Well, week 15 of Bootcamp has just ended. But the support and banter will continue! I, for one, am carrying on for the next couple of weeks until my holiday, in the hope that I can drop another pound or so before I go.

There have been some brilliant losses in the last two weeks, so I'm hoping that you'll all be sticking with it too!

Evening all Smile

Brunch- sausage, 2 eggs and mushrooms

Dinner- chicken with italian seasoning and salad :)

However: i did snack on 4 choc buttons whilst watching ice age at the cinema!

Id like my weight loss to start increasing a bit more so no more of that!! I realise im in week 4 at the mo so it prob wont do much at the moment! X

Thegoddessblossom · 08/08/2012 22:09

bugger just lost long post.

Tea was broccolli bol. See what I did there? Grin

DS's party went with a bang - kids ate mountains of pizza as did the adults there. My sister, who is doing WW, asked me how I could resist a slice. It genuinely didn't occur to me to have one. It's bread. I don't eat bread. Simples.

Tomorrow night should be interesting - out with work for drinks......Hmm

Vnmum - Sad that must be so difficult for you all.

sybilfaulty · 08/08/2012 23:02

VNmum - huge hugs. That must be very hard. It is small comfort to think of how FABULOUS you will look on his return, but you will and we will all be here to support you through in the meantime.

I did look longingly at DH's chocolate in the fridge tonight, but not enough to eat it. I too have the "I don't do bread" thing. Also crisps, which used to be one of my favourite things, though with porkers, I can manage. Can't go without wine though completely. Had a couple of glasses tonight and feel rather pissed mellow. Clearly am still a cheap date Smile.

mummyduff · 08/08/2012 23:17

Vnmum feel for you and I'm sure u Will beyour target for DH s return. X.

I had some gammon and water for dinner, but still feel very sick.....

Night all x

jan2011 · 09/08/2012 07:11

sorry you feel sick mummy i hope you feel better soon - not nice

vnmum aw poor u - i hope the absence makes the heart fonder in your case and you find new interesting things to occupy you when he is away, i think you look fantastic as you are but its good to have a goal in mind

dad is doing well so far, he still wants to have a tiny bit of milk with coffee though, and mostly has decaf. i made him chicken and veg stir fry last night with salad and he loved it, i am going home today i really hope he gets on well

i have added in a few more carby veg to see what effects it is going to have - sweetcorn (yes i know very carby but that is what mum had ready) and some carrot and parsnips more often so i hope all goes well with it.

Badvoc · 09/08/2012 07:24

I am having problems with all the fat :(
I have gallstones and I was in agony on Tuesday night...my first pain since. Y initial attack 2 years ago.
I know fat is supposed to be bad for gallstones but I was hoping it wouldn't affect me.
So.
Will stay low carbing, particularly not rating wheat and sugar which I am convinced are the baddies for me.
Also going to do the 5:2 fasting thing that was on tv.
Fingers crossed!
Am also still really constipated despite taking husks....and eating shedloads of salad and veg :(

LookBehindYou · 09/08/2012 09:02

Perhaps ease up on the husks Badvoc and drink lots of water. Water and excercise usually does it for me.

TeamGBIWI · 09/08/2012 09:13

Badvoc - sorry to hear you're in pain Sad

If you're constipated and nothing else is working, get yourself to Thorntons and buy some of their sugar-free (diabetic) toffee. Or their sugar-free chocolate.

Don't eat all of it in one go, but if you eat half a bag of toffee or half a bar of chocolate, the polyols will kick in and should help you.

You'll know they are working when your stomach starts to make the most peculiar noises!

TeamGBIWI I'm just being nosy, but what does your name mean?

clare8allthepies · 09/08/2012 09:27

Hi everyone, weather was lovely here yesterday (for a blooming change) so am banking on a repeat performance today and taking DD for a picnic!
Boiled eggs and chicken for me, sandwich and yogurt for DD and veg sticks, dips and cheese for both of us! Smile
Hope the sun shines for you all today! Clare x

TeamGBIWI · 09/08/2012 09:31

My original posting name was BecauseImWorthIt - and gradually people started to refer to me as BIWI (because it's a bit of a boring name to have to type in full!).

And then, about a year or so ago, a new (?) poster popped up, called BecauseImperfect, who had - to say the least - some very dubious views. I really didn't want people to think that the posts she/he were making were anything to do with me, so that was the point at which I switched to BIWI.

TeamGBIWI · 09/08/2012 09:33

Barbecue for us this evening - perfect for low carbing. Not sure if it's just DH and I or if the boys will be with us as well. Usual staples for us will be:

halloumi with lemon, garlic and coriander dressing
prawns on skewers (marinated in olive oil, lime, garlic and chilli)
sausages
possibly some fillet steak or some pork - don't know/depends what's in the shop

OP posts:
Thegoddessblossom · 09/08/2012 11:04

Still 9 1. So happy.

b: 3 egg ham omelette.

emmak86 · 09/08/2012 11:40

Morning Smile

B- 2 bacon, 2 eggs scrambles and mushroom
L- will be: chicken salad

Will decide dinner later... Hope the sun stays shining for us all Grin

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/08/2012 11:40

10 stone 3.5! Only half a lb to go and I will have lost 10% of my starting weight. Then 10 stone is my next goal, then 9 stone 11 for a BMI of 25. The goals are nice and close together atm. The goal after that is to be thinner than my twin sister 9 stone.

emmak86 · 09/08/2012 12:40

Well done TITD Grin

TeamGBIWI · 09/08/2012 12:51

emmak86 · 09/08/2012 15:35

goddess i hope you have a fan at your desk!
Its looking ok for the rest of the week here so theres still time for you yet Smile x

NotMostPeople · 09/08/2012 15:35

Im back from holiday having gone well and truly off this woe. I was astounded by how bonkers I went tbh, just because I told myself I'd have a week off I was tucking into giant chocolate bars and eating huge bowls of chips. I wasnt shocked to find my weight had increased when we got back, I'd gained 3lbs which wasn't bad considering how mad I'd been. Went straight back to this woe on the return journey home and after three days had already lost 2 lbs although it was hard and I was cravi g carbs.

So am back in the zone now, dh is joining in now which is great as he's got a lot to loose and I'm sure he's wheel intolerant. Regardless of how lovely it was to chomp through all sorts of goodies I couldn't help thinking about how much better I'd been feeling and fearfully that the awful pmt I used to have might return. So am determined to stick with it.

emmak86 · 09/08/2012 15:39

NotMostPeople

At least ur back into it now and joining the rest of us Smile

NigellasGuest · 09/08/2012 16:28

Still exactly 10 stone. it will not shift. I want to be 9 and a half! GRRRRRR.

NMP glad to see you are back in the zone - I've definitely been better regarding PMT etc. since starting this WOE.

MrsOnYourMarksGetSetPoirot · 09/08/2012 16:43

Oh dear I am a bit in holiday mindset this week and not being all that good tbh.

Emma - I make ice lollies just using sugar free squash. Obvs not bootcamp rules, but better than being tempted by a magnum I always think in the hot weather! If you're feeling really crazy you can make them with diet lemonade too...

TeamGBIWI · 09/08/2012 16:46

Or you could make gin and slimline tonic ones!
