Your worse than Coddy!!!!

Have to go now anyway to feed little dd, so will go to bed.

Goodnight all. Thanks for stopping my binge tonight Nearlymybeetrootday, does that mean what I think it does????!!!!

Demented · 10/01/2004 23:13

I wouldn't worry either Pops, I have a top recommended weight of 11st 6lbs and am generally happy enough at about the 11st even slightly over. I think I would look positively skeletal at the lowest recommended weight of 8st 6lbs, as long as you are within the recommended weight and happy with yourself, I wouldn't stress about it.

Demented · 10/01/2004 23:14

Oh beetroot's terrible Melsy, far worse than Coddy, you should try joing her sit-ups club!

Demented · 10/01/2004 23:14

joining even

Lisa78 · 10/01/2004 23:18

that site doesn't take your general body frame into account does it? I have quite a small frame and hover at the lower end of the recommended weights (when not overweight that is )

Beccarollover · 11/01/2004 09:34

How had everyone managed now that Friday and Saturday are out of the way?

I slipped up a bit with a chinese last night but had saved quite a few points for it but still dont like doing it - feels like Im cheating even if Im not necessarily IYKWIM

What is your plan for Sunday lunch?

Beccarollover · 11/01/2004 09:35

I'm SO not drinking enough water - Im terrible for that and think it would make HUGE difference if I just pulled my finger out and did it! Sometimes I get to late afternoon and realised Ive had NOTHING to drink all day - not good

Hulababy · 11/01/2004 09:37

Doing fine, even had soem wine Friday and Saturday and kept within my daily amounts. I have 12 points saved towards my meal out - Italian - this lunch time too.

Beccarollover · 11/01/2004 09:41

oooo Hulababy - enjoy it wont you - yum could quite fancy italian meal.

melsy · 11/01/2004 09:41

I read in the waitrose mag that we dont need 2litres , that it has been proven incorrect as it doesnt take into accpunt all the water foundin the food we eat, esp fruit & veg???

zippy539 · 11/01/2004 12:48

Hulababy -thanks for the knicker info. I'm off to M&S to try some on! Anything to avoid sit ups...

applepie · 11/01/2004 15:14

Hi, doing OK I think - I'm not disciplined enough like most of you to do any formal points/weigh diet scheme so am taking the Ann Widdecombe stance of 'eat less, exercise more' (I do feel that I should point out that she's not a heroine of mine although I did enjoy a book of hers). Although early days, its working so far; probably as I had got a few bad habits of snacking between meals, man-size portion of food and no exercise!

The weekly weigh-in is really helping me as I don't want to lose face, even though I don't know you all it is helping to motivating me, so thanks to you all for keeping up with the motivational messages and support.

Better dash - dh taken ds1+2 to his Mum's so I can get some jobs done around the house, (monsoon wedding soundtrack blasting out the speakers ) so I'd better show willing...

Hulababy · 11/01/2004 19:07

I did really well at the Italian. I had pasta with a fresh vegatable and tomato sauce. No garlic bread or starter, and no wine. It is heping as I feel so lousy with really painful sinus trouble.

codswallop · 12/01/2004 09:34

sunday lunch. I had chicken and veg (grated celeriac, carrots and sweded steamed) you cna have mounds of this!

WIll have some with gravy for lunch - good shovelling food IMO.

BR you should become a ww leader...Yiu look glam and are very motivational - without being unkind (blush)

Can I just put in a special mention of my DH? He did his weigh in this evening for me and in his first week he's lost 4 pounds. He has done really well and stuck to all the guidelines I set him for lunches and hasn't snacked at all.

CountessDracula · 12/01/2004 19:44

OH god I've put on 3 lbs in the past week. V annoying as can't exercise due to GF. Will just have to eat less as am off to beach in 2 weeks and look like a tellytubby Will use this thread for inspiration!

codswallop · 12/01/2004 19:47

How is that men seem to get compliments when losing weight so much more often/quicker than women?

Well done to your Dh too.

codswallop · 12/01/2004 19:50
