oooooo, it's all moving fast down chiefsville today Grin

I want white eyes. I want to feel 'cleansed'. And more than happy to have something up my bum Grin. But I'm not so sure about having a shit with a lady patting my rump unless I'm going to get a baby at the end of it. Lizzy do they give babies away at the end?

Randall You lovely Goddess you. Well done. The rate you're going you could be there in a mere 8-10 weeks! Wow.

Lilleth - I'm 5ft 5 (I found out I'd grown an inch at my old gimmer health check) and a summer loser too. I used to have a 1200 limit on MFP too. It was because I set a weekly goal of a 2lb loss. I did it for a couple of weeks so I got my appetite under control - after Christmas I was eating all the time. Then I increased my goal to 1370 for a couple of weeks. Then 1600 (as I started following 2:5). There is a calculator that the lovely Bssh provided us with which allows you to work out the number of calories you should eat to maintain current weight basically, if you upped your activity a little more and dropped 100 or 200 calories below that that weight you would see a weight loss over time. Once you're a couple of weeks into it then the other numbers it calculates allows you to do cleverer weight loss things. Tis Clever

Today I went to try on new frocks in my quest to try and get my head around the thinner body. I've gone from a size 14(isn) to size 10 Shock But I didn't dare buy anything in case I put it all back on again! And I'm a bit sad because I've got lots of beautiful vintage clothes that don't fit me any more - my norks are no longer the bountiful things they were.

So I'm off to my niece's wedding in the one frock I already own that doesn't look baggy. Tis six seasons old and not on a comeback moment! Luckily I won't know anyone there under the age of 65, except DH (who doesn't count as he's just pleased to see me in a bikini at the moment) and niece (who will be looking into the eyes of a beautiful new DH) . I will get into the groove of a new wardrobe once I'm back and have a job and find a dressmaker who can take in the clothes I want to carry on wearing.

Pre-emptive fasting today for the boozing at the weekend. Half the children are vomiting but I am going to shred level 1-3 before I go to my fourth parent's evening of the month!

Chiefs. Old and New. You all rock.

dinkydoos · 20/03/2013 14:28

Hello all! Any newbies feel free to add me, dinkydoos1943 on mfp.
Just decided to have a quick catch up on the thread and find it's all bum talk, shocking [ grin]. I really do fancy it though ( well the results!) bet you feel great after.
Fast day 2 of the week here, but seeing as drank a bottle of wine last night with a friend ( yup, one each on a Tuesday) I reeeeeeeally am not having fun not eating.
randall you're on fire girl, awesome consistent loser you!
Size 10 tea ...... V v envious of that!

RandallPinkFloyd · 20/03/2013 14:51

Size 10? there aren't enough Envy faces.

I've never been a size 10, not ever. Even when I was a skinny waif in my late teens/early twenties I was always at least a 12/14 thanks to my big old hips.

Although contrary to that I have no arse at all. I'm quite a catch.

Have a fabulous time, I reckon all the bikini/beach clothes action will really help you come to terms with your hot new look. You'll be raring to get to the shops when you get back!

BambieO · 20/03/2013 14:51

Tea! That's brilliant you must be so proud of yourself :)

Lizzylou · 20/03/2013 14:52

Oh now I am not sure about this bum stuff (deffo NO to a baby either tea!), started a thread in Health and general consensus is that I am a freaky weirdo for even contemplating it.

Randall, you are doing so, so well.

Tea, size 10!!! That is fabulous.

Dinky, you are a veritable Rock Chick drinking a bottle of wine on a Tuesday. Well jell.

BambieO · 20/03/2013 14:54

Do it lizzy! You won't regret it :)

LillethTheCat · 20/03/2013 15:23

Thanks for the link tea. That gave me a higher calorie allowance, but it gave me a lower TDEE than another site I looked on while thinking about the 5:2 plan.

How do you find a reputable company for a Colonic irrigation? If its only £50 or there abouts I will be able to save up for that just before I go away in May.

I want to be a size 10, I wish I could go back to my late teens and tell myself to make the most of being slim rather than thinking I was a little bit chubby (I was a size 8)

KettleCrunch · 20/03/2013 15:23

Blimey, I leave you all for a few hours and the thread is all bums and shitting! Charming! Nobody's coming anywhere near my arse, though, thanks, no matter how white it might make my eyes...

Tea you star! Size 10! You're an inspiration :)

BambieO · 20/03/2013 15:50

Haha kettle, are you sure we can't sway you Grin

This is definitely TMI but I feel we are all old friends, there was a pepper in mine when I went and I hadn't eaten a red pepper for over two months! It really does flush you right through! Blush

DoubleMum · 20/03/2013 16:19

I don't think I want my eyes to be white, that sounds like a freaky alien.
Bambie I am Shock Shock about the pepper.

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 20/03/2013 16:20

And does that mean you have to examine it all afterwards??!
Double Shock and quite frankly [barf].

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 20/03/2013 16:23

Sorry Tea, I meant to exclaim over your clothes problem but I was momentarily overcome by thoughts of liquid poo. It wasn't good.
I would ask on Facebook (if you're on it) about a dressmaker, there's always somebody who knows somebody. Alternatively, ask in M&S menswear dept as they will always know someone local who alters suits.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 20/03/2013 16:28

Shock I will NOT be examining the contents of my intestines!!!

If I do it.

Lilleth, I am going by recommendation. The fact that they are a "proper" well known and rather posh clinic. All certified and they were on TV. Gillian Mckeith doncha know Wink It costs £60.

Still rather undecided though!

KettleCrunch · 20/03/2013 16:34

Bambie I am traumatised by the pepper!!!! Is all of this enema talk just an elaborate plan to put us off our dinner so we are extra low on our calorie counts for the day?

Lizzy I would be wary of anything Gillian McKeith was involved with... this Guardian article is a good summary of why. I think colonic irrigation can sometimes damage your bowels too, even if it's done by 'reputable' places, so be careful!

kalidanger · 20/03/2013 17:58

I would adore to get my butthole swilled out. It's on my list of Things To Do, along with getting my teeth whitened when I give up the fahs (fat smoker ). Speaking of that, I'm on Champix and I think the weird rash I've got is a side effect Hmm It's raised red dots on either side of my knees Hmm and I nearly used the unsightlyness as an excuse to get out of swimming Sad But I'm going. In a minute. Women & Girls Swin starts at 7 so I'm heading for that. Best take your pestilence prophylaxis anyway though...

RandallPinkFloyd · 20/03/2013 18:34

You know those jeans I tried to try on a few weeks ago week that made me cry? Well I just tried them on again and only went and blooming well bought them.

It ain't pretty but they do up and everything! Size 14 skinny's from New Look. I'm inordinately chuffed. Grin

DoubleMum · 20/03/2013 18:37

Well done on the jeans Randall!
Oi, Kali get yourself in that pool pronto. I don't suit green pus-filled spots at all.

OP posts:
kalidanger · 20/03/2013 18:40

Randall well frickin done!

I'm at the bus stop!!

kalidanger · 20/03/2013 18:44

I'm on the bus!!

SylviaDaisyPouncer · 20/03/2013 19:00

Evening Chiefs!

I promise I have read all the 4+ pages I have missed, however all my brain is remembering is colonic irrigation and long lost peppersShock

Welcome new chiefs. I am SDPouncer on mfp, I will try to find some of you in a bit.

kali enjoy the swim, well done for getting up and going. Are you having odd dreams on Champix? Someone I work with is taking it and has some amazing/ disturbing dreams.

randall Skinny jeans...get you!! Marvellous job. My wish is to get down to a decent weight and be able to wear fab jeans. Actually it would be nice to be able to walk into a shop knowing clothes are going to look great on me. Hips, bum and thighs have always been my problem.

Made fairy cakes with dd today and I didn't even want to have one! Funny but I just feel this time I am in the right mindset to beat my bulges.

Did my first day of 30 day shred today. I have my own personal trainer in dd who enjoyed shouting "exercise Mummy" and found me using cans as weights pretty funny. My legs know I've been introduced to Jillian, but I enjoyed it.

Right got to go, have been putting off filling out our passport renewals for a good few days and they need to be sent ASAP.

Have a good eveningSmile

Lizzylou · 20/03/2013 19:45

I was joking about Gillian Mckeith! She is a faux quack doc.

Go Kali!

Randall, you star! How good do you feel?? Size 14 skinny jeans, swit woo!!! Smile

SPD, well done on cupcake avoidance and your first shred cherry popped.

I have done parents evening and another run as had to miss spinning due to blooming parents evening.

Tomorrow have an afternoon off as DS1 has a football tournament and we have noone to take him. So will have an hour or so before school pick up to myself, going to the gym I think.

BsshBossh · 20/03/2013 20:02

Hello! My experiment going off line was partially successful. I found it fine not surfing during the day but once DD was in bed and DH still at work then I found that quite tough. I got loads of reading (books, magazine, paper) done though! Back now though :) I will try to continue limiting my web surfing but will now still post here and on the 5:2 threads.

Wow Randall great loss and yes yes yes to skinny jeans!

Well done Lizzy and Double on your losses too - hurrah!

Tea size 10 Envy is amazing. Stupendous! Well done! I have no idea what size I've dropped to. I am so used to being big and hating trying on clothes that I still have some residual fears around clothes shopping. I'll wait until the weather warms up and I am forced to look at new dresses.

Tiger hope you're feeling better...

I've been thinking alot about how I want to progress my exercise routine. I've obviously lost alot of body fat but now I want to look sleek and firm with defined muscle tone. I've been reading fitness magazines and researching body building websites and think I may shift my focus to weight training. I've already done a bit of this but I want to ramp it up - to lift heavy. I think my weight will go up a bit when I shift to weight training so I'll wait until I'm at goal weight then try and lose another 5 or so lbs to give me some buffer. I plan on doing 20 minutes of HIIT speed walking/running on treadmill (I am a gym bunny) and then 40 minutes weights 3 to 4 times a week. I'm quite excited planning it all out.

Had a good fast day Monday and restrained eating day yesterday (though I think I still managed to eat to my TDEE) but today went to pot - a day of pure junk. By school pickup time I'd already eaten a day's worth of food (none of it healthy) so tomorrow's fast day starts now with no dinner. And I'm guzzlng water to offset all the sodium I've inhaled.

Hello new Chiefs! I'm Bssh on MFP. Feel free to add me though I no longer log my food diary or exercise.

RandallPinkFloyd · 20/03/2013 20:08

You go Bssh!

BambieO · 20/03/2013 20:09

Haha you don't examine but there is a filtration unit and you can see it allow whizz by! The lady said to me 'there's a pepper' hahaha Blush

Lets all do it! Grin

BambieO · 20/03/2013 20:11

Fabulous losses all round! I need some jeans to aim for sounds like a plan.
