Well, week 15 of Bootcamp has just ended. But the support and banter will continue! I, for one, am carrying on for the next couple of weeks until my holiday, in the hope that I can drop another pound or so before I go.

There have been some brilliant losses in the last two weeks, so I'm hoping that you'll all be sticking with it too!

No it is on Jins' profile I think - sorry Jins hope you don't mind me sharing! I saw it when peeking at your pictures the other day of before and after to inspire me!!!

NigellasGuest · 07/08/2012 19:49

thanks for bloating tips BIWI & mummyduff - I guess it's back to the water then. Wink

mummyduff · 07/08/2012 19:54

Mrs I had forgot about that cake, I think I may mention that to my DH alsoGrin

Thegoddessblossom · 07/08/2012 20:41

Salmon, served with a mountain of kale, courgette and broccolli cooked in butter.

Snacks today have been babybel, celery with pâté, and a g&t. Will have a coffee with cream in a bit.

Ds2's 6th birthday tomorrow. He is so excited.

EyesDoMoreThanSee · 07/08/2012 21:33

I had the dinner to end all dinners tonight

Bed of thinly sliced lettuce, on which I placed very thinly sliced fried courgette and smoked mackerel. Awesome.

I have had a glass of red wine, as I am on holiday

SharonGless · 07/08/2012 21:58

Tea-sending hugs. Make it worth while but get some kip. Had two bad nights with Dc and feeling it- need an early night so in bed now. Everything will seem a but better if yu manage to get some sleep and be kind to yourself.

Jan2011- glad you have got your mum looking after you
Mummyduff- impressive measurements there. I have lost 3inches from my waist And 2 from my hips so far.
B Greek yoghurt and blueberries
L crestless quiche with salad and mayo
D bolognaise sauce with courgette sticks

Night all Brew

hurricanewyn · 07/08/2012 22:11

Thanks Mrs - I'll have a nosey at thst.
Tea - I hope you feel better and that you sleep tonight.
Well done to all the losers, esp Envy of those inches lost.
Today I've had
B Eggs & bacon
L Leftover lasagne
D I made chicken in a mushroom, cream & tarragon sauce, but haven't been hungry, so I'll have it tomotrow.

Snacks have been pork scratchings & one square of 81% chocolate.

Can we have squash? I was thinking of making ice lollies eith some no added sugar squash, but not sure if it's allowed. It's 1.2g of carbs per 100mill of concentrate which I'll obv water down, but don't eant to set off a sugar spike or carb cravings.

FiddleDeFat · 08/08/2012 00:30

Hazchem can you check your weight on the spreadsheet for today's weigh-in? Somehow I don't think it's correct!

hazchem · 08/08/2012 07:58

fiddle I see what I did there! Opps. I'm still quite proud of loosing a pound but it's not as spectacular as the 169 I "lost". I think I've fixed it now!

B- Mushrooms in butter and cream cheese
L- trout and brocolli
D- chicken wings maybe with some swede and courgette

E doing Briffa 12 minute routine as it's day off from C25K.

Thegoddessblossom · 08/08/2012 10:03

Nice 5.30am start so DS1 could open his pressies. Yawn.

jan2011 · 08/08/2012 11:46

well done everyone who is doing so well.

i have a good distraction at the minute - been staying with mum and dad dad is forever trying to lose weight but stuffing himself with sweet things, and was very very interested to hear about low carbing and the thought of losing weight without hunger! he said i can be his nutritionist for a month and he will give it a go so i am so excited. i am going to print the bootcamp rules off, try and get a menu for him, and this will be a great distraction for us. he isn't the type to go on the internet or research things for himself so if he has any questions i wil be on here asking stuff!

he has a stone to lose

TeamGBIWI · 08/08/2012 11:49

Well, jan, men tend to lose faster than women (a really good reason to Leave The Bastards Grin), so as long as he sticks to it, I bet he'll lose most of that in the first couple of weeks!

Good on you and him.

However, you won't be able to advise him from the inside of my suitcase, so, regrettably, I have unpacked you.

FiddleDeFat · 08/08/2012 12:00

I've just updated the spreadsheet. ILoveStripeySocks is our biggest loser this week with 4lbs lost - and that wasn't even the full week. Well done!

Enjoy your holiday BIWI. I've got the joys of Wetherspoons for lunch!

jan2011 · 08/08/2012 12:01

ooh i am sure you are getting excited about the hols! on a positive note mum and dad r talking about taking me away for a weekend :)

yeh if he loses the first 2 weeks it will give him the confidence boost he needs to stick with it. we are going shopping this afternoon for all the low carb stuff

mummyduff · 08/08/2012 14:19

Well done GoddessGrin

I am just back from a picnic in the park with all the pre school mums and children, it was exhausting, did well though I took chicken salad and water.

vnmum · 08/08/2012 14:55

I am considering maintaining for a few months now. I still would like to lose another stone but DH is going away in a few months for 7 months and when he has gone away previously I have comfort ate my way through it. This time I would like him to come back to a much slimmer and toned me and for this to happen so that he notices a dramatic difference I can't really lose anymore before he goes. Hope that makes sense.

I am hoping that by having this goal it will keep me focused while he is away.

Anyway, fasted workout this morning then mushroom omelette with courgette ribbons. Tea is going to be chicken kebabs and salad with half an avocado.

Thegoddessblossom · 08/08/2012 15:33

does make sense Vnmum. However, based on your photos I can't imagine where you would lose another stone from TBH!

Love Biwi unpacking Jan and DD. LOL!

Lunch (just eating now) - tin of salmon on salad with mushrooms, celery, mayo and 2 baby bels.

Went to gym this morning and am back up to running for 20 minutes so that is great! Body has clearly realised it can't wait for carbs for energy.

sybilfaulty · 08/08/2012 16:49

I have thrown away 4 bags of dirty and broken toys, with another bag of decent ones destined for the charity shop. I have drunk 2 l of water whilst doing so. Am feeling do virtuous . Now off to dd's piano lesson.

Knackered now though. Am goign to do a lamb thing for supper as a trial run. If nice will post to recipe thread.

kandinskysgirl · 08/08/2012 17:44

Hi all,

Dropped off significantly but have an event exactly a month tomorrow where I would like to look half decent, so am starting with gusto again.

Does anyone know if there is a website with a low carb meal plan with a shopping list at all? I have googled but cant find anything. I just need someone to plan my meals so I can follow it without thinking!

mummyduff · 08/08/2012 17:47

Eve all, I am so tired today and feeling quite sick not sure whyConfused and def not pregnant!!

Could not face breakfast, had chicken salad for lunch and now finding it hard to do something for tea as feeling rough! I am downing lots of water and just about to have a coffee.

vnmum I totally get what you mean, though cant imagin not having DH around for 7 months, what does he do? Smile

captainmummy · 08/08/2012 18:06

I'd like to ask what those who work do about coffee? I only work 3 mornings a week, and only drink coffee at work, BUT they only have semi-skimmed milk there. I can't really take in double cream for mine - what do you do?

Back on it today - B 3 eggs omellette
L ham, cheese and lettuce and mayo,
D - courgette ribbons with leeks cooked in butter and cream with a few mushrooms and a bit of boursin with pepper.

(BTW tesco have an offer on Boursin now, i got the pepper one and the tomato one for £1 each. Am going to try eggs with pepper bousin tomo for brek)

TeamGBIWI · 08/08/2012 18:14

Could you take a flask in, captainmummy?

OP posts:
captainmummy · 08/08/2012 18:22

I could, BIWI, but as there is only 4 of us (max) in the office i'd feel a bit silly. I suppose i could take in a green or Roiibos teabag, i drink that without milk of sugar. (If its my turn to buy milk i sneak a whole-milk carton in, and claim it's all they had!)

Just wondered what others do. I suppose 2 coffees x 3 times a week is not too bad?

vnmum · 08/08/2012 18:55

Thanks goddess but I feel I still have a bit more to lose around my middle and inner thighs Smile

mummyduff DH is in the forces. You can probably guess where he is going for that length of time Sad
