Just read article in DM about this (i think) new slimming pills. Apparently Mica Paris was using them and she lost two dress sizes in two months.
I am currently 110kg Shock and i used to be 68-75kg pre pregnancy weight (youngest dd is 7 and a half) and since then weight was just piling up until it reached 110kg.
I have to lose weight,i have to. I tried some other things in the past and low gi diet helped me to shed 10kg in 8weeks,but i lost motivation and got back to same thing.
Can anyone give me some good kick advice, how to motivate myself, how to find that inner strength to do things in a right way.
My BIG downfall is eating late ,especially when i come from work (9pm) and over the years it became a habit!!!!!!!!
Are this pills ok and did anyone used them???
Thank you for your time!!!!!SmileSmile

Just to add to what i said above, normally being on a low carb diet I would be going crazy to eat some fattening carbs in the evening, but all these usual cravings have stoped! got to be something magical in these xls medical pills.

MorrisZapp · 02/10/2012 08:38

I've ordered a months worth from amazon, pretty much half the price of boots.

I'll update when I start taking them!

Hi all, have also been thinking of trying xls-medical. I have always been very skeptical about these so called 'miracle' weight loss pills, however, this one caught my attention. It seems safe and does appear to have had good results, some members on this forum appear to already had some good results with it. It must be noted though that you can't just take this, sit down in front of the TV, eat pizza and expect to lose weight. Xls needs to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise. The other thing that put me off a bit was the price, over £60 is a lot of money, especially with money being tight these days. However I did find a website that is offering them at an introductory price of £38.99, which is really cheap. the address is www.medical-specialists.co.uk/chemist-shop/xls-medical.php I am going to try these and will post again in a few weeks to let everyone know how it's going. In the meantime hope the rest of you continue to have good results.

That is weird cjfara - Medical Specialists are who I always get my medications from!!! Never had any problem with them at all and your stuff always arrives the day after. Im not quite overweight just yet but at least i know about this product if i ever do pile on the lbs lol :)

ZZMum · 03/10/2012 11:27

I started last night and weirdly was more hungry than I have ever felt in ages .. but hopefully the effects will be seen soon as am following the low carb routine at the same time .. clearly need a lot of help!

rockabilly74 · 04/10/2012 16:49

hello
has anyone got a success story re XLS medical Fat binder tablets?
Did you change your diet?
How much weight did you lose?

KnockKnockPenny · 04/10/2012 19:19

I started on them 3 days ago, they are quite cheap (compared to Boots etc) on Amazon. I got 120 for £23.

Hi i have just ordered xls-medical,i have used another prescription weight loss aid pill called reductil, which worked wonders it also took away hunger and gave me energy, i had taken them on two individual times in my life and worked well both times, after losing 3 stones of weight and gaining a healthy bmi the doctor took me off them, the weight loss was stable for 1 year after, then in 1 case i got pregnant, and i am now at the 1 year stage after the second usage and have put one and a half stone back on.I hope xls works as well as reductil,we shall see. the no prescription side to these is good for me as i live in spain and going to my medical center is not a nice experience.

NowYouTellMe · 06/10/2012 09:04

I noticed on another forum a warning not to take multi-vitamin tablets when taking these due to the Vitamin A content. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware and good luck everyone!

KnockKnockPenny · 06/10/2012 10:37

NowYouTellMe, you should also avoid liver forthe same reasons :)

You should also not take any other medication within 2 hours of taking the XLS pills, as it may not be absorbed. I have had to change the time that I take my contraceptive pill.

What forum were you reading about it?

NowYouTellMe · 06/10/2012 10:51

I can't remember where I read it now, sorry.

NowYouTellMe · 07/10/2012 19:54

Just wondering how you are all getting along with xls? I'm on day 3 and just eaten my first meal in 24hrs as I just don't have any desire to eat.........I felt very full after almost 3/4 of my usual Sunday Roast. I have been taking 1 tablet after breakfast and lunch (except today when I skipped both meal and tablet) and 2 after each evening dinner. I will force myself to eat breakfast in the morning no matter what as otherwise the whole exercise will be counter-productive. Hope it's working well for you all!

KnockKnockPenny · 07/10/2012 21:24

Im on day 5, andnot noticing anything different at all. I doubt I will have much weightloss when I weigh on Tuesday/Wednesday.

ElectricSoftParade · 07/10/2012 21:29

I have definitely lost some weight as my clothes are feeling a bit looser but I don't know how much as I haven't replaced my scales yet.

I am still feeling full and am pleased with this good start. Hopefully it will continue as I WILL NOT buy any clothes until I have got back down to 11 1/2 stone not even shoes, no.

idoloveabiscuit · 08/10/2012 08:27

I have started on these today.

Was doing the 5:2 but on my non fast days was piling the weight back on. So it was two days of pain for absolutely no gain.

I've read some positive experiences of XLS so I'll let you know how I get on.

KnockKnockPenny · 08/10/2012 08:43

Good luck everyone! I really hope these work for me.

KnockKnockPenny · 08/10/2012 09:59

Started last Tuesday, did a sneaky weigh-in, and as expected I weigh exactly the same.

WeightyKaty · 08/10/2012 13:42

I lost 12 lbs using these in about May time but have put the weight back on since moving house and being generally greedy. Last time I lost at least 2lbs a week.

However i have started again and will try for a month. Along with this I am largely trying to do a low GI diet with exercise of some sort 5 days a week.

Just logged into the website and its really poor for tracking food and exercise as so much stuff is missing. So I'll carry on with MFP to track. I also need to work out when is best to take my pill.

KnockKnockPenny · 09/10/2012 09:24

Ok, I have had my proper weigh in, after exactly 1 week one these with no change in diet I have lost 1.5lbs.

BeckyS723 · 09/10/2012 09:47

If you're on Twitter, I've just seen that XLS are running a giveaway to win a 12 week trial pack (Could be worth it if you're unsure about buying them!)

MorrisZapp · 09/10/2012 12:28

Mine arrived this morning. Operation muffin top kicks off today!

WeightyKaty · 09/10/2012 12:40

I have fat free yoghurt and 60g or oats for breakfast - should I still take 2 pills? Thanks

KnockKnockPenny · 09/10/2012 13:25

I probably wouldnt take any, there is no fat in that meal and they only work on fat.

KnockKnockPenny · 09/10/2012 13:26

Sorry, there rae fats in oats, but I only take 1 pill at breakfast.

awaywego1 · 09/10/2012 13:49

Can I just ask if you can take them 'as and when' ie if I have a day of eating very low fat can I just not take the tablets and take them when I have a fatty meal?
