I was v bad the last two days and skived off Shredding. I told myself I would get up early and do it this morning but then DD was up for an hour at 3 and I slept in as a result. I will do it tonight!

I think I need a sports bra! When doing the butt kicks I have to hold my arms in a sort of weird boob cradle position to stop them bouncing too much.

Day off yesterday but by I wish I'd done it....I wasn't aching as badly as I'd convinced myself I was....

Did it today though...so that's L1D5

Ok I'm back:) dr says to its ok to exercise but he recommended I do Pilates and stretching. So I am going to stay on the thread for support to keep at it. I have to lose the weight round my tummy and hips, he said. So I have 2 weeks til my next appointment:)

I am skinner everywhere except there. He said after my cs's it will be harder due to muscle damage from the ops. He's such a ray of sunshine:)

L2 of Shred is definitely the worst.

ScarletLady02, you do the shred without a ports bra?! Shock You're a braver lady than I am!

Ladies, I have not shredded since Tuesday. [eek] I will shred tomorrow! double shred, even.. on the plus side I have done other stuff (circuits, dance, pilates...) but no shred, just can't face it any more! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah *first case of shred induced breakdown

anyone else play it but wear headphones with music to drown her out? I don't mute it totally because I still need to hear when I have to do things (don't always see the screen) but yeah, anyone who does not obliterate her voice after L1D2 is braver than I

I will start level 2 on Monday, have sunday off

Dh has decided to do it as well.
He is confidently doing L1 and saying "this is great".

He doesn't know what is awaiting him on L2.

I missed a day yesterday, but will be carrying on today. And it look as if I'll be in the house a lot this weekend, so will be shredding regularly!

LavendarHony - have you looked into Callanetics? It's gentle stretches but AMAZING for strength and toning, I can send you links if you like. I do a lot of it on my non shred days

l2d3 today. I don't seem to be getting that I want to die feeling like I was expecting. I think there seems to be bigger pauses between changing over moves. I'm really struggling with these lunge backwards then forward things. Not physically I don't think, just the coordination Grin

Wow very brave. I got a sports bra but was still holding them with one arm for skipping and jacks. I found a sports crop top bra type thing in primark the other day £4 and over the bra works wonders. I hope it's just because I'm still bf'ing ds they need this much support Hmm

Yes cafe it's quite annoying having to listen to her again at the start of level 2 whereas before I just got on with it in front of the telly. On the bright side we have no more about the neck not being invited

I skipped it yesterday. Just done L2D2 and with the proper weights I bought yesterday (only 1kg but that is 400g more than the water bottles i was using up to now). I struggle with the plank squat thing and the plank jacks and the high knees and those side twist jumps and as for double jump rope just forget it! Very much with Anita apart from depth of lunges . Also I don't find L2 flows so well but perhaps when I am more familiar r with the exercises it will be better.

On the subject of sports bras, does anyone else think that Natalie has had a boob job?

Perhaps I should concentrate more on getting to the end of the exercise segment and less on what everyone else is doing (I am very easily distracted).

ScarletLady02 , I am well endowed, so the shred would get messy fast if I didn't wear one! The shock absorber sports bras are really good.

I've never really noticed Natalies boobs, but I'll have to check them out when do the shred in a bit. Grin

I've noticed that the shred has got way easier, but I also thing that quitting smoking has made a huge difference. Before quitting I used to be coughing and wheezing and I'd feel like I was going to die.

Scarlettlady, I am doing the tummy callenetics from an old book I got off eBay:) but please send me your links as any extra really helps. Will just doing the callenetics help get rid of my giant world class entry muffin top?

Can anyone post some motivating toning weight loss round tummy over the last week or so? I need a bit of direction and a big stick- am doing the ny low carb woe too, which I like, just need to get back into it. I have liked being off and have found time has expanded to fill my excerise time.

L2D3 done! getting easier,just. Only 1kg weights but I have always had strong legs and feeble arms.

Ok, had a burst of energy and did l1 and the 6p6w. Feel better already, am going to plan my week so I can find the time each day. It's very hard, and I don't feel like it at night by the time the dc are in bed and I have tidied I just want to lay down:)
I use 1 kg weights, trainers and a really good sports bra, plus I wear gym gear, all alone in the bedroom:)

Hmmm.. I still haven't shredded, not since Tuesday I think Shock I'm terrible- motivate me! quick! I have 2 or 3 days of L1 left to do before I start L2.. think the monotony got to me. I know they're meant to be consecutive days but I'm not starting at the beginning again Grin Now I've just quit. If I don't restart now I never will..

Done L2 today, day 4.
I am getting better but still can't do planky abs twist so am doing crunchies instead.

Done mine for the day, shred and 6w6p- Just have the callenetics to do now. Im going to do l2 tomorrow. I am nt sure how I found the time, just ran for bedroom after shopping with dd, got changed and stuck on the iPad. She is quite helpful, counting my jumps etc.
I can do pressups! I wish I still couldn't they are horrible!

tbh after only a week of doing it I noticed some difference, it seemed to work that fast at toning- right... remotivated.... will be back - have nice sundays everyone!
