I stayed the same this week, is the 3rd week always this hard??? I think I need to start putting what I'm eating on here again daily. Fingers crossed for a good week this week

UCM - hope you feel better soon!

figleaf · 24/01/2006 12:48

I`ve had ham, sld and a bit of brown bread with marmite on for lunch. Just reading the posts having a slim a soup. What did you opt for JenG?

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 12:53

I have just blasted 2 pieces of lean bacon in the microwave put them in a couple of pieces of brown bread with a splash of brown sauce! Served with a cold can of Diet Coke!

Yum!

figleaf · 24/01/2006 12:55

Am down to 9st 13lbs. . Am putting it down to all that blood loss. My period's lasted over 2 weeks and I am worried. This is the second time it's happened.

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 13:38

That doesnt sound good chickenrice! (the blood loss I mean - not the weight loss!)

Have you seen a doctor? A 2 week period

MrsSpoon · 24/01/2006 13:50

I've put on another lb . Think my body is still sorting itself out after the bug I have had. Although I will need to start counting my points properly again.

teacups · 24/01/2006 15:26

I have lost 3lb! Now 11st 13. Had diarrhoea all day Sunday and felt lousy yesterday, so that probably accounts for it. Expect it'll go up again next week.

Went out for a bowl of noodles at lunch as it was so cold ! Should have soup for supper but rarely find that a big lunch prevents an evening hog out! Am feeling full of cold now too, so need comfort stodge.

Anyone got any ideas to keep me out of the fridge this evening?

XXX

MrsBoo · 24/01/2006 16:02

Hi all, sorry i am only getting round to this at 4pm (have had to do some work).
2lb off for me
am very pleased, as had naughty Caramel bar last night.

chickenrice · 24/01/2006 19:09

No JenumGeranium, I am fed up with my periods, the last two have lasted 2 weeks each. Saw the GP. She says I need to get a blood test. Prescribed some drug to stop it so that she can do an internal. Hopefully she will have some answers then.

JenumGeranium · 24/01/2006 19:17

Oh I hope so chickenrice! Must be awful!

Milliways · 24/01/2006 21:04

No change here either

Something to do with a curry, a pizza & a Birthday Sunday Lunch I think....

Berries · 24/01/2006 21:23

No change - visitors all weekend

Loobz · 24/01/2006 21:23

Stayed the same this week. Not well - got a really heavy cold and not eating which would be good but as soon as my appetite comes back I know I'll want things that I'm not supposed to have. Am away to my bed with a hot toddy (for medicinal reasons of course)

DustAnyone · 24/01/2006 21:45

Stayed the same this week, was a bit disappointed but it has made me more determined. I am going to try and cut down on the alcohol, I share a bottle of wine every night with dh. There is no wine in the house at the moment so I can't have any so I am now sipping away on a glass of shloer. Have made my lunch for tomorrow, roasted red pepper houmous (shop bought) with crunchy vegetable dips. Well done everybody, keep up the good work. Hope you feel better soon UCM.

DustAnyone · 24/01/2006 22:38

Thanks Furball.... am really motivated this time. I tried to lose weight in September last year but only half heartedly because I knew Christmas was near.

No excuse now, and Summer will soon be here!

hullabaloo · 24/01/2006 22:53

Woo Hoo! 2lbs off! A minor miracle cos I had a bummer of a week! Didn't get to the gym or to my aquafit class but did do my walk round the park. Wasn't too good on the eating either as AF arrived. But really tried hard towards the end of the week and pushed myself on my walk. Definitely going to sign up for Race for Life. I need a mission and I think having that to aim for in the summer will help me to stick with the exercise which for me is the hardest bit!!
Anyway well done to all the Losers!!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/01/2006 23:06

Well girls - I really must get this sorted - i have just entered myself for the RACE FOR LIFE 2006 in July.... OH MY GOD!!!!

tortoise · 24/01/2006 23:44

Hi all.Im new to this! Ive just started my diet last tues. Lost 2lbs this week so good start! Sounds like u all doing well.

Dingle · 24/01/2006 23:58

jessicaandrebeccasmummy - you have done it now. Was thinking about doing another run. Did the Flora light 5k in 2004 and I got down to 9st.7lb, the lowest I have ever been since having the children.

The Race for Life is being held in a Country Park very nearby for the first time and I have been hummming and arrrhing about giving it another go!
Will sign up tomorrow!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 25/01/2006 00:15

YEAH!

Come on dingle - WE CAN DO THIS!

Ive got 6 months to get myself sorted - and sorted i must be!!!

Must go and BUY a pair of TRAINERS! Do not own a single pair! How BAD is that!!!

JenumGeranium · 25/01/2006 08:51

I think I will sign up for it too!

Do you have to do some kind of training for it?

I have a few pairs of trainers, but none good enough for doing this! I'm sure I will need a new pair!
