Just read article in DM about this (i think) new slimming pills. Apparently Mica Paris was using them and she lost two dress sizes in two months.
I am currently 110kg Shock and i used to be 68-75kg pre pregnancy weight (youngest dd is 7 and a half) and since then weight was just piling up until it reached 110kg.
I have to lose weight,i have to. I tried some other things in the past and low gi diet helped me to shed 10kg in 8weeks,but i lost motivation and got back to same thing.
Can anyone give me some good kick advice, how to motivate myself, how to find that inner strength to do things in a right way.
My BIG downfall is eating late ,especially when i come from work (9pm) and over the years it became a habit!!!!!!!!
Are this pills ok and did anyone used them???
Thank you for your time!!!!!SmileSmile

Goon68 · 08/11/2012 08:44

Ok this is gonna sound gross but with Alli I had a prob with gas and with that gas came the excess fat from food (sorry sorry for TMI but it was a big prob), can anyone tell me if the same 'side affect' happens with these?? :-s

Getskinnyordietrying · 08/11/2012 10:18

I had wind at first but completely went after few days (been on these just over a week) nothing too terrible easily disguised or blamed on dog lol

Had a sneaky weigh in and am down another pound in two days! I'm impressed as 1Ib in weight is equal to a 3000calorie deficit (fact)

lillybell30 · 08/11/2012 12:41

Hi everyone, i have just purchased these from amazon (still waiting for them to arrive) and having read everyones posts i am looking forward to starting them. The thing i am worried about is that i am not classed as over weight and my BMI is normal for a 30 year old at my height. The reason i want help in losing weigt is to make myself feel a bit better as i look in the mirror and hate the reflection, i dont eat breakfast and just have quite a few cups of coffee throughout the day then have tea with my children at around 6. Is it worth me taking these and if i do, does that mean i will have to start eating more to actually get some results? dont want to put any weight on and thats what im scared of. Thank you and good luck to everyone trying to gain their goals!!

clairelouise16 · 08/11/2012 14:02

Just completed the stoptober challenge and before that i was cutting down and slowly loosing weight but as i stopped smoking the cravings kicked in so just ate everything in sight. not good put 1stone on in just under 5 weeks so need a really big kick up the bum.
been on the xls medical for 3 full days now, not feeling much of a difference but have changed my diet a lot and started doing more exercise. not noticed a curb in my appetite but not snacked and just gone through the hunger. Not been to toilet yet which is quite worrying.
could do with a buddy to talk to throughout the process
my email is [email protected]

Spannerfingers · 08/11/2012 17:26

Lillybell, are you eating enough fat to get the benefit from XLS?

I'd say you aren't, just coffee thru the day till 6pm isn't enough

Sorry but my 2p worth

.

Spannerfingers · 08/11/2012 17:29

Clairelouise16, drink lots of water, and fruit then the "blockage" will move

take a good 1+ mile walk daily.

Reduce portion sizes

Chew your food a dozen times before you swallow it

.

Spannerfingers · 08/11/2012 18:00

I'm back on for another month, I'm down a stone from the 1st month.

I find it a yoyo weight loss/ gain effect, big losses, small gains but overall a loss.

Small changes help, no fizzy drinks, no sweet snacks, no crisps etc, not for me anyways.......they are in the house for others

Roll on the next 4 weeks

Goon68 · 08/11/2012 19:02

Thanx folks! I had a prob with the excess fat 'exiting' when I went to the loo - soooooo sorry again for TMI!! Just wondered if these were the same? Thank you so much for advice, I am desperate to get down a couple of dress sizes for my sons Graduation! Thank you!! :0)

derrydelfin · 08/11/2012 23:39

iam just wondering.do we eat more fatty foods for Xls works.i didnt understand.iam not normally fatty so much but sometimes goes outof control like kebabs.like today i had normal fried eggs breakfast i had 1tablet after and didnt have lunch at 3 i had chicken nughets and 2 tablet.also chillies is very good for if cant do ur big toilet.take 2 or 3 chilly green pepper i prefare pickels and really works for next morning.)if we cant do big loo we will easy to put on weight u know.

Getskinnyordietrying · 09/11/2012 19:09

What's everyone eaten today? I've fallen off the wagon slightly and want to compare

NikNox41 · 09/11/2012 20:43

I have been dieting for the best part of six months, just eating less fat, less calories etc to lose 2 stone. I reached a 1.5 stone weight loss about 6 weeks ago & just stayed there. So, I bought just a weeks supply of Xls (being the sceptical type) and started them on Wednesday. Ive lost 2lb already & am so impressed I'm going to buy a months worth! They defintitely work, can't be my imagination! No side effects either (so far!)

knobbyhollis · 10/11/2012 16:37

Hi guys after reading your posts decided to give xls medical ago been taking them for 2 days now slight headache and little bowel movement drinking plenty of water I know it's early days yet just hope it works

Goon68 · 11/11/2012 09:14

Sorry to ask but when you have a bowel movement does the excess fat also come out? This happened with Alli and it was so embarrassing, I was unable to even pass wind without 'fat' coming out. I coulnt go through that again!!

Hello all,
I am currently doing pretty well on a generally low cal/low fat diet. (23ib down!!!!) However I am beginning to worry about the Xmas challenges that are looming. I don't want to be a miserable party pooper but equally I dont want to undo all of my good work.
Do you think that these fat binders could be used on an ad hoc basis as a kind of damage limitation when I have a celebratory meal? I think that this might help me stay on the straight and narrow in between rather than descend into a 2 week binge!
TIA

NikNox41 · 11/11/2012 13:03

Hi Crapricorn,

I'm thinking the same as you, and have seen somewhere (think it might have been on a Q&A somewhere) that if you have a particularly fatty meal or over-indulge, you can take 3 tablets and let them work their magic, without being on a course so to speak. I've lost a stone and a half over the past 6 months or so just by cutting back, smaller portions etc., and have got used to this so really want to maintain my now healthy diet, but I really want to lose another half stone and hadn't lost any weight for 6 weeks, hence trying these tablets to just get that last stubborn half stone off. But, I don't want to get back into bad habits and worry about the Xmas season and countless meals out, not to mention Xmas day itself!! I'm definitely going to use these tablets after a hefty meal!

KnockKnockPenny · 11/11/2012 16:28

Goon, no its not like Alli or Xenical at all.

Sorelip · 13/11/2012 11:12

OK, well I've lost 6lb, but only in the last week, because I finally put myself on a low calorie diet and upped the exercise. The XLS seems to be reducing my appetite, though it could just be a placebo effect. Either way, I'm happy.

Getskinnyordietrying · 13/11/2012 11:20

Well done!!! I've lost a total of 9lbs in 2weeks

Sorelip · 13/11/2012 12:07

Nice one Getskinny, how much do you want to lose?

ThatBintAgain · 13/11/2012 16:28

Hello-just found this thread on Google after my mum told me to give these a whirl. I've been flitting from one woe to another this year and getting disillusioned with no success. My mother is a dietician and has done a bit of research into these and reckons this might be a good kick start. I'm also going to just follow Slimming World and not deviate or wander off to some other plan. Reassuring to see that most of you are getting results. Grin

Getskinnyordietrying · 13/11/2012 17:04

3 stone in total (this time last year I only needed to loose two stone after I had my son I was so shocked when I got on the scales I stopped drinking caffeine stopped smoking started eating more healthily and popping this little gems! How about you?
