If anyone want to babysit a 7m baby I'll takes kids sledging? we've already been on a snowventure to sainsburys (needed milk for hot chocolate!) and I spent most of yesterday with my nose pressed to the window watching all the kids playing out! I am planning on making a snowman later if little man will sit nicely in his pram! DH is at work!

oh and in the times today is says BMI is changing! I now need to lose an extra 3lb to be only overweight (12 4) Not happy with that!

DoubleMum · 19/01/2013 11:44

Aww I'd love to babysit a 7m baby!

ChasingDogs · 19/01/2013 12:46

Well done saint!

I love the snow, so spent 45 mins stomping about in it this morning. 335 calories according to my heart rate monitor, so might be worth sledging in the cold after all!

Not a fan of snowy pavements though, I always end up falling off my own feet.

SupermanEatsKryptonite · 19/01/2013 13:00

Am having a "fuck it" day today. It's my birthday tomorrow and our child free evening last night was canx due to snow. All 3 kids are ill and H had a lie-in then fucked off out for an hour, which turned out to be two, to buy my present. He's only had all fecking year to get me something.

My best friend is scheduled for a medical proc during the week so can't drink, other friends are skint, can't get a sitter or are detoxing so no-one wants to do anything tonight. I hate hate hate having a birthday in January.

I had a crisp sandwich with Lurpak (get me!) and am debating on when is too early to open the vanilla vodka.

I will be back on the wagon come Monday...

DoubleMum · 19/01/2013 13:19

Hope you manage to have a good birthday despite it all superman - or postpone it to next weekend.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 19/01/2013 14:27

I feel too guilty to catch up on the thread.

I had dinner out yesterday and had profiteroles Blush

And tonight I will be having a curry Blush

I will be back on track tomorrow though

noddyholder · 19/01/2013 14:29

I have lost about 6 lbs since xmas. Am having a curry tonight but having salmon tikka and salad and a tablespoon of dp's sauce. I am not as strict at weekends tbh

RandallPinkFloyd · 19/01/2013 14:35

Well done noddy and kimmi!

carrie, profiteroles? Well jel Envy

Pinot · 19/01/2013 14:41

I'm having curry tonight too. Tis in the slow cooker. Chicken tit, onions, balti paste and bulgar wheat all simmering away. Yummo. Bulgar wheat better than rice I think? Certainly easier to cook

saintmerryweather · 19/01/2013 14:52

Thanks Grin i do find it easy ish to get to this point then the biscuots will start creepibg back in, but ive always done it by myself before. well done noddy!

DoubleMum · 19/01/2013 15:24

Well done noddy! Now I wish I was having a curry. DS is out so we are having roast chicken tomorrow and no idea what to have tonight!

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 19/01/2013 15:28

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Superman

Congratulations to all who have lost weight.
I haven't weighed yet. As an incentive I have ordered myself the perfume I want but I will get DH to keep it until I reach 10 stone 13 lb

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 19/01/2013 15:31

Afternoon chiefs.

saint what a lovely incentive - to enter a competition.

I hate snow too Double and Wise. Well I like it for an hour and for a couple of goes on the sledge with the boys but then I get bored of being stranded on a hill with lots of ice. I didn't get to the gym yesterday as all schools were cancelled so went today - on the way there I fell over three times on my big fat arse. Luckily weight loss hasn't been so good so I was padded for landing.

I looked like a right twat too because I was dressed for arctic conditions but when I got into town it'd all been cleared. I wonder whether walking on ice earns extra calories - my stomach muscles were certainly being used to try and prevent it being a fourth time.

I tend to not be so strict at the weekend either noddy - we're on roast chicken this evening too but going to have a baked potato rather than roasts . But this evening the G&T will be slushy. Thanks Juney

I'd love to look after the 7m baby too

Lizzylou · 19/01/2013 18:34

That mustard and lentil chicken was divine. Completely recommend.

Finally found Bulgar wheat today.

Superman, happy birthday for tomorrow.

Well done losers Smile

MaureenShit · 19/01/2013 19:04

MaureenShit · 19/01/2013 19:06

how cna you be less htan 9 stone 4 noddy you freak
i want to be you

CarriedAwayAnnie · 19/01/2013 19:06

I've caught up now! I agree cold weather = carb cravings!

I don't like goats cheese but have enjoyed Feta on my salads and roasted veg this week - nice and salty.

My weigh in day is Monday and I'm dreading it after this weekend. I did make myself Shred today to try and burn some of it off. And I will try and do it again tomorrow even though all I want to do in this weather is snuggle under a blanket.

I was dragged out to a big hill yesterday to sledge. Boy did my legs hurt walking back up, Jillian Michaels has a lot to answer for - my poor leg muscles are sore!

Well done on all the loses - every bit counts chiefs!!

RandallPinkFloyd · 19/01/2013 19:08

Good work mo!

We need another thread chiefs, who wants to do the honours?

nilbyname · 19/01/2013 19:09

Oh I had the lime and ginger chicken up thread and had it with rice with some peas, toms, red onion and corriander through it the other night there and it was so flipping delicious! RECOMMEND.

mo that is great! You are such a fucking loser.

I am going to sledging tomorrow morning, for shiz, work those glutes (what are glutes?)

laurenamium · 19/01/2013 19:10

Hi everyone!

Happy birthday for tomorrow superman! Wine Thanks

We didn't make it out sledging because it was sleet and blizzards all day Sad but I've had a good day calorie wise so hopefully sledging will happen tomorrow!

I've finally found my zone and turned down chocolate today AND turned down a takeaway tonight!

laurenamium · 19/01/2013 19:11

Well done mo!

BupcakesAndCunting · 19/01/2013 19:19

G'day chiefs!

Am feeling a bit more chipper today as I weighed myself on my friend's super accurate £70 scales and I have lost 2lbs! Damn my wanky antique mechanical scales. This has made my day :)

So have just cooked a chicken korma to celebrate, but from the Hairy Dieters book Wink Had half a naan bread too.

Well done Mo and Saint!

Lizzylou · 19/01/2013 19:24

Well done Mo, that should lighten your mood somewhat eh?

Lauren, good for you Smile

Nilby, that one is on my list as well.

BBC Good Food is fab for low cal, tasty, filling recipes. Stops you getting bored and the boys and DH loved tonights meal.

RandallPinkFloyd · 19/01/2013 19:30

Yay bups Grin. Scales are wankers. Fact.

DoubleMum · 19/01/2013 19:31

Well done Mo!
Well done Bups!
I must meal plan so that I can try some of the Hairy Dieter recipes. Sadly my DD has really gone off curry. Sad
