Oh dear. I've put on 3lbs this week!! Mind you no excuses but I've had a lot of social dos. This week I am definately trying extra hard.

Hi all,
Down to 11.7, thatis 2lbs lost! I have a feeling it all starts slowing down now, however I'm thrilled to be lighter. Keep going everyone.

unicorn · 24/01/2006 08:04

Looks like I am stuck - no weight loss here .. but then again I usually put on around 3-4lbs when AF due so not too bad I guess.

Please can I have the alternate chart as I can't open the original. thanks.

busywizzy · 24/01/2006 08:21

Another 1lb lost for me so that's 10st 7lb. Half way there - yippee

omtmum · 24/01/2006 08:37

1lb on for me. Seem to have lost all motivation but am going to try harder this week I hope and I will not give up

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 09:27

Woohoo! I've finally lost some weight

I even have AF coming to stay soon so this is really good!

I've lost 2lbs this week! While that is great I am not going to get too excited as I am now back to the weight I was when we first started this!

But hey, let me just bask in this little bit of glory for a few mins!

"your target weight loss for next week is 2lbs!" (spoken in the voice of Harvey (Fit club))

Earlybird · 24/01/2006 09:33

Grim week for me. I realised that I probably wasn't going to be successful dieting on my own, so joined Weight Watchers with a friend yesterday. That's the good news....

The bad news is that the Weight Watchers scale said I weigh quite a bit more than my scale at home. So, please ammend my entry on the chart to say that I weigh 11 stone 13 pounds.

Hopefully, I'll have good news to report next week.

Furball · 24/01/2006 09:39

Earlybird - crickey that is harsh

tangerinecath · 24/01/2006 09:42

Woohoo, I've lost the pound that I gained last week [bouncy emoticon]

So I'm 15st 10 again.

I am so chuffed to have lost even just that small amount, I was so convinced that I had put on weight this week.

Come on ladies we can do it, this thread really works! I spent all day yesterday saying to myself "no, you can't have a cake/choccy bar/large vodka, it's weigh in tomorrow" and lo and behold, I'm a lighter lardy lady today

Dingle · 24/01/2006 09:48

Been really grotty, Amelia has been off nursery for a week now and today DS has come down with the lurgie! Not done much exercising, not even my 3 walks to school and back each day. Only consolation I suppose is that I couldn't eat much for a few days because my throat was just too sore!

Weighed in this morning at 10st 4.75lb at grand loss of .75lb!!!! I was on the chart at 10st 5lb ...so in effect I will have lost no weight this week!!!

and there was me planning to be 10st by Valentines Day, and 9st7lb by my 40th birthday in March!

....and pigs might fly!

figleaf · 24/01/2006 10:06

12st 9lb for me so 1lb down. A small loss but Im ok with it. Its about now, 4 weeks in, that most NeyYears resolutions start to fail. I/well have to try really hard all week. My sweet tooth is my big weakness,I am walking round the house saying "the sweeties are for my children, the sweeties are for my children". Im off to a legs, bums and tums class now so Im feeling virtuous.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/01/2006 10:13

so not suprised... back up to 12st exactly - loads of choccy this week. Have just bought Davina's workout though, so DH will be in fits of laughter later while i die on the floor!

me23 · 24/01/2006 10:15

I've put on 1lb, so I'm back to my original 10st 7lb. Thing is I resisted takeaways this week so I'm disappointed felt like giving up yesterday. I'm not going to though today is a frest start! (hopefully)

my target weight loss is 3 pounds.

Furball · 24/01/2006 10:27

Oh Dear - Looks like theres alot of us struggling. How can we drum up some enthusiam

quick print out This and put it on your fridge.

HeavyBee · 24/01/2006 10:30

I haven't lost anything this week. But then I haven't gained anything either, so I suppose that's good, and I'm retraining my eating habits which is also good. This list is such a help for that with great ideas about food.

What's a bit galling is that DH is also trying to lose weight, and he manages several pounds a week. I comfort myself that he had more to lose....

Good luck to everyone and just think how much less there'll be of each of us by Easter!

tangerinecath · 24/01/2006 10:34

Does anyone else have a weak day on Tuesday after they've weighed in???

I'm seriously tempted to hit the choccy as I know that there's a whole week until I have to stand on the scales again.

Furball - lol, if I ever look like that it'll be down to surgery not dieting

UCM · 24/01/2006 10:38

14.1

Am putting weight loss down to horrid sickness/diarhea (sp) bug that I have had for last 36 hours.

Good on you all that have lost weight, if you have lost it the same way as me, then . It's really horrid.

UCM · 24/01/2006 10:41

As for having a weak day, I feel so weak that I have resorted to eating the christmas chocolate today. You know, the ones that didn't find their way onto the tree. Forgot about em,.....til this am, when I feel so weak from not eating for the last 36 hours.

tangerinecath · 24/01/2006 11:05

UCM, if you're poorly then you need sugar and endorphins - can't think of a better way of getting them than eating chocolate

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 12:24

I need some inspiration! What can I have for my lunch? What is everyone else having?

I'm a bit fed up with soup, jacket potato, pasta!

Anything else healthy I could have?!

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 12:24

UCM

Get better soon!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/01/2006 12:25

no ideas here im afraid, had bacon toastie for breakfast and a go-ahead orange and sultana biscuit thing as a snack.... im having my bog-standard pasta thing for lunch

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 12:28

Oh well not to worry! I will go and have a rummage in the kitchen - see what I can find!

btw we are the same weight now jarm!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/01/2006 12:35

yay - well done you! ive been awful but will do better - i need to..... cant blame it on baby too much longer - shes 13 weeks now!

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 12:36

At least your baby is only 13 weeks! My baby is 3 years 3 months and I still blame him!

I still think you can blame baby for a little while longer!
