We've nearly grown out of the last thread here so i started the new one.

We're all doing different things but we're all here to support each other on the journey. We kick each other when we need it and offer sympathy when that's more appropriate.

Hi dingle hope everyone is ok.

icb I am plotting my weight and waist on a free app I downloaded (before I downloaded mfp) and might start to do other measurements. I've heard that sometimes you can stay the same weight but still lose inches so it's good to do both. I am pleased that with a weight loss of 6 lb my waist has lost 2 inches.

(so pleased in fact that I bought a size 14 skirt and top today and both fitted. Annoyed at spending the money but I will make myself live in them!)

jeans tea does count, I think? I mainly drink tea when not drinking copious amounts of wine

A meet up would be brill, youcan and i had a good old chat today and I am sure we would all get along famously!

Off to eat the weight watchers sausage sauce thing I bought today! Will give me strength for the massive pile of marking I need to do after mini goons bath.

I was a bit surprised myself, I tried on about six size 14 clothes in a couple of shops and they all fitted. Clearly I'm on the upper end but they weren't too tight, I wasn't holding in my breath or anything. My next goal is to fit into my pre dd2 jeans. They're a 14 too but still too tight.

Ooh sausages. Sounds yummy. Dh has a bad cold (man flu) so lots of soup this week.

Ive been away since Friday and went out to eat twice and 2 takeaways too so not too good , but i am back on it now
I think ill leave weighing until next week though as i wasnt here to weigh yesterday and will feel better if i wait a week and try and minimise the damage!
On the plus side i have had more exercise as walked more and generally been more active at least

I still have our house move saturday to get through , which wont be easy to be healthy round but ill do my best

That's a good idea about the measuring waists too....it is definitely true that if you put on muscle you will weight more but of course measure less and be healthier although I am pretty sure Im not in that camp :(

Hello all. I am back. My scales are broken or i went from gaining a pound on sun morning to losing 3 at night. Hmmmm. Excited that people are meeting up. I'm in little ol west yorkshire though. Anyone near me? Now english apple season. Is here, i'm finding it much easier to be good. I'm a good 14 now and if by a miracle i can get down to a 12 by xmas, i'll feel i can enjoy some yummy treats.

Hiya folks - meet ups will be really good for everyone's self motivation! I was rubbish yesterday as I had friends round for a slap up meal but honestly want to get make to eating properly as it makes me feel ill. Lots of good choices now until Monday as have nothing else coming up!!

Hi Resi. We nearly moved to lovely Bailden. We lived in Bradford. We moved and now i miss the curry we're now about 2 mins from junction 32 and xscape. So if you ever come shopping let me know and i'd love to meet for a coffee :) very jealous! I love Baildon

You should come for curry! I know all the best places :-). Maybe meeting for coffee would be better for our waistlines tho....

Completely fec up here and nearly quit it all

My van ( wheelchair access one ) went to go out today not starting lifted bonest up and in the last 4 days something has chewed right through fuel wires and fan wires etc
Luckily is motorabilty so covered but it's going be 3-4 weeks before repaire meantime they offered us s ford focus which I lol at since you can't even get one wheelchair in boot let alone mine and ds2 . And when out I use a powerchair

So Im stuck going anywhere other than local or getting a train

I gone to bed because otherwise all crap be eaten then I would be seriously fed up for spoiling diet so I eat more

Oh Human that is really shit!! Obviously get food and stuff delivered online...can you get a wheelchair access taxi anywhere?? I cannot believe they think a focus is an acceptable substitute. It is an impossible car for a wheelchair user.

Maybe some irate phone calls are in order??

Well, I've had a piece of chocolate cake! But I didn't have any dinner because there wasn't enough to go round! And we've just been to the fair . I only went on the Ferris wheel (and hated it!). It's thick with mud there and I have a pile of muddy trousers to clean now. Good fun for dc though.
