We managed to fill the thread before the end of the week, so I'm starting the next one.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness for you to record your weight tomorrow

Sorry to hear you're poorly, Willie. Keep warm and rested - hope you're better soon!

Down another 1/4lb, so 9.9 today - hoping that by tomorrow the scales might show I've broken into 9.8 something!

NewStartSameStory · 10/10/2012 07:51

Hope you feel better soon Willie!

Today is going to be a R.I.C.E kinda day. Will have to concentrate to break associated bad eating habits.

MmeLindor · 10/10/2012 08:09

Another day with no loss. Not moved since before the weekend - surely I should be seeing some weightloss now.

I'm sticking pretty much to plan- only one glass of wine on Mon evening and other than that was ok.

Might have been the cesar salad dressing last night, I suppose.

And tomorrow we are off to PILs for weekend. Doubt I'll be able to carry on there, so might take a break and start anew on mon (without going totally mad and gorging on carbs)

Thought I might try to cut down carbs over the weekend - should be easy enough, they are meat and 2 veg kind of cooks - keep off the sweets and cakes etc, and see how that goes. So not total bootcamp but not going back to previous eating habits.

halfthesize · 10/10/2012 08:14

Morning all, just a quick drop in before school runs and the gym.

Willie sorry you are not feeling great, get better soon x

Weight the same today, but intend to work hard at the gym, so fingers crossed for tomorrowSmile

TooImmatureGhostiesAndGhoulies · 10/10/2012 08:41

Hello all! I have had a very bad weekend, but it was my birthday. Yesterday would have been good had I not remembered about some milk chocolate truffles. I put 4lbs back on but one has come off again today. I've put my Saturday morning weight on the spreadsheet (before the carb-fest began) and hopefully I can get back down to it by Monday. Right, off to feed DD the last bagel and then there will be no more tempting carbs in the house!

B: Greek yoghurt (Co-op, not Total, so I think it's a bit higher in carbs than usual)

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 10/10/2012 08:55

Im still here... lurking with intent! Grin

Oven man is here to clean oven so cant get into kitchen until he is gone, then I am going to have some scrambled egg.

Isnt it marvellous that a man comes and cleans ones oven? I love it. Its the little things in life...

cathyandclaire · 10/10/2012 08:55

Was horribly picky yesterday...back and for to the cheese stash in the fridge
and the macademias Blush but kept it low carb so not a total disaster. Got back on track with a proper evening meal and cooked lots to keep me going today
Yesterday supper: Asparagus frittata
Today: B: Fried egg and mushrooms
L:Braised white cabbage with bacon
D:Butterflied pork shoulder and celeriac dauphinois ( looking forward to trying this, it's tempting me in the fridge Grin have so far resisted digging a spoon in)
0.6lb off since Monday...I know that could just be a big wee but it's a step in the right direction!

Jacaqueen · 10/10/2012 09:11

I just can't keep up with the thread.

Lots of lovely recipe ideas so thanks for that.

Sorry so many of you are feeling ill. I had some diet Fanta gently heated in the microwave with some paracetamol last week. Has all sorts of nasties in it but no carbs.

Good luck with the job vnmum. When will you hear?

Mme Lindor flying can make you retain water so it could be that.

I am just kind of plodding along. Another pound off so that makes 3 in total. School breaks up for half term on Friday and we will be away for the week. I really wanted to lose half a stone in the first 2 weeks of Bootcamp to give myself a little leeway but I don't see that happening.

Doshusallie · 10/10/2012 09:22

Pound off today so back to 9 2 yay.

Am about to make the braised cabbage for tonight, didn't get round to it yesterday.

Can I have the recipe for celeriac dauphinoise please?

Greek yoghurt for breakfast, berocca and a DTWLFM.

EwanHoozami · 10/10/2012 09:49

I'm due on and have a stinking cold Angry

But am I going to fall into a vat of carbs? Hell, no.

B: wilted spinach wrapped in parma ham
L: tinned salmon and egg with coleslaw
S: toasted chilli kale (AMAZING)
D: roast chicken salad

I do have some 90% choc if things get dire though

foosty sorry that you're feeling despondent. Are things, erm moving for you? Y'know, in the deposit department? (The things I ask strangers on t'internet Grin ) I ask because when I started I didn't lose much until I sorted that out.

Doshusallie · 10/10/2012 09:49

Jessica when you reheated the braised cabbage later in the day did you do it in the oven or back on the hob? Shall I just leave it in the pan I have cooked it in and stick it back in the hob later? Sorry I am no Nigella.....

NotAgainAndAgain · 10/10/2012 09:50

WineGlass thanks for mim recipe, I'll get linseed next shopping.
Braised cabbage got so many thumbs up, I'll try it tonight.
I'll have breakfast now - LC sausage, mushrooms+scramble egg.
I wish everyone stay well, colds started in school, I would hate cold with no orange juice Sad

WineGless · 10/10/2012 10:17

Not again You are welcome. The trick is to enjoy the food you're eating Because if you don't you won't stick with the way of eating

I've just had a pint of berocca Bleurgh! Think I will stick to multivitamin tablets

I've just had bacon egg mushrooms I'm on my way to the gym Before I late shift at work. Hope you all have a good day

cathyandclaire · 10/10/2012 10:28

Here it is..I found it by googling but it was attributed to BIWI (she is the low carb guru Grin)
Celeriac Dauphinoise
1 celeriac peeled and sliced thinly
200mls of double cream
salt and pepper
sliced onion or leek (I used shallot)
Grated mature cheddar

Butter an oven proof dish, layer slices of celeriac and slices of leek or onion, add a bit of salt and pepper, pour over cream, top with grated cheese, cook in middle of medium oven for 1 hour til soft

dotty2 · 10/10/2012 10:37

Am feeling grim today and no weight lost since Friday. Sigh. Still determined though. Mix of gk and soya yog first thing then 2 boiled eggs and little bit of ham now. Am constipated, headachey and fed up.

What's a Dlwtfm?

BigBroomstickBIWI · 10/10/2012 10:47

MmeLindor - apologies if I have got this wrong, but my impression from your recent posts is that you are weighing on different scales, and had estimated your start weight - which will not really be giving you a reliable weight or weight loss.

Also, you haven't really been Bootcamping, have you?! The 'slip up' here and there will be the reason why weight loss is minimal.

Happy to be corrected if my impressions are wrong ... Grin

OP posts:
MmeLindor · 10/10/2012 10:51

Hmm, you could be right BIWI. I forgot that I changed scales. And I have been mainly sticking to bootcamp except the wine

Will see how I get on this weekend, and try to limit carbs as much as possible - am only going to be eating at PILs on Sat really cause I'm at the Book Fair on Friday, and we come back home on Sunday.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 10/10/2012 10:53

'Mainly'?! So not, then ...

Bootcamp rules are there for a reason!

OP posts:
MmeLindor · 10/10/2012 10:55

sorry BIWI

frumpet · 10/10/2012 11:17

frumpet · 10/10/2012 11:20

vnmum · 10/10/2012 11:25

wille and ewan hope you are feeling better soon, and anyone else who is under the weather.
I feel that my immune system is alot stronger since I gave up the wheat and grains.

Did a kettlebell swing workout after school run.
No breakfast as not hungry in mornings and I like to work out fasted.
Lunch will be tuna mayo, homemade guacamole and salsa, salad and olives
Tea is curry with cauli rice.

I am a nervous wreck today waiting for news on this job but I think I won't here anything until tomorrow at the earliest. I will be so gutted if I'm not successful.

Boobz · 10/10/2012 11:35

Did Bikram yoga for the first time today - was awesome!

Have lost another lb since Monday. Get in!
