This is a thread for those who are pig sick of over eating and binging and have decided enough is enough.

There will be no excuses on this thread...no 'oh but I was due my period' or 'oh but it was left over so I finished it' etc

IF you need to have a nice meal as part of a celebration DO IT but no more excuses - have the meal and move on.

This is a thread for the brave.....this is a thread for the serious. Join at your peril.....

Monday mornings are weigh in - so that we cannot binge on the weekends. I am deliberately being hard on myself and if you want to do it to please join. Even if someone wafts wine and banoffee pie under my nose I will not have it - even if the world is going to end I WILL NOT HAVE IT

weigh in Monday morning and post here

Oh and drink some wine and eat some choc while you still can because on Monday you will be in hell angry

Hello, my name is Mavis and I have developed an acute overeating habit. I really need to be three stone lighter. I really need to locate my willpower. I really need this thread smile.

I need to get a few confessions out there if I may:

1) When discussing weight with friends I frequently (always) knock at least a stone, sometimes two off my actual weight

2) I order secret pizzas. Sometimes several times a week. I alternate between pizza delivery companies as I am so ashamed they recognise me blush. Not just a pizza, but sides and cookies too. For lunch. While I am home alone with the kids. It is really, really awful and I must stop.

3) In the last month I have bought kilo sized bars of Fruit and Nut and eaten the whole thing in one sitting, three times.

I really like healthy food. I really like being slim and fit. I know why I have got here. I eat when I am stressed, anxious and tired, of which I am a lot, most of the time, since DS was born (he has SN).

You made a good decision ( I am not normally like this just trying to take it all seriously grin)

I also need to lose 3 stone so I feel we could get on very well indeed. I buy chocolate and stuff my face with it, I can eat a whole family sized cake in an evening too.

This is exactly what I need. I ate an entire bag of some berry jellies last night and as I finished the bag I just though to my self how ridiculous I am doing that.

This morning I decided I can't really trust my own mind with food, so decision made.

What ever my first thoughts are for a meal, I will have half that amount.

No ifs, ands or buts from me.

Goal here is 10 stone also.

I really need this ,I have no will power and have to have another hip op in the spring ,losing weight would make everything so much easier.I also want to get down to about 10 stone which is about 2 stone for me

I've just got to breaking point on the weight front, so think this might be a good motivator.

I just did a kg/stone conversion and was horrified to have hit the 12 stone mark (previously only ever reached during preg) and in photos have started looking like a fat lass.

2 stone of post-baby weight to lose - 1 of which I'm pretty sure is post-BF weight where I didn't temper my man-sized portions/cake habit after I got DD off the boob.

So 10 stone target here too... (although I'd be happy with 11 as a more achievable goal)

carrot cake - How lovely of you to join us. Sounds like you too have hit breaking point.

Enough is ENOUGH - NO more huge portions necessary.

Whatever diet/ healthy eating plan we are all following the rules are that we do not cheat or binge unless for an event/ celebration etc After that meal we MOVE ON.

This sounds just what I need - just been tagged in some FB photos and, fuck me, I am a fat lass. I weigh about 14 stone and would like to get to between 11.5 - 12 stone and I WILL DO IT.

I WILL NOT BE A FAT LASS ANY MORE. IT WILL STOP.

so I may plan sunday dinner to be more like the last supper, this week! may be hard as I'm playing volleyball on Sunday afternoon.

ps if anyone used to do a sport or fancies trying a new one now really is the best time. there's loads of try it things going on- I went to volleyball last week (never played) and was good!
