wise a diet tip I used was count from midday to midday, or 5pm til 5pm if you eat most of your calories in the evening, then count them first. You could (well I could) cope during a work day on only 200 - 300 cals in the day if I get all my calorie allowance in the evening!!

Not sure how you'd do it on mfp and Im not saying its a great method but when I did WW it helped me keep within points!

Lizzylou · 13/01/2013 11:11

Notfootball, kettlecise is my favourite class, it is quite like the shred in parts.

Have to think what I can have for dinner as dh came home yesterday with one of local butchers lovely pies for him and dc.

Thanks for that!

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 11:21

I didn't Shred yesterday so that was two days without Blush. It's soo difficult to do with 2dc around. On weekdays dd2 will just potter around me jumping around like a loon but with both dc here it's ner enough impossible.

STBXH took them to the park this morning though and I used my childfree time to excercise Shock I think I deserve a medal for that.

Stood on the scales this morning for the first time in 3 days and since Monday (when I started eating better and Shredding) I've lost 4lbs!

I have no idea what to do for dinner. I was going to do the Chicken and white bean stew Pooh linked to earlier in these threads but I forgot to get the haricot beans and cannot face a supermarket with two dc in tow on a busy Sunday so I'm going to have to think again.

Lizzylou · 13/01/2013 11:27

Thats fab carried!
We can do this, can't we? Everyone is doing so well.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 11:28

Oh and I made American pancakes for the dc this morning for breakfast and didn't have any Shock

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 11:31

Thanks Lizzy.

I think you when start seeing a difference in your clothes/shape etc, that's when it really motivates you to carry on. So hopefully it will get easier for all of us soon.

Choose your hard chiefs.

We can do this!!

nilbyname · 13/01/2013 11:43

carried you have done really well 4 pounds is great! I am weighing in on Wednesdays so am trying to be good till then. I might shred tonight my ankle feels loads better...and I bought really nifty new trainers.

We are going out for lunch now...am hopeful I can have something fishy and without being too carby. Dh will probably have fish and chips. Bastard.

RandallPinkFloyd · 13/01/2013 12:08

Yep, midnight made it Sunday in my world!

My food diary for today is looking worrying though, so far all it contains is cider and a fucktonne of hula hoops!

DoubleMum · 13/01/2013 12:17

Ooh carried well done!
So far I am still exactly the same weight as when I started. Sad But it's early days.

PoohBearsHole · 13/01/2013 12:29

Me too doublemum but am hoping for progress! Roast chicken for lunch with roast potatoes for the dc!

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 12:45

I'm guessing my 4lb is all water

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 12:49

I'm thinking of getting a fridge magnet and a sticker for the biscuit tin saying 'Choose your hard'.

Do you think that would help?

Either that or a photo of me naked but I think that could scar the dc for life!

SpringtimeForHitler · 13/01/2013 13:44

Well done carried

I need to buy some scales, I don't actually know what I weigh.

spamm · 13/01/2013 14:06

Carried - I like teh fridge magnet idea! I need one of those!

I have been brutally honest with my food diary for yesterday and it was not great. I gained 700 calories via exercise and I wasted much of that, as we went to an impromptu party at our Taekwondo DoJang. Chicken wings, noodles - aggghhhhh. At least I was driving so I could not join in the drinking games....dh slept in the basement and I bet he is not looking very pretty right now! I also did the cleaning after the party, while they continued drinking, and I walked the dog - so that will help a bit.

Anyway, I have a spinning class tonight, so that will likely make me work very hard! I'm off to walk the dog, as dh is probably still passed out on the couch still asleep.

WiseKneeHair · 13/01/2013 14:21

Well done carried
karate I meal plan anyway, so have been putting in my dinner earlier to give me an idea how much I have left.

It was fucking freezing watching DS1 play football this morning AND they were selling bacon baps, which I resisted.

Off to polish my halo now.Grin

ScarfHatSunglasses · 13/01/2013 14:32

Hmm we went to Wagamama for lunch, I tried to choose a dish that looked reasonable - teriyaki chicken donburi. I looked it up on MFP and it's a scary 900 cals!

I left quite a bit of it though and I am the fullest I've been all week Grin

Now I know that the hard bit will be not deciding to gorge as I've lost today anyway.

Choosing your hard is bloody hard!

PoohBearsHole · 13/01/2013 14:39

At wagamams always go with the beef salad..... No carbs :)

ScarfHatSunglasses · 13/01/2013 14:48

Ah thanks Pooh. The urge for sugar now is strong!

MaureenShit · 13/01/2013 15:06

i too have spinning tonight looks around

GeekLove · 13/01/2013 15:13

10st 7 now. Bastard!
I blame the kebab meat on Friday also I had chicken kebab with salad and ditched the pitta.
No Shred until Thursday although I will Zumba after DSs bedtime. Running after the boys and getting the housework done at least is adding to the steps though. 7000 and counting and I've not even done the vacuuming!

MaureenShit · 13/01/2013 15:18

What are you aiming for? Me too 10.7.
I don't take any count of housework. That's shit imo

CarriedAwayAnnie · 13/01/2013 15:29

If housework, childcare or walking killed calories I would be stick thin by now. #excitinglife

TheCrackFox · 13/01/2013 15:35

A fridge magnet with "chose your hard" is an excellent idea.
