Just in case anyones up and about early.

Don't email anyone, just post your weight (ideally for me!) or if you can't face it, just post your loss.

Good Luck and I'll e-mail you all the chart on Thursday with our progress.

Come on girls - we can do this

I know it's been tough this week for us as the buzz of our resolution has started to wear off. I know all I can see is weeks of not eating lovely foods (well, chocolate mostly) and horrible exercise. But I also know that I'm going to be soooooo proud of myself when I see the scales a stone lighter (and maybe more if I'm very good ).

I know it's tough but we can help each other through this. Good luck tomorrow to you all.

longwaytogo · 16/01/2006 21:09

I don't seem to be contributing to this thread very much but will try and be better honest Been eating a little bit better but could be a lot better. Have been walking a lot though two or three times last week and down to playgroup and back today. So hopefully that wil account for something. DH birthday on Fri so can't promise i'll be good then.

Loobz · 16/01/2006 21:38

Haven't contributed at all to this thread this week. Have had a really stressful week with a family bereavement, a new premature baby in the family who had to have surgery and an ill dd - am shattered.
Will weigh myself tomorrow and hope that I haven't gained. If I do then I will be positive and it will just need to come off again next week

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 21:45

Wish I could jump in here like mr Motivator but I've been a lazy cow today I haven't gone off the rails diet wise but I've basically spent all day on MN - tell a lie - I found it too stressful so had a nap this afternoon DH is off work again so I'm going swimming in the morning before I weigh in on here, I'll try not to drink too much of the pool!

I must recommend the ww chocolate brownie deserts - 99p in tesco for 2 and they are really tasty!

JenumGeranium · 16/01/2006 21:45

Thats the right attitude Loobz!

Sorry to hear about all your stresses.

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 21:46

Loobz sorry you've had a crappy week, sounds awful!

JenumGeranium · 16/01/2006 21:46

Ooh they sound yummy! I have to go to Tescos tomorrow as well - what luck!

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 21:52

JG - the brownie ones and the banoffee ones are the best, we had a chocolate cheesecake one and it was a bit dry and crumbly - not very nice at all. I have been having dinner later and then saving my ww desert until about 9pm so that I don't get the munchies in the evening.

Crystaltips · 16/01/2006 22:02

I have lost 3lbs .....
Thanks furball

JenumGeranium · 16/01/2006 22:06

That is a great idea bubblerock! Its about that time too that I get the munchies! I have just had a cup of tea so am feeling ok at the mo.

I think I have had the cheesecake ones before actually and I remember them not being too nice! Will try the others [dribble emoticon]

Am off to bed now to have a read. I will weigh myself in the morning!

hullabaloo · 16/01/2006 22:46

OK if we're on yummy diet treat recommendatios then I've got a cracker. It's 155 cals of pure heaven in a glass. (OK it's not THAT low but it's FAB!) It's "not just any chocolate pudding, it's an M&S count on us Chocolate Mocha dessert" It's basically chocolate and coffe liqeur sauce (like tiramisu only runny) with a chocolate mousse a blob of cream and coffee bean on top. All served up in a tall glass. 2 for £2....

Anyway, onto what goodies have passed these lips today.
Brekkie - corn flakes and a banana
Snack - 2 celebrations (I tried SO hard to resist but they won!)
Lunch - ham salad
Dinner Big salad with a slice of quiche
evening snack Activia fig yogurt

Would've killed for that M&S pud though!

UCM · 16/01/2006 23:06

Wow - feeling moist already

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 23:08

UCM!!

UCM · 16/01/2006 23:09

Right, am on here as I want to post my weight, tonight cos' I have still lost another 4lbs, tomorrow may be another story though. so if I have only lost 2lbs tomorrow, it's water retention!!!

hullabaloo · 16/01/2006 23:09

UCM you're a shocker! (but YES it was THAT good!)

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 23:09

At least they've stopped the m&s advert with the chocolate sponge with cream and chocolate sauce oozing out!

hullabaloo · 16/01/2006 23:10

You go girl! What a fab weight loss!! And sorry for the American twang that slipped in there!

hullabaloo · 16/01/2006 23:12

I know bubblerock those adverts shouln't be allowed on TV. But on a brighter note none of the stuff in the new ads is really doing it for me!

UCM · 16/01/2006 23:13

Cheers Girls

UCM · 16/01/2006 23:20

I also walked somewhere that I would normally go by bus today. It was horrid. I felt good but it started to rain and I didn't have DS rain cover. Arghaaaah! So I had to get on a bus, the sort that do not take children in buggies. The ones where you have to take the child out of the buggy, fold it up and board. All of this time the bus driver is sitting there looking bored. In the meantime DS trod dog poo all over the bus, not the seats mind you. But Heh heh. Well, I did ask him to help me.
