Well done Double, that's definitely choosing your hard!

And well done Tabby, running in this weather? Hard core.

DoubleMum · 11/03/2013 20:28

LOL, didn't have any apple crumble either Randall.
Fat, more like.

OP posts:
TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/03/2013 20:39

Ahh the apple crumble would have got me!

Lizzylou · 11/03/2013 20:50

Well done double for resisting temptation and tea, you shredding goddess!
Bssh, that tagine sounds lush.
I have just done a kettlecise class. I worked doubly hard as felt slightly Erm... windy and there are lots of squats and lunges. The shame.

RandallPinkFloyd · 11/03/2013 20:57

Now apple crumble would have definitely defeated me. Mmm crumble......

Lizzy you'll have a pelvic floor of steel!

Tabbykat · 11/03/2013 21:01

Lizzy just think how toned you'll be holding it all in! Legs starting to ache now - hope it's at least done me some good.....

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/03/2013 21:43

I really do like apple crumble perhaps more than cake.

Lizzy Just WOW! By level 3 my pelvic floor had given in and decided to stop doing its job. The shame of getting on.

DoubleMum · 12/03/2013 07:56

LOL, even more reasons why I can't do Shred. My pelvic floor is already shredded.
Weighed in for a very happy 3.4 lb loss today taking me over a stone and a half.
I have two poorly DCs again though, coughing all over the place, and a nasty cough and sore head tonight. Plus I really need to do a quick food shop, for milk for a start or I might run out of PG Tips , but can't go to the shops now. And parents' evening tonight, bleurgh.

Lizzylou · 12/03/2013 08:54

Yay Double, that is brilliant!

Well, I have 3 weeks until the dreaded 4-0 and scales didn't move last week, so am on it now. Upping exercise (pelvic floor notwithstanding) as I can see a big difference in tone etc, even if the scales aren't budging.

I will have to get some windeeze or something though Confused

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 12/03/2013 09:13

Double that is amazing. Can you feel the difference? I found walking a less sweaty and heavy breathing task when i got rid of my first stone and a half. But on to the most important bit. OMG. Tea emergency. That is serious!

Lizzy exciting birthday Grin I bet you'll look amazing with all that exercise

kalidanger · 12/03/2013 09:23

Wow, that's fantastic Double You're my inspiration Blush

Thanks all for kind words on MFP for my 2lb loss! I do feel very slightly different already Grin Possibly my imagination but it feels nice so I'm, uh, keeping it.

Question My daily goal went up by itself on Sunday - from 1,320 to 1,568 Hmm I am sure I didn't change anything. Does it do it itself after a certain amount of time or something? Hmm

BambieO · 12/03/2013 09:26

Did it factor in your exercise output kalidanger?

kalidanger · 12/03/2013 09:30

Exercise what? Sad I'm not really doing any at the moment apart from 3.5mph to and from the tube station.

I think I've messed it up by 'quick adding' 4k calories on Sunday, as I had a massive blow out all day long with my family and couldn't have logged everything individually... But then I go to Goals on MFP and it still says 1,380 (not 1,320 but that was my error in prev post).

BambieO · 12/03/2013 09:33

Sometimes if you log exercise it adds to the calories you can have in a day. If not it might just have recalculated for the quick add you did?

Has it gone back now?

DoubleMum · 12/03/2013 10:00

Isn't windeeze what you use for cleaning windows Lizzy? I got a bit confused there reading your post. Doesn't take much, mind. Remember you've already made a huge difference before the big day.
You'll all be relieved to know that I've found some Sainsbury's Basics teabags in the garage (top tip, the poor man's PG Tips, they taste almost exactly the same) so the dreadful prospect of Tea Deprival Syndrome has been averted. Still haven't got any milk though which is problematic in terms of a good cuppa.
Tea I can't really say I feel any different, although perhaps I find going up the stairs a bit easier.
Kali did it only change on Sunday and back to normal now?

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 12/03/2013 10:06

Wowzers Double 3.4lb, that's amazing!

And well done Kali too, 2lb is a great loss.

Lizzy, with all tha exercise you're doing you must be really changing your shape, wish I was as motivated as you are.

Lizzylou · 12/03/2013 10:08

Oh Double, I am not sure! I was thinking of Wind-eze That extra e could explain a lot!
Hurrah for tea! I am the same with coffee, cannot function without it.

Kali, just keep to normal calories and hope it re-adjusts in a few days?

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/03/2013 10:27

Well, I've somehow managed to drop half a pound!

More than happy with that are the week I had and most importantly it takes me over the 2 stone mark.

Back to the grindstone this week Grin

DoubleMum · 12/03/2013 10:43

Yay! Randall, fantastic! And that's with a munchy holiday too!

OP posts:
saintmerryweather · 12/03/2013 11:17

Well done everyone! I have been ill over the weekend so havent eaten much which means im now 11 st 12 1/2 whereas last weds i was 12 st 3. I expect itll go back on when i start eating normally again but im hoping itll have given me the kickstart i need to get going

kalidanger · 12/03/2013 11:24

Thanks, chiefs. I'll have a fiddle with it and see if it re-sets. I'm quite happy at 1380 so far, except for a weekly blow out Hmm I am was so fat crap at managing myself that merely eating sane amounts will hopefully make a big difference to start with. That's what I've convinced myself of anyway.

Sadly, I'm working from home today which is so much harder to keep to set meal times but I choose to stay out if the fridge.

saintm being ill is great sometimes innit Grin

DoubleMum · 12/03/2013 11:30

Kali I work from home all the time, it's definitely more difficult to be disciplined. I just try to be more mindful of everything that goes in my mouth.

OP posts:
BambieO · 12/03/2013 11:37

Well done everyone. I had a sneaky mid week weigh and I am 10lbs down since I started on 03rd so I am definitely going to keep going. I want to see that stone before the month is out.

Being at home is the worst, there is so much temptation. I, like double, have to be extra careful what I eat now when I am here

MrGeresHamster · 12/03/2013 11:42

Darn it 1.5lb on this week, probably due to huge boobs as breast feeding has now finished. Feel like they are going to pop! Might try out the Savoy cabbage idea. Really hoping this is the reason for the gain. I've been going steadily down since January and don't want to lose the stride...

Working from home is a huge killer but on the plus side you have more opportunity to be surrounded by good snacks.

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/03/2013 13:22

Wow Bambi, 10lb since the 3rd of March Shock bloody hell!
