Update the spreadsheet here

Here you go - come and 'fess up!

right people listen to the great biwi for she knows all

i put on 3lbs between monday and friday last week. biwi advised more water and reduced processed meat. after following this i am now weighing in with a net 2lb loss - i.e. i lost 5lb over the weekend (i know the 3lb prob was water retention etc but i'm still chuffed)

RadioSilence · 28/05/2012 09:06

Willie that what just what I needed to hear. I stepped off the wagon this weekend ( I did not fall off- it was a planned celebration and I thoroughly enjoyed cake, ice cream and chocolate) and have gained 3 lbs. I was feeling quite despondent but knowing I can turn things around if I just knuckle down has inspired me.Thank you!

NigellasGuest · 28/05/2012 09:47

have just updated on the spreadsheet - since starting Bootcamp 2 weeks ago I've lost half a stone!

I suppose now I am officially on Bootcamp Lite!

Way to go, NigellasGuest!

Nods... Water water water...Biwi also advised me to up water after a meat fest the last few days, and yes indeed it helped and this morning was back to Thursday mornings weight.
She knows her stuff! Smile

smokinaces · 28/05/2012 10:13

Morning. Two down so 12lb in total since bootcamp started six weeks ago. Determined to make that a stone this week and do another two.

Ilovemyteddy · 28/05/2012 10:13

2.2lbs off this week. Yay! Definitely drinking gallons of water (and not cheating) works for me.

DoUntoOtters · 28/05/2012 10:14

I have stayed the same this week which has surprised me because I am feeling considerably trimmer. Confused

Well done, Willie, another good week for you I see. Grin I'm hoping that my body is following BIWI's weight loss pattern of levelling out then a big loss. Grin

londonone · 28/05/2012 10:35

One more pound off! Only one more pound to go until I hit the two stone mark altogether (i started on 11th March)! Off on hols next week so hope it isn't too much of a spanner in the works!

teaandthorazine · 28/05/2012 10:46

Am now 10st 7lb. Am on phone so will try to add mysf later.

Ilovemyteddy · 28/05/2012 10:48

Blush not 2.2lbs off for me - 1.8lb. Rubbish at maths!!

heartstart · 28/05/2012 10:52

Hi put on 3lbs and deserved it. I too have misjudged the process meet thing and strayed in other ways thanks for all the support am now a woman driven. Also sorting out family finances, ds school, work, dh and various other things.

BIWItheBold · 28/05/2012 11:40

Can you come and sort out my finances and household while you're at it, heartstart?! Grin

DoUntoOtters - have you measured yourself as well? You may well be slimmer and trimmer - the scales don't always reflect what's really going on.

Morning all

I'm a STS this week, which is absolutely fine as I am definitely, no bones about it, a smaller clothes size.

Spreadsheet updated, well done on another week everyone

vnmum · 28/05/2012 11:53

3lb gain this week, not worried though, will be doing water, water and more water. changed my gym programme at the weekend so expecting a bit of resistance from my body this week as it gets a shock

NigellasGuest · 28/05/2012 13:09

thank you BIWI and everyone else who posts on these threads (I read them avidly but can't possibly post as much as it would take to join in as much as I'd like to)! if that makes sense.....

Hoping I can continue to lose weight - I've lost half a stone in 2 weeks and very happy about it!! but I've been at this weight for a while now (I lost the half stone quite fast after starting bootcamp) so I've obviously stalled. I'm assuming I just carry on as normal and someone will jump in and correct me if I'm wrong...... (I believe fasting is the remedy for serious stalls but not for me at this point and I'm just impatient)...

heartstart · 28/05/2012 13:22

BiWi, given what you know about my ability to follow a plan and attention to detail, I don't think that would be wise do you? Grin Work, DS School sorted, finances work in progress, DH a lifetime's work small gains!!

MNP · 28/05/2012 13:27

2lb off and I know I am not managing my 3.5L, nearer 2.5-3L mainly as out and about and loo's with buggy access and few in the area.

switchtvoffdosomelessboring · 28/05/2012 13:31

Can I be added to the spreadsheet?

I started off last thursday weighing 11st 10.5 pounds. This morning I was 11st 5. So 5 and a half pounds in 10 days.

I can't bloody believe it, I have ate the most fantastic tasty food the last 10 days, not once felt deprived or hungry.

BIWItheBold · 28/05/2012 14:29

NigellasGuest - you haven't stalled! And you have lost half a stone!

You haven't stalled unless you've gone for a few weeks without seeing any loss.

Now. I should warn you - the first, immediate and quick weight loss is mostly water. Your body is now 'being encouraged' to start losing fat.

It is very common for weight loss to slow/stop or even reverse in weeks 3, 4 and or 5

Please be aware of this, and prepare yourself psychologically for it to happen.

And when it does happen, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. DO NOT PANIC. DO NOT GO OFF THE RAILS AND START EATING MORE CARBS!

This way of eating, like every other diet, is as much about your head as it is your eating habits. Getting yourself 'in the zone' is absolutely critical. Having a big loss at the beginning does help with this.

BIWItheBold · 28/05/2012 14:29

switchtvoff - brilliant progress! And it's great eating this way, isn't it?!

Thanks for the pep talk - I will keep the faith. (Hadn't even thought of losing it though..) Thanks

Forewarned is forearmed - you are quite right. And in this spirit I'm taking various vitamins now to pre-empt imminent PMT induced carb and sugar cravings - it will be the first time I've tried to counteract my cravings with vitamins ever, let alone since starting this WOE, so I am quite interested to see what if any effect the vits and/or WOE actually have.
In the mean time I will stop looking at that link to the tablet! [salivating smiley]

WillieWaggledagger · 28/05/2012 14:48

nigella, yep you're right - keep on keeping on, don't allow carbs to creep in and drink plenty of water

Ilovemyteddy · 28/05/2012 16:57

Nigella - keep the faith. There is always a slowing-down/dead-stop in the weeks immediately after bootcamp. I lost 10lb in my first two weeks when I changed to this WOE and nothing for the next couple of weeks. But it's been slow and steady ever since, which is the best way to lose weight - although I know how frustrating it is Grin

Is there something wrong with me in that I don't crave sugar, and never have done(although I've eaten more than my fair share of it in the past!)

Bread however...mmmmmmmmmmm!

Theeverexpandingrodders · 28/05/2012 17:14

12.3 for me this week indulged over the weekend but back on the wagon now felt so crap this morning so hopefully will lose some in the next week !!
