princesspeahead · 12/01/2004 21:29

oh dear do I have to do a forfeit if I put on? (I should say "when" I put on.
What is matalan? Sounds like bullfighting

150percent · 12/01/2004 21:30

I think that I'm on the wrong diet now

Breakfast: Sultana Bran
Lunch: crudites with houmous
Dinner: M&S lamb thing with couscous - some 380 cals...
Also some more celery as needed something to munch...

If I'd known that sausages and mash and haagen-dazs were part of a slimmer's diet, then life would be much more fun...

Do you have to go to classes to be part of WW (assuming that it is WW who allow the above goodies?) All of my local ones were at naff times unless I take ds2.

And how many dh's are joining in? Dh ate a bacon sarnie in front of me today - is this the sort of unreasobale behaviour that entitles me to a divorce?

Hulababy · 12/01/2004 21:32

150percent - I did have veggie sausages so only 1 point each. Low fat pork ones are 2.5.

My DH is joining in and has about the same about to lose as me. Trouble is I get 18 points a day and he gets 30

codswallop · 12/01/2004 21:34

divorce deffo - that would make you lose weight!

PPh matalan is a cheapi shop.

Hmmm, don't know how I am doing this week. Today I have eaten one small low fat greek yoghurt with a drizzle of honey and a banana, lunch was pea soup with bacon creme fraiche, 1 1/2 slices of bread with a scraping of butter, two milkyways with a cup of tea in the afternoon, dinner was marinaded spare ribs (I know not the most low fat of meats, I had them in the freezer, bought them weeks ago) and coucous salad with low fat greek yoghurt dressing.

When I write it down it doesn't look too bad, I just FEEL FAT TODAY!!!!!!!

150percent · 12/01/2004 21:58

Coddy, not me - I eat in times of crises: that's what got me to this size

So hang on, dh's have a similar amount to lose but get to eat almost double the amount - I'm amazed that you're all not throttling them...

As for veggie sausages, suddenly don't sound quite as appetising - liked the ribs though.

I have these horrible electronic scales that measure by the 1/4 lb, so I know that I haven't lost anything since last Thursday.... Still a few more days to go...

melsy · 13/01/2004 09:20

Ill not add it to the chart until Thursday so could you email me again with it then so I can keep track?:

melsy · 13/01/2004 09:48

Ok well do .Thank you soo much Becca. I feel afraid to be proud incase it goes back on!!But I should use it as an incentive to keep going.

MY size14 jeans are hanging off me, YEAH. Still cant get into my 12's though becos of bulges, but I hope it will go down a bit in a few weeks. I HAVE TO get into my little black power suit & a cocktail dress for a wedding!!!

I am going to try and reduce some of my days points and not use them , to see if I can shift some more. Dont worry wont go below 14pts.

Hulababy · 13/01/2004 10:07

Well done Melsy!

melsy · 13/01/2004 10:13

Forgot to say that I had everything with salad and fresh lemon juice and salt. Is that good or what. Cant believe I have been able to do this. Never in a million yrs did I think I could. Juts goes to show u , if u can get through pregnancy labour & childberth. Then this should be a doddle. Dont mean to sound to upbeat if some of you are finding it harder, I wish to be sensitive. I have had to struggle and will probably continue to on other days, Soo heres to all of you. YOU GO GIRLS, it feels fab when it starts to come off in ernest. Cant wait to post I have lost a stone in total. Give me a month!!!!!

Demented · 13/01/2004 10:17

Brilliant Melsy!!!

I must admit to popping on the scales this morning (Tues was originally my weigh-in) and I've lost 2lbs too (goodness knows how). I am pleased because I was feeling very fat yesterday, I just hope I don't put any back on before the official weigh-in.

Porridge and an apple for b/fast.

All the best to everyone for today!

PS I had a glass of red wine last night too, it's amazing how that escaped my memory.

melsy · 13/01/2004 10:19
