Just in case anyones up and about early.

Don't email anyone, just post your weight (ideally for me!) or if you can't face it, just post your loss.

Good Luck and I'll e-mail you all the chart on Thursday with our progress.

Didn't offend me UCM

I'm off swimming now, it's a lovely sunny day today, I'm going to take DS1 as he's just learnt to swim and we'll have a jacuzzi together afterwards Have a good day everyone.

niccick · 14/01/2006 11:52

All I have to say about today is that I have been very very bad and I am going to kick my own ass tomorrow.

The one good thing about today is that I drank more water than I usually would.

Oh and by the way I wasn't offended by the post UCM.

Hope everyone is having a good day and is being posititve.

figleaf · 14/01/2006 11:57

I`ve just fallen foul of a box of shortbread biscuits. Will try harder.

SleepyJess · 14/01/2006 13:52

I have the Jordan Workout.. it's fab.. lots of 'body combat' type stuff in it (boxing) which I used to do at a proper class. DD and I have just done it. (She is 7.. she didn't do all of it!) My legs feel like jelly now lol...

I went and got it from a local shopping centre last night and queued for 2 hours for her to sign it. She wrote 'To 'sleepyjess'.. (well.. my name!).. love Jordan'

She looked very pretty. I like her and her attitude and the way she is just always 'herself' regardless of what people say to her and about her.

Annnnyway... doubt you are interested in my saddo 'queueing to see Jordan' experience, lol.. so am off for a bath (wish we had a shower..)

SJ x

SleepyJess · 14/01/2006 13:52

Oh and the Jordan workout has a good diet plan on the dvd. (And a rather crap interview!)

amouse · 14/01/2006 13:54

hi I'm just joining this thread after a little chat with some of you last night.
This week I have lost 3lbs (even though I binged on Friday) so I am now 9st 2lb.
I would like to be 8 stone for my holiday in June so I can look presentable in a bikini

amouse · 14/01/2006 13:54

sorry forgot to ask what day is weigh in?

DustAnyone · 14/01/2006 14:36

Tuesday

bubblerock · 14/01/2006 15:09

Welcome Amouse! I'm trying to get down to 8 stone too, well done for losing 3 lb already that's a great start.

I did 30+ lengths (not full size pool) at the gym, I was the only one in the pool, that's what I like about our gym, it's so quiet even at the weekends. Then DH went to the gym and weighed in - he's lost 8 lb in a week!!! He's so chuffed but he desperately needs to lose weight he's put a lot on since quitting smoking.

amouse · 14/01/2006 15:34

wow 30 lengths thats fab, would love ti swim but I find it makes me even more hungry so try to steer clear, probably from when i was little and you always got to go to the snack machines after swimming
how much do you have to loose?

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 14/01/2006 15:38

I havent been to good today but I am allowed cause its my birthday Will be back on my diet tomorrow although I havent gone crazy, I had pizza for lunxh and will be having some cheesecake later.

bubblerock · 14/01/2006 15:42

It's really not a big pool I had a lovely sauna afterwards - almost as good as a chocolate bar! I started at 9 stone and lost 2 lbs last week and I'm hoping to get to 8 stone which is my 'normal' weight. It's difficult when you have a small frame because as soon as you put on a couple of pounds you can really feel it can't you?

I'm just eating healthily and exercising, actually enjoying it at the moment.

busywizzy · 14/01/2006 19:10

Welcome amouse and good luck on reaching your target weight.

sylvev · 14/01/2006 20:38

Thanks for the chart figleaf. It's great to see how well we are all doing!
I have been reasonably well-controlled this week, avoided the scales so far and spent all day today walking round the sales in Birmingham, so that must have used up a few calories!

Tips for stopping the evening nibbling:
Manicure your nails;
Knit or sew or cross stitch (I made a pair of curtains last week);
Get your partner, or anyone who's available and willing to massage your back/feet/neck & shoulders;
Pluck your eyebrows;
Browse through catalogues choosing clothes for your new shape.
Any other ideas would be welcomed.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Earlybird · 14/01/2006 20:41

Someone told me to floss/brush your teeth so that you're not inclined to eat more before bed as flossing is a bit of an effort. Also, toothpaste will make snacks taste terrible for a little while....

I'm bracing myself to join you all on Tuesday, so will see if those tips are any help at all...

bubblerock · 14/01/2006 20:54

LOL Sylvev, I read that as let your partner pluck your eyebrows - NO way on this earth is he touching my eyebrows!!

omtmum · 14/01/2006 20:58

Having an awful couple of days. No energy at all but ds's up each at least twice for three nights which makes for a very grumpy mummy who just wants to eat the whole biscuit tin.. will try and put it behind me and restart tomorrow am.

Keep up all the good work everyone

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 15/01/2006 10:49

Been TOTALLY off the wagon this week, but i now know why - AF arrived this morning!

All i want to do is curl up on the sofa with a BIG bar of choccy - so im going to! Promise to be back on the wagon on Tuesday - but weight loss this week 0 - weight gain this week - 5lbs!

Everything i lost last week has gone back on!

sylvev · 15/01/2006 11:58

Bubblerock, yes a very scary thought, I've seen the mess my dh can make with the tools he's allowed to have i.e. saw, drill, hammer etc. Tweezers and my eyebrows would be well out-of bounds! Probably best to keep all sharp objects out of their reach altogether !!

hullabaloo · 15/01/2006 18:05

Hi everyone, well I have been absent for a few days (kitchen is getting done and driving me insane!)and I haven't had a chance to read all the posts but will try later. As my kitchen is in disarray, I've been eating out a bit more but not been too bad. Friday had a good day but then went out for an Indian! I ordered the tandoori king prawn but left the sauce , ate the salad and only had a small spoonful of rice. Too be honest it was still loads!
Saturday I was good all day too but we were at a party in the evening so had a few drinks and enjoyed the salad type options at the buffet. Today I had a slice of toast, some soup and a slice of crusty bread and am having a roast ham fo dinner. Not a great weekend for me really but it could have been MUCH worse!

bubblerock · 15/01/2006 19:03

Had a pretty good day today, did my workout video again - they actually get easier because you get used to the routine and don't spend half the time trying to figure out where your arm or leg goes I'm so unco-ordinated

I had bran flakes for breakfast, crunchy nut cornflakes for lunch, ww tagliatelle with some rice for dinner. No snacks just water and tea. I'll have a yogurt or ww desert later.

I'm still not feeling any different clothes wise but I have more energy which is good and I'm actually enjoying the feeling of being in control.

unicorn · 15/01/2006 19:31

bubblerock, you sound like you are doing really well.

me? well still off the drink, so an achievement.
brekkie... cornflakes
lunch.. innocents smoothie (they are lovely)
dinner.. roast potatoes, veg lattice carrots broccoli stuffing and yorkshire pud (eek)
Water, water, water.

doubt if I have lost much this week tho.. need to step up the exercise.

Charlee · 15/01/2006 19:54
