OP posts:
Mingle · 13/01/2004 18:55

Didn't see any bananas, but I wasn't really looking for them. They sound disgusting!

There was sizzling ostrich...

princesspeahead · 13/01/2004 19:30

not really. mind you I've only had a bowl of mushroom soup today. oh, and a pear. dh isn't around this evening so I'm trying to persuade myself to go and cook something otherwise I'll just pick at unsuitable things and end up making a cheese toastie...

I did do a very strenuous 1 hour pilates workout today though. My instructor kept saying "5 more....[and when I had done 5 more and was ready to collapse in a heap] actually can you do another 5 of those?" ow

Ailsa · 13/01/2004 19:43

The cheeseburger was yesterday tea-time after my first day back at work, and it was only 1.

Hulababy · 13/01/2004 20:38

melsy · 13/01/2004 20:43

Heres the chicken thing Coddy , sorry for delay sister had emergency at her house back now & dinner was ready when I came back!!:

1)fry onions & garlic in casserole on hob with spray oil stuff
2)add skinless chicken breast to seal.
3)Once golden , add tin of tomatos, some tomato puree,a stock cube & fresh herbs ; rosemary, thyme whatever you like.
4)You can also add wine here if u have the points(omit if not)!!!
5)Throw in cubed swede, carrots red onions, leeks & any other veg u like. You can also add tats but that makes it 6.5 points with the wine as apposed to 3.5 withought.
6)Bring to the boil and then simmer for 2 hrs until all mushy and soft.
ENJOY

melsy · 13/01/2004 20:45

Can u take nurofen also Hulababy?? I did with mastitis. You've had that a while now , are you a bit rundown. I get neuralgia so I know how horrible that pain is. Hope you feel better soon.

Hulababy · 13/01/2004 20:53

Melsy - I am alternating nurofen and paracetamol, and having a daily Olbas Oil steam bath. Only went to doctors today, thought it was aheavy cold. That's why it got worse. On the up with tablets now though.
