Last one filled up really quickly, so here is a brand, spanking and distinctly thinner thread for you to fill up.

Why yes BIWI, I do believe it must be.

slatternlymother · 12/01/2013 18:42

And piste that's such a good idea re the tacos... Was wondering what i'd do with that beef mince in the freezer...

Hello all, hope you are all having a good weekend, After several days of feeling dreadful I finally feel more human - just shows what a carb fiend I was!

Have enjoyed having more time to cook today and have been a bit more creative.

Enjoy your evening, "see" you tomorrow.

BigStickBIWI · 12/01/2013 19:00

Phew, BlackAffronted! Grin Yes you may!

slatternly - you can stay on Bootcamp for as long as you like, as long as you're eating well and you're happy with it.

Fair cop re the milk. I felt dreadful before I drank it and much better afterwards though so I am not going to beat myself up about it (I have the bruises from BIWI's stick anyway!).

Dinner was blooming lovely.

Tomorrow I will avoid the milk!

BigStickBIWI · 12/01/2013 19:04

I never touched her, your honour ...

starfish Your fresh fish sounds amazing. Oh to be near the sea. Supermarket fish is nothing like proper fresh.

Thanks auntiemaggie I am sure that is what is happening with me. I had greek yog with a bit of vanilla this morning and a coffee and felt fine. My yog is from Waitrose and say greek style (not the low fat one). Hope this is ok.

So far today I've had

B - Coffee with cream, greek style yog with vanilla
L - Pizza Express Ceasar Dressing with salad, cheese and some ham
D - Cheeseburger (no bun!) salad and celeriac

Loads of water with cucumber - vv refreshing and another coffee. Feeling wonderful! Will be so proud of myself if I get through the weekend having zero alcohol. So far no real cravings which is a first for me. I bought a bag of pork crackling from waitrose that I was gonna have as a snack but thought they were disgusting so chucked them away. Sticking to a bit of cheese instead.

Well done everyone not long now til Monday. Can't wait for the collective weigh in!

BigStickBIWI · 12/01/2013 19:10

gloria Just check the carb counts on the yoghurt, and also on the PE Caesar dressing - they could both be quite high. Pre-prepared dressings often use a lot of sugar, (and artificial additives) so it's much better to make your own.

Am avoiding the scales and have virtuously exercised again today. If some lovely people could pass an eye over my food for today I would be grateful!

B: Eggs, mushrooms, butter
L: Pate, roast pork slice, prawns, olives, celery
D: Steak, prawns, asparagus, butter, garlic

:)

BigStickBIWI · 12/01/2013 19:53

Looks lovely!

Managed to start Monday but first post. Started at a truely shocking 94.4kg if anyone can add me in. V impressed to see all the efforts.

Any inspired easy breakfasts, am loving time for scrambled egg on weekend but not possible with the hours I work. Anything other than joghurt?

OTTMummA · 12/01/2013 20:07

How many carbs are we aiming for? I bought some soya milk for my tea as I am wanting something sweet, it's under 4 carbs for 100ml and tastes a lot better than the cream.

Livelongandprosper · 12/01/2013 20:07

Dodgy start for me. New job meant I couldn't keep disappearing off to the loo so couldn't drink enough water to start with. I have stuck with the plan thanks to this thread and after a slow beginning I am seeing results. I may even weigh myself tomorrow morning. Weight loss is not the major reason for me joining in though, it's also to do with the extremely unhealthy food choices I make when I am stressed (and when I'm not stressed, if I'm honest!)

Thanks to all those who post (I couldn't find the willpower by myself) and to BIWI for being our leader.

I've been eating lots of chicken, fish and allowed vegetables which is a fantastic improvement on what I was eating before.
Smile

slatternlymother · 12/01/2013 20:21

OTT I only drink about 2 cups of tea a day so I do use a splash of skimmed milk tbh. I have it brick red, builder style though so I can't see it doing much damage for the amount I'm having. Coffee I drink black, maybe 1-2 cups a day, probably 3 on the weekend. I'm going to try it with cream tomorrow. Can't imagine tea with cream being nice at all!

OTTMummA · 12/01/2013 20:27

The soya milk is a little sweeter than normal so I will use that and just have 2 cups max in a day. I am craving chocolate today :S

ChristmasJubilee · 12/01/2013 20:36

I'm struggling a bit today. It's just so cold here, -4 this morning. Took ds3 swimming so some exercise. I have eaten quite a lot today, all low carb, but too much and had 8 almonds. Will be better tomorrow!

queribus · 12/01/2013 21:04

Evening, all
Had a good day today

We had brunch (posh, we are!): bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms in butter

S bit of cheese
D tuna, prawns, spinach in butter, asparagus in butter, smoked salmon

Doshusallie · 12/01/2013 21:06

Takeaway in the dosh household tonight - Indian. Had:

Lamb tikka to start

Half a dish each of the following:

Mushroom Bhaji
Cauliflower Bhaji
Ralik paneer (spinach with cheese)
Small bag of shredded lettuce that came with it

Stuffed. It was delicious. Am finally full.

anewdispensation · 12/01/2013 21:11

I find that I dont get hungry anymore.. is that normal?

gloriafloria · 12/01/2013 21:25

Oh dear, just checked yoghurt 6.5g carbs of which 6.5g sugar per 100g. Is that too high do you think?

The Caesar dressing is 5g carbs of which 2.7g sugar per 100ml so slightly better. I don't use too much when I'm doing my salad as I don't like it swimming in it so hopefully this is ok.

Ruprekt · 12/01/2013 21:25

B - ff greek yog and cup of tea

11am - scrambled egg in butter with cheese and bacon

L - taramasalata and celery

D - Lush! DH cooked. Pan fried veal in butter with a cream and mushroom, bacon sauce topped with rocket and parmesan shavings

Loads water and 2 x peppermint tea.

Not hungry between meals AT ALL, in fact I almost have to shove the food down.

MrsHerculePoirot · 12/01/2013 21:46

Taramasalata - delish, how many carbs in that ruprekt?

MrsHerculePoirot · 12/01/2013 21:48

Brunch - black farmer chipolatas, scrambled egg, mushrooms and bacon
Lunch - prawn mayo wth paprika and cucumber
Dinner - left over lamb kleftiko and broccoli
Snacks - pork scratchings

Treat as weekend - sugar free jelly - DH and I know how to live on the wild side these days.

PrincessSparkle86 · 12/01/2013 22:03
