Here is the new thread for this week - target for everyone this week is 2lbs for everyone!! Lets see if we can all do it and get out of the slump a few of us have had

WE CAN DO IT

OP posts:
applepie · 28/01/2004 09:43

Hi fellow slimmers, hope its' going well for you. I'm feeling good about this so far this week - my clothes and rings are feeling looser, maybe I should look at a name change to StewedApples or soemthing a bit lighter than applepie. Time will tell for tomorrow's weigh-in - hope I'm not heading for a fall after posting this!

marthamoo · 28/01/2004 09:46

I don't have a foodie name but marthamoo is slightly reminiscent of a big fat cow (I'm saying nothing.... )

salt · 28/01/2004 10:29

As a newie to this - can you tell me - do I need to emil my weight to you today or tomorrow? is there a deadline?

Also could you forward me the DB you mentioned in last weeks thread. I've finally caught up but with the other threads... well to some degree anyway.

Made a fantastic pork stir-fry last night from a low fat book I had - only 3g of fat per serving and was gorgeous too so I'm feeling really positive about loosing weight today

applepie · 28/01/2004 11:57

Hi salt, weigh-in time is Thursday morning, after wee, before breakfast - emails to Beccaroo at [email protected]. Not sure who has the DB, I can't keep up to date with this single thread most the time (too busy dieting/exercising - yeah right), but I'm sure someone can oblige...

Demented · 28/01/2004 19:52

Anyone else get a bit nervous on a Wednesday night?

Hulababy · 28/01/2004 19:57

Yep! Been good all week though (except Friday as I said early). Dh lost only half a pound this week (weighs on Monday) so hoping to beat him. My ball is next Friday so want to lose maximum amount.

My exercise is about to improve though. As of Monday my lift will be out of action for 12 weeks!!! I will be climbing up and down those 120 odd stairs at least twice a week - got to help I guess.

Beccarollover · 28/01/2004 20:06

Yep - Im very nervous this week as I have been truly CRAP - hoping that new class will give me a kick up the bum

OP posts:
Kayleigh · 28/01/2004 21:20

Have you decided yet Beccarollover ? WW or SW ?

JanHR · 28/01/2004 21:21

JUst warning you that I will probably be doing a forfeith this week. AF is due but about 3 or 4 days late

Beccarollover · 28/01/2004 21:32

Going for WW as joining with friend and she wants to do that - it works too when I stick to it lol

If I get sick Im going to give SW a go - I quite like the sound of it!

OP posts:
Kayleigh · 28/01/2004 21:43

I think they all work if you stick with it. It's the sticking that's the problem!
Good luck. You should do well with all this support whatever you do.

mrcheese · 28/01/2004 22:06

ww snowed off

Poofs! there was only an inch or so - so had haggis for tea

JanHR · 28/01/2004 22:31

You are making me jealous. I love haggis but DP doesn't

Demented · 29/01/2004 00:34

I'm getting good at this, I made bread this morning and we ate about half of it. My DH has just come in and asked me where the rest of the bread has gone (think he wants to make a sarnie) and I've just realised that without giving it a second thought I just picked the whole lot up and put it in the bin when I was clearing up. LOL! The brain is obviously not much better, perhaps that's where I've been losing the weight from!

Hulababy · 29/01/2004 09:08

Just another pound lost this week. It has to be the one cheat at the weekend. Frustrating though as I have been realy good during the week and have saved points for the weekend, and not gone over for the week at all yet. At least it is now 9lbs off since the start though.

Once that lift stops on Monday I may lose more too from all the stair climbing - fingers crossed.

princesspeahead · 29/01/2004 09:52

janhr, you don't have to do a forfeit if you are pg you know!

are you usually that late?

lilibet · 29/01/2004 12:08

I have stayed the same, which is not really surrpising.
I went to pizza hut with Janh and Beetroot last night

Must try harder
must try harder
must try harder

Cant e mail you my weight Becca, as I cant access e mail at work and going striaght out tonight, but as I said, no change!

JanHR · 29/01/2004 15:18

I will be doinmg a forfeit this week. Did a test earlier NOT pg.

JanHR · 29/01/2004 15:19

PPH I think it may be having the Contracptive implant fitted that is making me late.

princesspeahead · 29/01/2004 16:06

lol janhr, I was only joking...
we can definitely get you to do a forfeit then!!

Demented · 29/01/2004 17:20

I bought a new pair of trousers today (well sort of the long was too long so I have regular on order) still a size 14 but I don't think they look too bad on, lowish slung black jeans from next with a wide waistband IYKWIM (good for holding the belly in), couldn't have gotten away with them at the start of the month. They are still tight enough for another half stone or more weight loss without them being too big. My current jeans (the ones I had to lie down to put on at the start of the month) are slipping down all the time, hurrah! Long may it continue!

Beccarollover · 29/01/2004 21:00

Codswollop, Kittypickle and Clairebelle couldnt make it to weigh in this week due to snow and illness in kiddies so whilst it says 0 lost it doesnt mean that!! Lets hope for big losses next week when we know how well you have done!

We lost a total of 20lbs this week which makes 116 pounds alogether!!!

Well done and Keep it up
