Shred could be logged at circuits, as to me that is what it is most like?

I went round the shops with a toddler in tow....lots of walking round in round in circles....wonder if that burned anything? i did buy some new NIKE trainers. woot woot!

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/01/2013 16:34

Add it as walking nilly there's and option for slow pace 2 miles per hour. Still burns more than you think.

Well, I've totted up what I imagine will be consumed this evening and it only takes me to 100 over, and as long as I stay in my calories tomorrow and Monday I'll still be 2,000 under for the week. That's not too bad is it?

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 17:02

That's really not bad. Grin

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/01/2013 17:12

Straw gratefully clutched!

missnevermind · 12/01/2013 17:53

I am going to officially join you all. Instead of just hanging onto every word. I downloaded My Fitness Pal at the beginning of the last thread and have been going a week tomorrow.
Add me as a friend same name as on here.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 18:04

Hi there missnevermind welcome to the mad house. Grin

WiseKneeHair · 12/01/2013 18:34

Welcome missnevermind.
Struggled today, but chose my hard.
Have had tortillas on the menu from before I started MFP and DS1 would have left home so not all bad if we hadn't had them. I made a massive salad to go with it and was v restrained.
I can have a glass of wine and two chocolates tonight and only be 44 cals over. If I wasn't injured and could have shredded, I would have been under.

BupcakesAndCunting · 12/01/2013 18:41

Evening chiefs.

Not a good day for me today but twas expected as I did my cookery school then lunch with much wine.

Had lobster ravioli with foamy stuff, duck with celestial and apricot and Franciscan tart. am stuffed like a ducking Christmas turkey now :(

bups that was total food porn!

I will log it thanks randall, it all counts doesn't it.

I remembered a really good tip today, and wise you reminded me aabout it...we should have a big salad or some raw veg as a starter to a big meal to "wake up" out digestive systems and then to fill up on good stuff before the main and probably more calorific event.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 18:46

Sounds really delicious Bupcakes
Have just done our fried rice, very nice, and am similarly stuffed.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 18:48

nilby when DH & I did SW years ago (pre-kids) and did well, we are salad or fruit (or a small bowl of veg soup) before our main meal. It definitely helped to have smaller portions.

BupcakesAndCunting · 12/01/2013 18:54

ffs CELERIAC AND FRANGIPAN

double yes, it is then an actual FACT!

RavenVonChaos · 12/01/2013 18:57

Oh dear. Met a friend for lunch and we are both dieting. We ordered vegetarian Greek meze for two. They brought out a delicious platter of halloumi, courgette fritters, etc etc.

Absolutely gorgeous, but enough for SIX people. I kid you not! Smile

No dinner for tonight.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 19:14

Bupcakes I think the celestial and Franciscan sounded nicer...more exotic!

WiseKneeHair · 12/01/2013 19:36

Raven but all the veggies are low cal shame about the batter stuff
Glad to help re the salad. I just didn't want a half empty plate.
bups sounds like a very civilised way to spend a Saturday, rather than mine of trying to stop 3 DS's trying to kill each other.

spamm · 12/01/2013 19:48

Wow - everybody is doing such a great job - even at the weekend!

The gym was great this morning. I am the ultimate exercise-o-phobic. But I am really enjoying going to the gym - having a Personal Trainer helps, as he is great a showing me what to do properly, so I am not just wasting my time on the weights and things. I figure that the cost is worth every single cent - if it helps me lose weight, get healthy and stay healthier longer! My dh and ds go to Taekwondo, and the gym is my thing.

I even signed up for a spinning class tomorrow evening - it's going to kill me, isn't it? It will be my first time, but it looks like serious exercise.

The first time I had a PT session - I literally could not walk down stairs for 3 days. I had to either walk sideways, or go down on my bottom. My dh just laughed his head off every time I walked down stairs.

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/01/2013 19:50

Buppers that sounds fucking amazing Envy

I'm hiding out on here as my wonderful friends are all eating Thai noodles!

spamm · 12/01/2013 19:53

Bupcakes - that sounds amazing - was the the cookery school menu you worked on? Would you be able to replicate it at home, or was it just too complicated?

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 12/01/2013 19:55

BupCake, that sound lovely.

I made pulled pork today - had never made it before but it was delicious. I could have eaten twice the amount but I managed to show some portion-control-restraint

GetOrf · 12/01/2013 19:58

Bups that was an epic couple of typos Grin

Sounds lovely as well.

My day went to ratshit really, 4 cocktails, bruschetta and some chicken satays, then home, bag of crisps, bite of cheese, then to gym and 5000 m on the rowing machine pissed and a desultory lift of weights.

Home with a hangover and scouring the house for something to eat, fuck all in without cooking (urgh)

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 12/01/2013 20:08

Signing in for the Day. Not had as good a day as yesterday as was out for lunch at I-Ls. But still avoided all carbs until 630 but then fell on a pizza with my mouth open. Only thing keeping me within sight of my 1200 calories today was the run to and from the doctors with DS because his chest infection is getting worse.

My name on MFP is WillStillNeedTeaAndGin. I'd really appreciate some MN Official Monitors for moments of weakness. Thanks.

Chants. I'm in it for the long haul and I've chosen my hard.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 20:20

Tea have sent you a friend request.
I seem to have chosen my hard too, but am feeling a bit guilty as DH is struggling quite a bit with no alcohol (long story, but we are dry in Jan for him) and needs really nice food to help him along.

DoubleMum · 12/01/2013 20:22

jumped did you make the pulled pork in the slow cooker? I've just remembered I've got some in the fridge from a couple of days ago and am now kicking myself for not getting it eaten up today!

laurenamium · 12/01/2013 20:25

Welcome missnevermind come on in!

I didn't get round to excercising my calories off so I'm 100 over Sad but I don't log cleaning and exercise that I do everyday (shopping etc) so it's not too bad I suppose!

I need to start shredding again because I have been so lazy!
