Did you do the level 1 once a day or more? When did you know to move to the next level? And how much do you do to maintain it? Is it as terrifying as it sounds?

I started it yesterday! This morning I couldn't get out of bed.

I've just done day 2 of level one, I fkn hate jumping jacks!! I keep having to stop to pee Blush

but I definitely found today slightly easier than yesterday. Every muscle in my body aches though and I was sick

FairhairedandFrustrated · 29/06/2012 23:56

I used two tins of mixed taco beans, I am also very unfit.

mumat39 · 30/06/2012 00:02

Ok. I think I should wait for you. So shall we have an opening the package ceremony where we all open them at the same time? Thanks this could be our equivalent of the olympic torch as there isn't an olympic symbol on this yet.

And then we could start it together if you like. :)

mumat39 · 30/06/2012 00:15

FairHeaded, I'm unfit too. :(

Re the tins, will own brand do Grin

Well done for doing it for 2 days in a row. Esp if you were aching on the 2nd day.

I spend so much time thinking about eating better and starting exercising it's mad. I just need to get on and do it. I watched an episode of the Biggest Loser US and jillian Michaels is a bit lot scary.

Good Luck with day 3.

Hey Maryz

I'm 43 so not too different from you. I'm happy to start next weekend too. Please tell me to bog off if I'm being too pushy or naggy. I was just excited that you asked if anyone wanted to start this on the 1st.

The 1st of September is my birthday so who knows maybe I'll be a slim thing by then. I wish.

Tell me if you'd rather I didn't hassle you.

:)

I need a kick up the bum too Hmm

Well done re the 2kg on Shirley's plan. I'm interested in that too but am just not doing well at the moment at not eating sugar and bad carbs. I know I shouldn't but as soon as I think that I can't help myself. I'm hoping that if I manage to get some exercise in that that will help me be better at eating

I have started it several times, even for up to level 2 but always seem to lose the motivation. Stupid really cos once I've completed it I feel great! Started again yesterday and then didn't do it today. I also need kicking up the bum...

Kowalski · 30/06/2012 00:55

*got up to level 2 even...

YouGoonie · 30/06/2012 08:19

What's Shirley's eating plan?
I'm attempting Slimming World and I've lost nearly a stone but I'm bored with it. I don't seem to have big losses like everyone else :(

Just did level 1! Had to give up on the last one before the cool down Blush
Am now sweating like a pig

I live in a 4th floor apartment. Will I be able to do the routines without disturbing my downstairs neighbour?

YouGoonie · 30/06/2012 11:24

There's a few jumping jacks in there but the whole routine is only 20 minutes so should be ok. I guess it depends how much your neighbour moans.

Hello

YouGoonie, Here is a link to Shirley's eating plan.

It's basically about eating well and keeping calories up so you don't eat below your BMR. Have a look. It is interesting. The opening bit of the thread has a link to the old thread so it might be worth starting there.

Oh and well done for losing your half stone. that's brilliant. :)

Kowalski, it's good to meet another who needs a kick up the bum. I'm the same as you, start with good intentions, love stuff when I do it and then any excuse and I can stop just like that without even batting an eyelid. Confused

Swatchdog · 30/06/2012 20:11

Mine arrived this morning and I did the first day at level one. My goodness it was hard. I thought that I'd be OK as I dabble in the gym, but that constant movement made it really hard.

I hope I don't ache too much tomorrow.

StrangerintheNight · 30/06/2012 21:16

My copy even came on holiday with me at half term, where I was convinced I'd have more free time and be a suitably positive frame of mind to start. The DVD certainly had a very restful and relaxing break (unlike me).

Well done for getting started Goonie! I'm now going to move DVD to a more prominent place on bookshelf...

FairhairedandFrustrated · 30/06/2012 21:53

Day 3 done Grin walking like I've shat myself Blush

cluelessnchaos · 01/07/2012 08:08

Can I join, I'm on level 1 day 4 and after being a bit achey day 1, in agony days 2 and 3, I think I've gone through the pain barrier and can climb stairs and sit on toilets again. Definitely much easier today but I'm still not doing proper press ups and bike crunches are a bit dodgy. I keep using my neck which gets achy. Dh joined me today which was hilarious, he struggled much more than he expected.

wem · 01/07/2012 16:43

Days 3 and 4 ticked off. I need to stick with it for at least a couple of weeks as I've got a very tight dress to fit in to. Or at least a dress that is tighter than it should be right now.

I looked back on my Wii Fit records and at about the time I did shred last time I actually got under 10st for the first time in my adult life so I guess it helps with weight loss more than I thought! I do remember (briefly) feeling like I looked fantastic, I had a tight dress to wear then too...

YouGoonie · 01/07/2012 17:44

I still have to do day 2 today but it hurts going up and down the stairs.
This will not be pretty!

Hi ladies, do you mind if I join you? I figure if I start tomorrow I've still got 30 days left before the end of the month! I'm going to the wedding on the 4th August, and I'm low carbing atm and already lost a few pounds so hoping to help things along and get ripped in the process! Smile
