Have had the worst summer ever in terms of weight control (but bloody brilliant in all other respects!)

Am waaaaay up but thankfully already down a few lb from my post-camping carnage when I managed to break the 13 stone barrier Blush Bearing in mind I was 11st 8lb in March this is VERY VERY bad.

Still, survived camping with the Nick O'Teen gang without succumbing to temptation so I guess that's good news. Just got to stick seriously to the low carbing from now until Christmas...

Sounds like you are having a fan summer fjorny GrinGrinGrin

Surviving on cup a pasta and cup a noddles Sad no proper food since Monday Sad no exercise since the yr dot! Not bothering to look at scales at no as although I have definitely lost some I fear it is only temporary!!!

SizzleSazz · 29/08/2012 14:47

I'm BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!! GrinGrin

I have had a faboulous eight few weeks off. This included large dinner plate pizza's with chips, double Maccy D's burger (they got the order wrong Hmm) and loads of booze.

Very, very scared of the scales and reckon i will be easily over 11 stone Blush. I really hope it is under 11 1/2.

However back in the groove today, 1hr circuits and 5 mins powerplate plus took DD's swimming. Pilates tomorrow and will try and run at the weekend.

I have signed up for another Triathlon in early Nov so using that as my target.

Weigh in will happen on friday just before i dissolve into a puddle of tears

Are we all back in????? Apart from LoTI with her injury pass and that is a temporary situation.

luckoftheirish · 29/08/2012 16:01

I am here BlushBlushBlushBlush after almost a week and a half of the soft food diet I reckon I am good to go!

However as dd1 doesn't go back to school til the 10th (weeps) we are back to Spain sun-fri Blush

Will weigh in fri so have a starting point! Haven't exercised in 8 weeks BlushBlushBlushBlush

SizzleSazz · 29/08/2012 17:55

Yay, hi LOTI Smile

Soft food and no alcohol must be a pretty effective diet! Hurrah for Spanish hols Envy

luckoftheirish · 29/08/2012 18:23

I am dying for a WineBlush wedding on Friday, first child free day in two months could be messy Grin

SizzleSazz · 31/08/2012 07:46

Hope you manage to have an enjoyable time today loti Smile

11.4

Over a stone since Easter Blush, so you are in good company Fjorn Grin

FjorGynAndHotWater · 31/08/2012 12:52

Thank feck I am not the only bad girl sazz Grin

Up another 0.5 this week but blaming it on period bloating when in fact it is malteasers and blackberry/apple cake...

OP posts:
SizzleSazz · 06/09/2012 21:01

Bollocks. Another bad week

I was going to do better until I tried to break two toes so i lapsed again Hmm

Better low carbing today plus 4k walk/run and 1hr pilates.

Can someone please give me a kick up my fat, wobbly arse please?????

SizzleSazz · 07/09/2012 08:20

Somehow down 4 to 11.0.

Target next week is 10.12.

I CAN do this! Going for a few days of low carbing and ramping up the exercise.....

FjorGynAndHotWater · 07/09/2012 08:25

Bloody hell sazz well done!

Sadly I am evens on last week. Probably something to do with zero exercise (apart from a quick swim in the North sea on Monday ) 4 nights boozing and fish & chips / ice cream at the seaside. So should be grateful for evens really. Not going to be disheartened but keep trying and hopefully it's all going to start coming off next week...

OP posts:
SizzleSazz · 07/09/2012 09:11

Fjorn, i am pretty sure it is just the height of the excesses coming off with a few alcohol free nights Blush

DOn't be disheartened as you didn't manage to put on a stone in 8 weeks - with that speed of gain, there had to be some good early losses!

I am going to try and have a better weekend, low carbing where i can and then back to full on next week. I have to do this as i can't fit into most of my jeans atm and i'm buggered if i'm going to go and buy bigger ones.

SizzleSazz · 07/09/2012 22:18

Few carbs have passed my lips today and i have had 2 G&(S)T tonight.

Tis hard, but will be worth it when i can have access to my full wardrobe back.....

SizzleSazz · 08/09/2012 07:56

Yay. Under 11 this morning just Smile

Thinking of maybe going for a run unlikely

luckoftheirish · 08/09/2012 08:47

Wow sizzle that's very impressive Smile

Well I have 11lbs to loose ekk Sad

Dad here this weekend which is hard work in itself but two grumpy dds to boot and I will be diving into the Wine

First gym session in about 9 weeks on Monday Blush

I want this weight gone by Xmas!! Who is with me?? And ideas, tips v welcome on how to do this!!! Pls tell me both about your low carb days!!!

SizzleSazz · 08/09/2012 11:19

Lovely to see you back LOTI Smile

11lbs would be nice to lose here too, so should be doable by Xmas? With your health needing a boost, i would suggest loads of food with herbs, spices, garlic etc to try and boost some immunity - stir fries are great and healthy too?

I have no gym sessions planned, but will sort a new gym plan once Emma is in school.

Low(ish) carb from yesterday:

Grapefruit & boiled egg
Rocket & parmesan salad with plum tomatoes, pickled onions & balsamic vinegar
Plum
Bacon & cheese omelette with salad
Activia yoghurt
2 G&(S)T
Nibbled on some emmental & ham during the day

Same brekker today. Probably same lunch and venison steak & salad for tea.

I think low carb is particularly tricky for veggies as you end up with egg & cheese all the time. I am doing it for a kick start and to reduce my appetite as you genuinely don't feel hungry doing it. Once i have regulated the quantities i am eating i will go back to my more 'normal' diet.

I am thinking to make some cabbage soup too for those times when i want to eat something but there isn't much to hand.

SizzleSazz · 09/09/2012 07:52

Down 0.75 to 10.13.

One more day of the weekend to go keeping on the straight and narrow.

Food yesterday was as envisaged with one G&(S)T Smile

luckoftheirish · 09/09/2012 10:02

Woo hoo sizz you are rocking and rolling GrinGrinGrin

I am an amazing 2.5lbs down on yesterday Shock quite a stressful day and overnight but did not succumb to the Wine

Harder day today as have friends around and they are bringing apple tart for pudBlushGrin

SizzleSazz · 09/09/2012 19:44

Wow with the amazing loss loti!! Sorry to hear you had a stressful day though.

Done ok today, despite picnic out . Grapefruit & boiled egg, cheese snack, tuna salad & grapes, roast chicken with broccoli & carrots and one roastie

Just about to take a G&(S)T into the bath Smile

I mentioned to DH that i had put on a stone, and he said 'i know' 'your tits have come back'. Tactless git Grin

SizzleSazz · 10/09/2012 06:56
