bups sorry you haven't seen the loss you deserve.
I've done years of SW and one of the things I have learnt is that whilst a lot of people have their best loss in the first week, sometimes it doesn't happen then. I can remember dozens of people who have either not lost in the first week or only a little bit. The ones that stuck at it and came back the next week invariably then had a good loss. Also, try to only weigh yourself once a week ha! certainly don't weigh yourself lots of times a day like I do as it will fluctuate wildly.
Lastly, do YOU feel better? Do YOU feel thinner? If the answer is yes, then why let a fucking number get you down. Because that is all it is, a number.
Stay strong, we are all going to have days and weeks like that and that's why we are posting on this thread for support.

I've struggled today. Woke up starving and have been at home with poorly child all day - had already eaten a toasted tea cake and 4 choc digestives by 10am. Greedy. However I've logged them plus everything else i plan to eat into mfp and I'll scrape in under as long as I stay on the straight and narrow for the rest of the day.

I've not lost a single, solitary pound yet. BUT I do feel good about myself. Im wobbling a little less and feeling perkier. I'm sure the scales will catch up at some point.

I too got my weight wrong on MFP so although the scales show a 6lb loss, mfp is saying I've gained.

Can I reset that?

WiseKnee, I DO feel better, even for just eating properly again. I've noticed that my hair has got shinier and I don't feel as sluggish as I did. I'm definitely keeping it up.

Don't feel guilt! That will lead to "oh I'm such a fat cow/slug/chief ill never do this so I might as well eat these crisps/biscuits/buckets of chips"

Just forget it. But try to remember that regret when faced with the bad stuff today. Log everything, that's what I love about MFP. In the past I'd eat something bad then gorge thinking it was hopeless but actually even a blow out can be recovered from.

You CAN do this. You WANT to do it.

I haven't listed what I ate at the weekend.

Needless to say I found a bag of apricot and chocolate gingerbread hearts left over from Christmas.

That was on top of the cocktails.

I am not that fussed, though, I lost weight slowly and steadily over the previous year by eating strictly to diet during the week and whatever the hell I fancied at the weekend. I would like a rather more rapid result though, so think I am gpoing to behave now until my birthday (3 March).

The thing is with MFP is that if you have a blow out and you think it will be 8000 cals, you are always surprised that it is not as bad as you think.

It's when you think you have eaten something healthy and then find out that it is a good 400 cals more than you assumed, that's when it's a bastard. Grin

Carried you can change your weight, but only on the website, I think. I managed to delete all of my weights from 2010 when I first registered with MFP and then gave up and was 20lbs lighter than I am now. So, my first weight is now from 1st Jan.
Bups I'm glad you feel better, because that's the important thing, really.
GetOrf I know what you mean. I just had a mini panic about eating ONE chocolate finger. When I put it not MFP, it was only 30 calories, so was a pleasant surprise. Although, now I am wishing I had had another one. Grin
