Just read article in DM about this (i think) new slimming pills. Apparently Mica Paris was using them and she lost two dress sizes in two months.
I am currently 110kg Shock and i used to be 68-75kg pre pregnancy weight (youngest dd is 7 and a half) and since then weight was just piling up until it reached 110kg.
I have to lose weight,i have to. I tried some other things in the past and low gi diet helped me to shed 10kg in 8weeks,but i lost motivation and got back to same thing.
Can anyone give me some good kick advice, how to motivate myself, how to find that inner strength to do things in a right way.
My BIG downfall is eating late ,especially when i come from work (9pm) and over the years it became a habit!!!!!!!!
Are this pills ok and did anyone used them???
Thank you for your time!!!!!SmileSmile

Hi all..... i've not long been told about xls medical so thought i'd give them a go!! Am just about to start day 3 so early days yet. After my 6 year old was born i took phentermine and lost nearly 3 1/2 stone but this time they didn't really work and gave me palpatations!! Its taken me 2 years to put half of it back on!! Can't carry on like this!! Got the xls off Amazon - what a fantastic offer as they are nearly £50 in Boots!! Love reading all your posts! Good luck!! x

Morning all,

I'm down another few lbs, I'm struggling to eat more than 2 meals some days? I don't know if anyone else is getting this feeling / side effect, could be the fuller longer effect, but I didn't think it would last that long.

Yesterday I had
2x toast (brown bread) & peanut butter 2x xls
2 x whole meal wraps, chicken breast, peppers, tomato salsa. 2x xls

Ummmm, alcohol, I'm partial to some rosé of an evening.......right now it's my only treat, but it looks like ill be forgoing it for a bit to see if it helps.

bexlou1980 · 29/10/2012 08:51

Hi..... did anyone find that they put weight on initially before they started losing? I'm probably a bit impatient..... I'm on day 4 and have put on 1 1/2 lbs......

KnockKnockPenny · 29/10/2012 09:30

Have you increased your eating habits?

Spannerfingers · 29/10/2012 17:05

You need to reduce portion size and drink water, lots of water

bexlou1980 · 29/10/2012 21:10

Hi i have found since yesterday that i can't physically eat as much. maybe its just some water retention.

Modetta · 31/10/2012 16:29

Hi I've been taking xls medical for 10 days and have lost 3lbs but I now have an ear infection and am on antibiotics ( no connection of course) does anyone know if I can still take xls medical? It's really annoying as I've got off to such a good start!

Spannerfingers · 31/10/2012 17:16

They are natural, so I don't see why not.

Modetta · 31/10/2012 20:43

I thought there might a problem with absorbing medication when taking fat binders. I've decided to continue taking xls med and then taking the antibiotics at least 2 hours later. See what happens

Spannerfingers · 01/11/2012 20:39

I'm convinced these are a 5 minute wonder.

Getskinnyordietrying · 02/11/2012 00:01

Why the change or heart? You seemed optimistic/pleased with results?

After checking this thread for a few weeks I purchased a months supply on Monday started on Tuesday and have lost 3lbs no side effects no added exercise but smaller portions due to lack of hunger pangs

bexlou1980 · 02/11/2012 08:04

so.... update, beginning of day 7. The initial weight i thought had gone on has gone and i weigh exactly the same as i started at the beginning. Not eating between meals, a little bit of an appetite suppression. And oh my goodness the wind!! Has anyone else experienced that? I am sure I have heard that it can take a week for the tablets to start working.... has anyone else noticed this? What are everyones experiences of how many days til the tablets started working? x

Getskinnyordietrying · 02/11/2012 09:57

Just read on watchdog website they "kick-in" after 3 days. Xls website says two tablets after each meal. I've been having one after breakfast two with lunch and three with dinner....not sure what to do now??????

Shellycdn · 03/11/2012 11:47

Well second week done and I have only lost 1lb, partner has done 2, still disappointed with the low weight losses for me, but have decided to continue for another month on them to at least give them a fair trial. Also saved money on the new months tablets as well pharmacy first have the 180 pack got £29.98, with only £3.49 delivery, or if u order over £40 it's free delivery using 2nd class post.

Have not found that my hunger has been suppressed though, in fact occasionally I am waking up starving around 3 in the morning!!

Am also going to take some vitamins, as per older post relating to the vitamin D. This is because the hormone and nutrient imbalance with someone with pcos depletes it, which I was not aware of so fingers crossed for next week.

juneybean · 03/11/2012 14:15

If I use myfitnesspal, how many pills per grams of fat per meal do you generally take? Like say a meal had 20g of fat, would you take 2, and anything under 20g just one?

Spannerfingers · 03/11/2012 20:20

Getskinnyordiettrying,

The reason is it as screwed up my stomach something terrible, the first 2 weeks were ok, after that it was crippling constipation, wind, bloating and weight came back although I was eating less than 4 weeks earlier.

If anything these may be the quick fix to drop a few pounds for that special night out etc, but they are not long term.

.

bexlou1980 · 03/11/2012 21:16

day 8....... woohoo i've lost 2 1/2 lbs!!!! very happy and relieved!!! the wind has settle a bit too, gonna stick with this now!!

NoMoreMarbles · 03/11/2012 23:23

I have just ordered 120 pack of XLS tablets so they should arrive Monday (next day delivery) on the back of this thread :)

I want to lose 2 stone in as many months so need all the help I can get :)

bluetea · 05/11/2012 13:32

It is great to read these threads, thanks guys! I have been thinking about taking these for a while now, so it is good to hear that they seem to work for most people. I have a 4 month old and have put on so much weight since having him. I feel so fat and unsexy. I am going to place my amazon order right now!! I will update as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I look forward to reading everyone else's stories! Good Luck!

Getskinnyordietrying · 06/11/2012 14:09

Spannerfingers thanks for the reply - I've noticed a few possible side effects although I'm guessing could be put down to other factors for example slight change in diet /stopping smoking and giving up caffeine all on the same day!

I purchased a months supply and have been taking them for a week today (also stopped smoking last Tuesday and have up caffeine - I have a major coffee / diet coke addiction) so far I have lost 3 1/4 lbs. step in the right direction as I have 3stone to loose setting a target of 4lbs this week and plan to start moving more will keep you posted! Keep up the good work everyone stay motivated x

juneybean · 06/11/2012 15:32

Well done on your loss so far getskinny !

Mer766 · 07/11/2012 07:07
