Just read article in DM about this (i think) new slimming pills. Apparently Mica Paris was using them and she lost two dress sizes in two months.
I am currently 110kg Shock and i used to be 68-75kg pre pregnancy weight (youngest dd is 7 and a half) and since then weight was just piling up until it reached 110kg.
I have to lose weight,i have to. I tried some other things in the past and low gi diet helped me to shed 10kg in 8weeks,but i lost motivation and got back to same thing.
Can anyone give me some good kick advice, how to motivate myself, how to find that inner strength to do things in a right way.
My BIG downfall is eating late ,especially when i come from work (9pm) and over the years it became a habit!!!!!!!!
Are this pills ok and did anyone used them???
Thank you for your time!!!!!SmileSmile

What do you mean by kick in? I had soem appetite reduction after about a week, but nothing besides that. It starts binding fat as soon as you take the first pill, if thats what you mean?

bangersnmash · 15/10/2012 17:09

Hmmm . Then I'm not seeing any effects yet then . I must admit that I do feel a little constipated ( sorry if TMI) so have stepped up the water intake . As I said , was out a lot over the weekend do probably not fair to judge yet .

How much have you lost knockknock ? Are you calorie counting as well ?

KnockKnockPenny · 15/10/2012 17:40

No change to my diet, lost 1.5lb the first week and weigh in again tomorrow. I was eating above 2000 cals aday in my 1st week. My appetite has reduced sincethen, so I am guessing I am eating less cals too.

stelidh · 15/10/2012 17:52

Can anyone please tell me the difference between the fat blocker, the carbs ones or the appetite suppressors (spelling??!! oops!)... Which tablets are best?!

Spannerfingers · 15/10/2012 19:34

Hi all, I started to use xls medical towards the end of last week, I found this site searching for results, so I thought I'd share mine.

I didn't weight myself at first as I thought I'd do the month and weight at weekly points, how wrong I was, in the first 2 days I Lost 2 and a half pounds. Then the next 2 I lost 4 and three quarter pounds.

I am taking 6 pills a day.
Reducing my portions a bit.
Eating fruit.
Not snacking......that's the difficult bit,
Drinking water, not coffee
Walk 1.5miles a day, increasing this to 3miles from this week.

In reality I feel fuller for longer, in the morning I'm not craving food, I can wait till i get to work for breakfast, No 11am cravings, i have a smaller lunch, no headaches, no illness, no funny business in the toilet, also I noticed I'm not tired and feeling sleepy when I get home (some times had a nap about 6pm, I get up at 5am).

All in all I'm happy so far, I'm going to do it for the month, and see where I end up. Ideally I want to lose a few stone, so hopefully it won't hit the wall too early on.

Lets get motivated.

ilovesprouts · 15/10/2012 19:43

hi can anyone send me link so i can read the pros and cons and price please .

KnockKnockPenny · 15/10/2012 20:39

Googling brings up a lot of stuff. The only con i think of so far is the price, though they are much cheaper on Amazon, and that they can bung you up slightly.
Pros are that they bind 27% of dietry fat, are 100% natural and dont really have any side effects.
I got 120 for £17 on Amazon, which lasts around 3 weeks. They are a LOT more at Boots!

KnockKnockPenny · 15/10/2012 20:41

Stel, only the fat binders are medically approved/tested in the UK so I wouldnt use the others.

KnockKnockPenny · 16/10/2012 10:48

2 weeks in, no major change to diet (just the appetie reduction from the pills) and I am 7kbs down :)

KnockKnockPenny · 16/10/2012 10:49

7lbs, sorry.

bellabasil1 · 16/10/2012 12:37

Well done knockknockpenny! I've bought some today after losing nearly 3stone through exercise and eating well but now it's reached a plateau and I am lacking motivation atm so I'm hoping these will help me lose another stone by the end of Nov to help me get closer to my personal target of losing 5stone before the years out.

WeightyKaty · 16/10/2012 14:04

I'm still at 4lbs down after a week but that is in part because I had a v naughty weekend but now back on track.

Wackyjoe · 16/10/2012 18:53

Hi all have been on these pills for 5 days now haven't weighed myself but defo don't feel any different . Also haven't been to the toilet in 5 days ! And I'm not talking about peeing . Worried I'm constipated and pills not working

Wackyjoe · 16/10/2012 20:06

Do they work if ur constipated anyone ?

Everythingsgoingtitsup · 16/10/2012 20:31

Are the tablets big? I'm rubbish at swallowing large tablets and don't want to spend £££ to find out I can't take them. I used to gag on pregnacare and even threw up after taking it a few times so if they are as big as them, probably not for me...

KnockKnockPenny · 16/10/2012 21:17

Wacky, constipation wont stop them working. it is listed as a possible side efect, its listed in the leaflet you got withyour pills.

titsup - They are quite large I'm afarid :(

Wackyjoe · 16/10/2012 21:34

Dd u feel bloated at all the first 5 days ?

Spannerfingers · 17/10/2012 09:28

Drink more water if your constipated,

Perhaps more soft fruit as well.

.

KnockKnockPenny · 17/10/2012 12:11

I did have some bloating, I cut out all fizzy drinks & that solved it for me.

Spannerfingers · 17/10/2012 20:09

Ummm, fizzy drinks

I've been on carbonated water as I can't stand still water, I think I'll have to lose that little pleasure and suffer some more, oh the perils of being eye candy.

.

KateeBee · 17/10/2012 20:40

Does anyone know how many calories each tablet contains ;-)
I've been using these 2days and have lost 4lbs. My story is similar to many others on this thread, i'm about 3 stone over weight, started 2:5 diet and jogging a few months back, but weight loss was very slow (6lbs in 6 weeks). Wanted a boost so bought 120 xls from amazon (was worried they might be fake as so much cheaper than everywhere else, but they seem to be working). Appetite is reduced and so far so good for weight loss - I've only bought a 1 month supply but will report back when done......

Wackyjoe · 17/10/2012 22:33

Do u think u can actually put weight on with these tablets , feeling that way at,the min

KnockKnockPenny · 18/10/2012 07:32

I suppose if you eat a lot you could.

bangersnmash · 18/10/2012 11:39

I'm on day 6 now and my appetite has dropped dramatically this last 24 hours . I've lost 3 lbs so far but these are the annoying 3 lbs that have been yo-yo'ing for a while . Hence trying these pills . Will report back after the weekend with progress .

LovingMyMurtletheBlackTurtle · 18/10/2012 12:09

Hi all,
Have recently become a member, after stumbling across this thread after looking into XSL medical. I am thinking about giving this a go,I have currently been taking capsiplex which has helped speed up my weight lose. I haven't experienced any side effects from it. I don't know wether to stick to it or try something else, thing is it is cheaper and you only need take one a day. Maybe I've answered my own question!
Good luck all,it's nice to hear how everyone is getting on :0)
