Hi I've been steadily losing weight since Jan, nearly two stone now. I struggle when DD1 off school so use each term as reason to kick start again my next goal of losing 10lbs in next 7weeks. I've been using myfitnesspal app to log food, walk a lot with 7mth old babe in buggy and do Shred dvd 3xs a week. I'm just about to try level 3 which looks very challenging oooh...

Anyone want to join me?

I've just done my weekly weigh-in, and I'm down to 9 stone 2, so a loss of 2lb over 2 weeks. Really pleased as I only want to get down to 9. Ordered some new summer clothes, and they look so much better on than they normally would - now I just need some sunshine.

I also love the Shred. Have made it to Level 3, and I have to say this is the level I'm enjoying most. Had very little body strength when I started - definitely couldn't do the pushups in level one, but now I'm doing walking push-ups! As ssmile says, it's the best £5 I've ever spent on getting fit. I've just got a set of Jillian's other DVDS off Amazon, so I can give those a try soon.

Another thing I've done recently is got "The Biggest Loser Cookbook" out of the library - there are some really nice recipes in there for under 600 calories. I've even made some dinners that are just 400 cals.

Finally a apology to ssmile for not posting more - I have been lurking though. We've got our house on the market and things are rather hectic, so my internet posting time has been rather curtailed.

Well done on all the lossesSmile
I have now joined MFP & become slightly obsessive! Am still Jillianing 5xp/week & almost at original target weight of 9.2. Am thinking I may go a bit lower but will see if these final lbs make all the difference. Go for it fizzybee it's tough but strangely addictive & I'm(was) a non exerciser. There's a great shred thread for help & support. Shred has made me much stronger, I have more energy, I sleep better & wake earlier so it's all good! 4lbs more will take me back to post honeymoon/pre baby weight which is 15/10 y ago so am v pleased. Any more & I'm back in the 8st something which seems unbelievableShock.

Sat is my weighin day. Not had best week but think I've averaged around 1600c a day. Baby been ill and not sleeping so I got a bit sucked back into the eat carbs, then sugar cycle to stay awake but then of course it makes me feel worse when you "come down" from the sugar grrrr why can't I learn. Actually I am learning but its a slow process. Baby also upped breast feeds when we had been dropping them (she 8.5mths), so I'm not sure if I've lost half a pound or not! Yesterday I was 1lb down, but this morning I was what I weighed last week. So I'm not too worried as its not gone up! :)

Hope greenfig corrie and fizzybe you are doing ok too...

Well only lost 1pm last week either it's still pmt which I think my coil is making last 2 weeks at a time now
Or im getting used to the low calories and the weights not dropping off

Will se how it goes this week and poss switch from low gi to low carb depending on that

I only stopped bf last month ssmile couldn't manage diets whilst doing if and the pounds went sucked out like everyone said they should be despite bf for 13 monthsHmm

ssmile · 21/05/2012 13:15

I had a mirena coil fitted 6mths ago and swear I'm grumpy for two weeks now too! I've made the breastfeed work for me this time. First baby found it exhausting and with a vbad sleeping baby I put on stone after having baby eating lots of carbs and sugar. This time baby is a much better sleeper and I've found it easier to eat more healthy, walk a lot and drop weight. But I've just been to lidls and now eating a bar of chocolate Ho hum it does taste vvnice but gulp its 552calories oops must try get my bike trainer later!

Well done on the lb its a loss! :)

Well I'm not sure if anyone stayed with me, but I lost 7lbs in 7weeks so I'm pleased as there was some unforeseen stuff going on in RL that made it tough going at times.

Hope there were some other gd weight losses too...

I've got a holiday then I will be trying to lose another 8lbs to hit my final Target of 40lbs lost since Jan :)

I've started a new 8 week challenge thread if u want to start again and join me ssmile Maybe we can make some new friends since were alone hereGrin

Corriewatcher · 04/06/2012 11:45

Sorry for not posting more often - rl been rather hectic. But I am now down to 9 stone 1 so I'm really happy about that. Just one more pound to lose. Went to a 50s Jubilee dance on Sat night and I looked so much better than I would have done before this weight loss.

My aim is to lose that 1 more pound to get down to a nice round 9 stone and then to just maintain it through regular physical activity (Shred, running and dog walking) and healthy eating. Can't quite believe I'm doing Level 3 Shred!

Well done to Fizzybee and Ssmile and anyone else who's lost weight.
