Where's everyone at?

I was über good @ cinema! Kids had Pringles @ cinema, I managed not to snaffle any!! Go me Wink

Dinner was roast beef, broccoli, sprouts, cauliflower, carrots and mushy peas, potato, sw roasties and gravy 2 syns.

Sitting now with pineapple & Greek muller.

Only used 5 syns today and ate well!! :)

I think it's a spicy squash and lentil soup sort of day here. Am meant to be doing curry tonight, but we have to go to town to the dentist after school so it might get a bit late. Will whizz up a soup this morning just in case.

today will be: SW fry up and HEB toast, chicken salad and cous cous, maybe soup or curry, or whatever I can find in freezer so I don't end up filling up on toast!

Speed curry sauce is 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin beans,1 tin chopped tomatoes, big onion, garlic and four heaped tbsps curry powder.

Cook the onion, add tins, powder & garlic & simmer on low for about half an hr then blitz.

I usually cook peppers, onions, chicken, onions, garlic etc and use that sauce, tis lush!!

Breakfast: peach & plum
Lunch: speed curry & rice with pineapple and mullerlight, followed by an apple.
Dinner: bacon chopped with onion, mushrooms, peppers, tinned tomatoes, tomato purée, on top of pasta with hea cheese:)

Have fruit there for later.

No, haven't seen hedgepig :( And a lot of other faces are missing too!

I wish the speed curry was explosive TDT but my bowel is a lazy bugger and the only time I've 'went' recently is when I've taken a senakot tablet.

And I ain't going near a doctor, no way on earth are they shoving a camera up my ass - uh-uh!!

I am too scared to try that speed curry, even though I need something to get me to lose some weight.

I was at the gym again tonight for step aerobics which was actually really, really good.
Its star week but as usual, no sign of it. Oh well, the Drs aren't worried so why should I be?

I had steak for dinner tonight. I can't believe after hating steak for so many years that it is actually so delicious. I didn't even do anything fancy with it, just cooked it for a few minutes on my George Foreman grill (that has been collecting dust in the cupboard for years) and a slice of mozarella cheese on top. DH and DC loved it too so I think I'll have to buy some more steaks.

I have bought some salad so hope I can have some healthy meals in the near future. I either go for it with the food planning or I go for lots of exericise. I can't seem to be able to manage both for some reason.

KID - I read somewhere that sometimes when we are trying to lose weight we put too much pressure on ourselves by suddenly changing our diet, and trying to exercise every day all at once, instead of making gradual changes and building up our exercise levels. I haven't explained that ver well, but hopefully you'll work out what i meant. I have given the food 100% this week, but have only done a little bit of walking and no other exercise. I hope to build a bit more in next week, and increase that slowly as the food thing (hopefully) becomes second naure mostly

have a stinking cold today.

can anyone recommend any citrus yogurts which are free? I hate yogurt, but can just about stomach lemon flavoured ones, and as my DM is on osteoporosis meds, I am concerned about keeping my calcium intake up (I don't eat cheese)

didn't hedgepig move house? maybe she is lost behind packing cases.

Hello everyone :)
Well after a week of celebrating getting to target and emotional eating because DH is still away and I'm fed up, I am pretty shocked that my gain is not bigger that it is! In the past week I've had two pizzas, a Chinese takeaway, a bottle of wine, a 120g bar of dairy milk, a white bread sausage baguette with chips, a huge slice of cake and an entire packet of digestive biscuits Blush
Hope everyone's ok - it's all a bit suspiciously quiet on here Hmm

Morning, I finally bought some batteries for my scales (i took them out for the move so the scales didn't keep going on in the packing box and haven't found them again Grin) anyway damage has been done, so back on the SW wagon I go.

off to the butchers dentist I go.

have weighed in and am was a bit disappointed. Serves me right for reading all my old mags with "8lb loss in the first week" stories. But have checked my stats on MFP and have cheered up (a bit), though I think I will be more generous with my syns this week, as cutting right back maybe wasn't a good idea. Will see.
