We managed to fill the thread before the end of the week, so I'm starting the next one.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness for you to record your weight tomorrow

Welcome pip! Definitely full fat. The best one I've tried is Total - but make sure you buy the right one. The packaging isn't the clearest, and I've ended up with the 0% fat one by mistake before! Lidl, apparently, makes a good one, but I don't have a Lidl close enough to get there to try it.

NotAgain Why are you snacking on nuts and chocolate in Bootcamp?!

BigBroomstickBIWI · 13/10/2012 11:13

Shiney - realised I didn't answer your question about switching from low calorie to low carbing. Partly this is because I simply don't know the answer! I've googled, but all that I can seem to find is info about switching the other way, i.e. from low carb to low calorie.

It might be worth just experimenting - especially if your daily diet is high in carbs. However, as a low carb diet is (generally) higher in calories, it's difficult to say if you will lose or not!

And lots of carbs in Quorn!

I went out for my birthday last night and it wasn't perfect.

B - yoghurt, black coffee
snack - couple of slices of ham
L - chorizo and salad, tiny tiny bite of bread.
D - fish and chips, but I didn't have the batter and I only had a tiny tiny portion of chips.

Glass and a half of wine. Blush

I'm bad.

I do have a cracking hangover (how?!) to punish me for the wine, though.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 13/10/2012 11:32

Happy birthday, LRD!

Thank you! Grin

(It's actually monday, but I will be genteel and celebrate quietly with DH that day.)

vnmum · 13/10/2012 12:12

Just been to town to get my weekly supply of olives Smile

Prawn mayo with salad, avocado and olives for lunch.
Fry up for tea

A belt that was neat on the tightest hole earlier in the week is now loose on the tightest hole Smile

Doshusallie · 13/10/2012 12:48

MORE cauliflower soup for lunch and a couple of "sandwiches" of cucumber and pâté.

Have just made the boys a broccoli, pea, chicken, bacon and onion bake with cheese sauce of cheese, mustard, cream and more cheese, for their tea tonight.

Cross because the shoes I ordered from next haven't arrived and I wanted to wear them to the party we are going to tonight.... Angry. I guess this is what is known as a 1st world problem?

BigBroomstickBIWI · 13/10/2012 12:59

Hmm. That link is to a dress!

Doshusallie · 13/10/2012 14:07

Oops. Bought that as well. Blush

These shoes

Doshusallie · 13/10/2012 14:08

They are low carb shoes honest. Low carb, but high risk of neck breakedness.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 13/10/2012 14:16

Wow! Those are way too high lovely

PMSL @ low carb shoes Grin

I bought these yesterday.

They make my legs look long and thin, which is fine by me!

Doshusallie · 13/10/2012 14:32

Nice biwi. They look perfect wear for big stick brandishing type activity.

Poppy1234 · 13/10/2012 14:37

Gorgeous shoes and boots. BIWI I love ankle boots, especially with dresses or tunics, much fresher look than longer boots. There was much excitement at the fruit and vegetable stall at the market today as they had spaghetti squash, cannot wait to try it, have fingers crossed it isn't too carby probably should check.

B: Greek yoghurt
L: Bacon, halloumi and avocado salad
D: Steak, gorgonzola sauce, creamed spinach and swede (either mash or sauté). Cannot tell you how excited I am about this dinner. Will probably have a few mussels today as I'm doing mussels and sweet potato frites for children's tea.

Collywibbles · 13/10/2012 15:00

Oooh am loving the fashion links! I am hopeless - skinny jeans / tunic top and long boots are my staple wardrobe. I love those boots BIWI but am chunky of calf so they would probably look awful on me. Not sure I could walk in those heels without breaking my ankle Dosh but they look fabulous!

Fab breakfast out today at local farm shop - I swapped my hash brown for my husbands mushrooms - fried in butter - yummy!
Lunch - um just realised the time and not had anything yet .....
Supper - chicken wrapped in bacon with celeriac creamy cheesy thingy

Don't drink so not tempted at the weekend (although I did buy some 85% choc.....)

halfthesize · 13/10/2012 15:11

Hi all,

Loving the shoes.

Due to both being very busy, DH hadn't really seen me nekkid since last weekend until this morning, and he said in a (very) surprised tone that I definitely looked slimmer. Also surprised cos its my TOTM (day 2/3) and I'm not as bloated insanely angry and shouty as usual. Then I saw a friend in town I've not seen for about 3 weeks and she commented off her own bat that I was looking well and svelte (was wearing a long jersey type top that is very fitting) so I am feeling very chuffed!!

B slice of ham (in rush to get out for sat activities)
L in cafe, cheese and ham omelette. Delicious. Asked for salad instead of toast. It did come with what looked suspiciously like a drizzle of balsamic but I wolfed it (my excuse is trying to encourage Ds to see green food as good, not just plate decoration and I'm sticking to it )

D chicken probably, have some Parma ham to wrap and will do veggies on side.

Good luck for the weekend everyone, be strong!! Smile

cathyandclaire · 13/10/2012 16:39

Fab shoes!!!!

WineGless · 13/10/2012 17:46

Jesus, what a day.

3, yes 3 children's birthday parties. Commenced at 1100 and just home now.
I had a sandwich at the last one just because I was hungry and hadn't brought anything with me. Poor planning.
I had cheese and mushroom omlette at 9am and thought it would keep me going.
Have suffered with it though and reinforces the fact I don't want to eat bread no matter how convenient it is.

Well done losers

captainmummy · 13/10/2012 17:56

BIWI - what a lovely little 'gold' dress! Love it. My xmas party dress this year I bought in the charity shop sales in january!

B - nothing, only a coffee with cream before tackling the garden before winter - and just before it hailed thunderously!
L - greek salad - watercress, cucumber,1 tomato, olives and feta. Greek yog.

D - made Thai-red-curry soup, with 1 chicken thigh, broc, cauli, leek, 1 carrot. The curry-spice jar said 8g/100 carbs,(used 200g) but I made a huge saucepan, and will only eat quarter of it.

halfthesize · 13/10/2012 18:17

Love that dress BIWI you will be the belle of the ballSmile

HumphreyCobbler · 13/10/2012 18:44

great dress BIWI. Love it.

I am posting on here now because I am sorely tempted by some chocolate cake, and I will now have the power to resist it because I have confessed all Grin

AuntieMaggie · 13/10/2012 18:48

Lovely dress BIWI I'm very jealous.

How many carbs make a sausage low carb?
