Just read article in DM about this (i think) new slimming pills. Apparently Mica Paris was using them and she lost two dress sizes in two months.
I am currently 110kg Shock and i used to be 68-75kg pre pregnancy weight (youngest dd is 7 and a half) and since then weight was just piling up until it reached 110kg.
I have to lose weight,i have to. I tried some other things in the past and low gi diet helped me to shed 10kg in 8weeks,but i lost motivation and got back to same thing.
Can anyone give me some good kick advice, how to motivate myself, how to find that inner strength to do things in a right way.
My BIG downfall is eating late ,especially when i come from work (9pm) and over the years it became a habit!!!!!!!!
Are this pills ok and did anyone used them???
Thank you for your time!!!!!SmileSmile

I'm in on this as well

just bought 10 days supply as I know I can't be trusted to take the darn things.

daren't look on amazon as it's dh's account and they very kindly show what you have been browsing. and he'd say it's poppycock. I bought mine for £20 for 10 days worth. I know, I know..........but......................

I have been on a diet for 10 years.........as that info tells you I am crap at it...........I am not expecting a miracle pill but a help in the right direction would be a start Smile

Blackturtle, the reason I am using xls rather than capsiplex or innoveat (mentioned in another post) is that they are endorsed by Boots the Chemist, so I have a bit more faith that they are not rip off capsule. I believe there are many unscrupulous basars out there who would be happy exploit women's anxieties about weight to get rich quick. I guess I just don't trust beauty drugs if they are not endorsed by either the NHS or a large reputable pharma company.

KnockKnockPenny · 18/10/2012 16:32

Slightly buged up today, more water I think?

Spannerfingers · 18/10/2012 17:55

I'm still losing weight, but only in the 1lb or less region per day.

I walked so far yesterday that I've blistered my feet and can't walk today, ouch.

Foolishly I've set a personal target of dropping a full stone (on top of exsting loss) within the next week, so I'm forgoing a lot, alcohol, fruit, fizzy water, bread and portion sizes.

Motivate me people pls.

.

KnockKnockPenny · 18/10/2012 18:21

A stone in a week? Shock is that even possible? O think you have set your goal too high tbh.

Eaves · 18/10/2012 18:39

FIngers crossed , I'm hoping these work and I've got atleast another 2 stone to lose by febuary for my hols :)

cheli1234 · 18/10/2012 18:55

Day 6 of been on these tablets, appitite has reduced, however and don't seem to have lost any weight what so ever! :( starting to think, I've wasted my money now...

melacmark · 18/10/2012 19:11

I have just finished my first box of 30,i have lost 8 pounds but i am feeling hungry today as i was yesterday,as i said before i have taken reductil before and the loss of appetite with them is much more noticeable, but these are better than nothing as hunger is the reason for my failure as a dieter. The box of 30 incedently lasted me 10 days.

melacmark · 18/10/2012 19:14

I have been following weight watchers as well as taking xls,you can't just take these and expect them to do all the work for you you have to control portion size as well as fat and calories, these are supposed to just speed up the results and help with the hunger and energy.

Furball · 18/10/2012 19:28

How many do you take melacmark?

I've just bought a box of 60 for 10 days which I understand to take 1, 2 and 3 per day. Can I eek out more days than that for my dollar?

Eaves · 18/10/2012 19:44

Hi , just been for my weigh in at slimming and I've lost 2.5lbs in a week on these which is a very healthy weight loss ! I'd say these have definitely helped to kick start my weight loss again , 11.5lbs lost so far !!!! :D :D

KnockKnockPenny · 18/10/2012 21:02

Well done Eaves!

Furball, I take netween 5 or 6 a day.

0 if the meal has zero fat in it (no point then)
1 for a light breakfast
2 for a normal lunch or dinner
3 for a particularly heavy/fatty meal

LovingMyMurtletheBlackTurtle · 18/10/2012 21:53

KateeBee,totally agree with you :0). I've been buying the capsiplex from Holland and Barrett. And looking further into it XLS might be a better option financially! Although Holland an Barrett have a loyalty card and you soon clock up the vouchers! I'm a sucker I know! :0)

Furball · 19/10/2012 10:22

thanks knockknock

I've started today and that is what I am planning to do

Barneybubble · 19/10/2012 11:10

After reading all of your blogs I have ordered 120 tabs from amazon. I have lost 7.5lbs in 5 weeks on slimming world plan which is great but gets a bit boring so will try these so that I can have a take away or eat out at the weekends. I'm hoping that my weight loss speeds up slightly as was good last week and stayed the same weight. luckily I don't have too much to loose (10lb) but want to get it off for Xmas. Will keep you posted on progress.

XmontanaX · 19/10/2012 21:27

UPDATE

Lost 7.5lbs in 10 days. Woop!

KnockKnockPenny · 20/10/2012 10:47

Wow, well done!

Ellen2418 · 20/10/2012 13:43

I haven't heard of these new diet pills but I used another make called FULLfast which worked really well for me. I really struggled sticking to diets in the past because I always got bad cravings for things like bread and sugary foods and just felt hungry all of the time. A friend suggested FULLfast and from what I understand it's a natural plant extract that naturally helps balance the hormones in your brain responsible for cravings and mood swings. However it works, it definitely worked for me! I wasn't expecting much but in a couple of days I found it much easier to stick to my diet and eventually I didn't get cravings at all. I've generally done low GI keeping a record on MyFitnessPal and so far have lost just under a stone in a month and a half! Grin I can't recommend it highly enough.

dippyjack · 20/10/2012 13:59

I have been on these for 7 days and have lost no weight :-( I have found that since taking them I have problems going to the loo (if you know what I mean) Any1 else having this problem??

dippyjack · 20/10/2012 14:20

I have been on XLS Medical fat binder and not FULLfast. would be great if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong :-(

Spannerfingers · 20/10/2012 15:21

Dippyjack,

Drink a lot of water during the day, perhaps a laxative if your in trouble.

.

Cjane22 · 20/10/2012 18:49

After reading all of these reviews I have also just purchased 120 tabs from amazon for £18. I think that's a reasonable price to try them out.

I only want to loose a stone I'm not in no rush to loose it but I think if I take these tablets it will help me be more motives to go gym and eat more healthier.

I think the problem with me is that I don't eat breakfast , I drink 1 cup of coffee a day maybe 2 - don't drink enough water. At lunch I will usually have a tesco meal deal with 1 can of diet coke per day...and the occasional snack at work. Because I work such long hours I don't usually eat dinner till about 8/9 o clock at night which is usually chicken or steak or some sort of pasta , that is basically all I eat/drink throughout the day

What are your opinions on my diet as a pose to taking the tablets as im hoping to start next week !

Thanks guys hope it all goes well for you all aswel x

KateeBee · 20/10/2012 22:01

Cjane, I'm no expert but I guess these tablets work best if you are eating 3 meals a day and not snacking as you're meant to take them straight after eating. But they do suppress your appetite so the snacking reduces by itself. So maybe if you just introduce a healthy breakfast then these would suit you down to the ground.

That said - if you only have a stone to shift then you're pretty perfect anyway so maybe save the cash. If you do go with these pills then up the water intake tho, I like others on this thread have noticed it's a bit tougher to poo!

JambalayaCodfishPie · 21/10/2012 11:36

Just bought some of these to help lose the last bit of baby weight before I go back to work.

Tips I've picked up from the thread - drink more water, eat regular meals, more pills for fattier meals, may fart more. Is that about it? Grin

Anything else I need to know?

Spannerfingers · 21/10/2012 13:51

That's about it, but add portion control.
