Ooh, that is good timing as I get back from a few days in France on the 29th where there will no doubt be beaucoup des carbs... Although, let's all swear to keep going til then need you all to keep me on the straight and narrow

carbalanche · 12/03/2013 13:23

Biwi just wanted to check that we are OK to keep filling in the spreadsheet in the intervening 7 weeks till the next Bootcamp? I feel the need to keep the momentum going. I aim to be about 11st 7 by the time we reconvene again - (I just wanted to put that down in writing to spur myself along!)

Great results on here Grin

WillieWaggledagger · 12/03/2013 13:32

please do carbalanche. i won't be doing biggest loser etc but i like to keep going too as it keeps me accountable

Bessie123 · 12/03/2013 13:32

biwi that was a very firm and sensible response. Boo. Can you confirm whether your big stick will also be on the general rolling chat thread?

MaryBeardfanclub · 12/03/2013 13:39

thank you to whoever recommended the BAB - I have BABBED for the last 4 days and have had virtually zero snacks.

In my early LCHF days I used to eat this tremendous breakfast - easy to transport to work or whereever and snack on:
1.5 chicken breasts, coated in beaten egg, dipped in loads of parmesan and fried in butter. plus a large chunk of cheese. Delicious and kept me full til lunch. I stopped having it after eating it for about 3 months solid. Might go back to it as currently eating a lot of sausages and bacon.

black well done re sticking to the woe despite feeling poorly - I was ill about 3 weeks ago and really craved carbs - a feeling that I had forgotten.

off to recipe thread now - must have parmesan shortbread...Smile

MaryBeardfanclub · 12/03/2013 13:47

cant find recipe thread, can someone link?
thank you in advance

Smile
BlackAffronted · 12/03/2013 13:49

Mary, I am also loving my BABs, no snacking for me either :)

BlackAffronted · 12/03/2013 13:50

Well, Ill admit I had a handfull of salty chips yesterday, I was craving them so bad :( Only had a cream cracker and a mug of broccoli/cauli soup besides that. Today though, I am back on LC properly.

BIWI · 12/03/2013 14:02

You're quite right, Willie Blush

Ten weeks would take us up to 7 July.

Bessie - there may or not be some Big Stick Action. But first I need to know why you have asked the question ... Wink

(Needy). But you will still be there for us wont you Biwi? To answer questions and tell us off and stuff.

And Willie wont go anywhere will she?

And Hercules and thekitchenfairy and Val and BA and everyone will still come to support us.........

And we can still tell you what we have had to eat and you will still pretend to be interested?

Very interesting article BIWI. It took 10 months of LC-ing for my blood pressure to become normal, but that is after over thirty years of having high blood pressure. So it works!

BIWI · 12/03/2013 16:58

I won't be going anywhere, Ruprekt Grin

OP posts:
WillieWaggledagger · 12/03/2013 17:23

God ruprekt I need you lot to keep me on the straight and narrow. I need the ever-present threat of the Big Stick as much as anyone!

Ruprekt · 12/03/2013 17:27

GrinGrinHee hee!!

JakeBullet · 12/03/2013 17:32

So so glad we will all still be supporting one another between Bootcamps. I have found the threads such a help.

MaryBeardfanclub · 12/03/2013 18:29

I tried the teapigs mint + liquorice tea, lovely albeit pricey

also bought Twinings liquorice tea - also lovely, reminded me of the liquorice twigs I used to chew as a child - it;s a lot cheaper too

B: 3 black farmer chipolatas, 3 rashers streaky bacon, 2 hb eggs
L: roast pork, gravy, cauli with cheese
D: will be buttered cabbage with pork mince ragu sauce with soured cream + cheese

Ilovemyteddy · 12/03/2013 18:50

I couldn't have done this without the spreadsheet and the Big Stick. And, of course, you lovelies Grin

JakeBullet · 12/03/2013 19:26

Is the Twinings Liquorice tea as sweet as the Teapigs one.....am a but addicted and it's pricy Grin

timidviper · 12/03/2013 20:04

Bessie Even though there is a gap between bootcamps we keep chatting and most of us stick to the WOE just the same. Bootcamp just knocks us all back into line every now and again.

Don't worry we'll all still be here and I think the spreadsheet is left open too

MrsHerculePoirot · 12/03/2013 20:25

Not going anywhere!!! I need you lot to keep me in check.

I was at a conference today, food provided. I took my own salad in my salad box - was delish! I didn't have a single snack, pastry or biscuit - not even one. Usually I think I'll just have one small one then think fuck it and eat loads! I did have lots of coffee and not enough water though...

littlermissstan · 12/03/2013 20:28

Well I think I pulled it back after the Danish pastry incident this morning - salad with oily dressing, cucumber sticks dipped in tzatziki and a couple of slices of salami for lunch, then roast chicken thighs and home made coleslaw tonight. Got a weekend of unknown eating coming up - lunch with FIL and dinner with friends - so need to make sure am on track til then!

EMUZ · 12/03/2013 21:06

I just had a lovely picky tea of roast chicken (with mrs dash seasoning) and crispy bacon wrapped in little gem lettuce with shredded cucumber and a tiny bit of spring onion. With nandos peri sauce. Now my mouth is on fire Grin
