We've nearly grown out of the last thread here so i started the new one.

We're all doing different things but we're all here to support each other on the journey. We kick each other when we need it and offer sympathy when that's more appropriate.

tiggy I eat a yoghurt ( waitrose low fat ones as they don't have aspartame in them) and sometimes a snack bag of dates!

tiggy114 · 20/11/2012 21:31

Gonnie i'm not the only one who avoids aspartame like the plague then? Tortoise i don't know if the lynda mcartney sausages are low fat but they are far superior to quorn ones. Even my meat eating dad likes em.

Youcanringmybell · 21/11/2012 06:58

arf @ Linda's sauages being far superior!! Grin

TheHumancatapult · 21/11/2012 09:08

Tiggy I have to agree they taste lot better

Of to see specialist today and not seen them in around a year ( mostly kerp in contact by phone) hopefully they in for a shock when wheel in ( well drive since I'm going in my powerchair )

tiggy114 · 21/11/2012 11:26

Ok so i've given myself a goal. I'm gonna say it on here then i'll be less likely to cheat as you can all check up on me. My OH is 40 in jan and we're having a surprise party on the 5 th Jan. So. I have a lovely vintage dress thats too small at the moment. I am going to aimto wear it at that party. That gives me about 8 weeks to drop a dress size to a 12. Challenge set. I. Can. Do. This. Grin

TheHumancatapult · 21/11/2012 12:04

Youcanringmybell · 21/11/2012 12:33

Tiggy - a good target!! Well done - you have fire in you I can tell ;-)

tiggy114 · 21/11/2012 17:18

I even had hagen daz next to me today (son eating it) and a tea spoon in my hand. I had 1 small taste on that spoon and thats it! Hows that for self control!!!!!Grin

FedUpOfRain · 21/11/2012 17:35

Tiggy - that's a great target, a nice occasion to aim for too!

I have had a looooong day, been up since 3am because of flooding. Luckily my actual house is ok, but car and garden are not Sad So I fully intend to enjoy a glass of wine and some chocs tonight.

Is it Friday yet?

ICBINEG · 21/11/2012 19:32

Just spent all day shopping with my DM! Normally I hate it but my new shape made the whole thing a lot more fun.

Maybe I will post a before and after shot (if I can find a before) so you can see me in new outfit...

bootsycollins · 21/11/2012 19:38

Hi everyone, I'm new (and fat), have so far managed to loose a stone and a bit with Slimming World, aiming to loose another stone by Christmas. Feeling very motivated!

Gooniechoons · 21/11/2012 21:21

TheHumancatapult · 21/11/2012 21:24

FedUpOfRain · 21/11/2012 21:46

Thanks, since the rain stopped the water levels have gone down really quickly. Just have to see what the next couple of days bring, fingers crossed!
Well done bootsy, have you been doing a particular diet? I'm hoping to have lost my second stone by Christmas too!

bootsycollins · 21/11/2012 23:16

Thanks, honestly feeling much better since ditching the sugar/chocolate/cake/sweets/crisps addiction, hoorah! I don't feel sluggish anymore!. I'm doing the extra easy choice with Slimming World, unlimited lean meat, fish, potatoes, rice, pasta, fruit, veg and eggs and it really works!. Weigh in tomorrow so hoping for a nice 2lb loss!

TheHumancatapult · 22/11/2012 05:14

Bootsy

I'm with you I don't miss sweet stuff but certain savoury food yes.

Ugg with weather turning now and being dark am finding it harder and harder to drag self out of bed early to excerscise but discovered if leave to later it does not get done and no good doing at night all I want do by then is go flop . But only 11 days till Cp and I want to be below 13.7

TheHumancatapult · 22/11/2012 06:10

And new year I want to hit 12.12

ICBINEG · 22/11/2012 10:55

goon my name is I Can't Believe It's Not E. G. where E and G stand for my previous MN name that I had when I was a member a while ago.

It has been nice to see how many old friends recognised me!

I hadn't realised how germanic it sounded until people started calling me ICH!

Youcanringmybell · 22/11/2012 12:44

I always remember your name as iceburg...

ICBINEG · 22/11/2012 13:06

ohhh I can live with iceburg!

ICBINEG · 22/11/2012 13:08

What are people planning to do about xmas?

I want to be realistic without being miserable and counting all the way through...

I also fear that if I just eat what I normally would I will be ill. I had a big mac yesterday (sounds stupid but was the only calorie counted thing I could get) and have been ill ever since...

TheHumancatapult · 22/11/2012 13:42

ICB

I'm fortunate Xmas is easy as me and dc they not like roast we have pizza . Tbh in my case I'm going to try sticking to my diet but I'm rather one tracked mind I admit ( otherwise I fail miserably )

Youcanringmybell · 22/11/2012 16:13

I plan to enjoy it! I find January quite motivational as you are usually sick of food by then and everyone around is trying to lose a few pounds! I am waiting for fresh inspiration to get me because at the moment I am falling into the 'I don't mind being a 14/16' group again. Goddammit.
