Just in case anyones up and about early.

Don't email anyone, just post your weight (ideally for me!) or if you can't face it, just post your loss.

Good Luck and I'll e-mail you all the chart on Thursday with our progress.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 13/01/2006 20:10

cadburys creams eggs are the number one selling item of confectionary at this time of year!!

Theres only 174 cals in one though.

JenumGeranium · 13/01/2006 20:16

How come at this time of year?

They always make me think of Easter!

busywizzy · 13/01/2006 20:17

Tamba, no don't you start as well

Cream eggs are bad, cream eggs are bad, cream eggs are bad

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 13/01/2006 20:17

From now until easter apparntly. They get a huge marketting push towards the end of Jan and the advertisments start to air. They prepare for easter early in the advertising world

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 13/01/2006 20:19

Only 31 more cals than a banana!!!!

busywizzy · 13/01/2006 20:20

174 x X = ?????

Even if X is 2 that's way too big a number I've been saintly today with my food and exercising so will not spoil it at this time of night. Am going to watch Eastenders (what's left of it) with DD as she can't have an egg (she's asked about a million times in the past half hour) so won't be able to have one whilst I'm with her. Gosh I'm good today

busywizzy · 13/01/2006 20:21

Aaaarrrggghhh - Tamba, you are very bad

JenumGeranium · 13/01/2006 20:23

Hope you didnt watch Corrie busywizzy as they have cream eggs advertised in the break!

Sorry - cream eggs are bad.......cream eggs are bad!

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 13/01/2006 20:29

figleaf · 13/01/2006 20:30

Hope tranquillity can return

busywizzy · 13/01/2006 20:36

Figleaf, that's fantastic. Thank you for doing this for everyone and for changing the subject for this evening. This thread was going very bad

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 13/01/2006 20:38

got it thank you

unicorn · 13/01/2006 21:00

got it, thanks to everyone for putting all this hard work in - shame you can't burn calories by doing weight charts

today I have had..
Cornflakes
fried egg roll (I know naughty - but nice!)
Fish and chips (well it is Friday!)
and a small bar of chocolate

As I am still not drinking I am feeling quite virtuous, so am not being too fussed on cutting down the food front yet... next week, when I haven't lost anything will be the shock probably.

Exercise.. yes, I will get round to doing some more (after my dance class on Tuesday I was aching all over!)

Good luck for the weekend again everyone!

bubblerock · 13/01/2006 21:17

Hi Fig - I just emailed you x

Okay... up until today I was enjoying this thread, it has encouraged me, given me ideas and I hope enabled me to help others. So... I am not going to let today spoil something that I have been enjoying! Also having seen the chart and how well everyone is doing I really don't want to go.

Dust anyone - stay too, I neeeeed yoooouuuuu, don't leave meeeeeee

BB's on now so I will have to be quick (sad case, I know) I've been good foodwise today, branflakes & soya milk, Rice, beans and salad and a yogurt, plain jacket potato and ww pizza with salad. I did most of the penny lancaster dvd early this morning.

I went to Iceland yesterday and bought lots of weightwatchers meals and desserts, there were lots of different ones and they were only £1 - £1.50 I just like to have easy stuff in the freezer for when I can't be bothered to cook as that's when we'll give in to a takeaway!

Can you lot kick me up the arse tomorrow and make me go swimming?

UCM · 13/01/2006 21:59

Yayyyyyy!

busywizzy · 13/01/2006 22:03

Hello Bubblerock - really glad you're staying

DustAnyone · 13/01/2006 22:41

Bubblerock ... and Figleaf, thank you.

Ok.... been really good again today and don't even feel like cheating. This thread is helping me so much, stopping me snacking in the evenings that I really can not stop posting.

I will be slim be the Summer!

UCM · 13/01/2006 22:53

12 Week old child was subjected to abuse by her 19 year old babysitter & her boyfriend. The repeatedly raped her over a 2 month period.

They were sentenced to

Alan Webster; 12 years (could be out after 6)

tanya French 5 years (could be out after 2.5)

Please help us mumsnetters increase their sentences. All you need to do is email:

[email protected]

and tell them why you think these animals should stay behind bars for life.

If enough of us do this within 28 days of the animals being sentenced they will increase their sentence.

Earlybird · 13/01/2006 22:53

Back in the UK as of today, and gearing up to join all of you on Tuesday.

It's time for emergency measures....I was too heavy before Christmas, and then proceeded to eat far too much over the holiday season with the (lame) justification that I'd be dieting in January.

Will definitely be looking to get/give lots of support - especially as I usually lose motivation at about 6 weeks in when I've lost around a stone....

TaiTai · 13/01/2006 23:50

DustAnyone,

I wasn't implying you were thick, I certainly didn't use that word. What I meant by saying the problem was at the user's end was simply that it was unlikely to be Furball's fault because some of us got it fine, and so the problem was to do with the receiver for WHATEVER reason. I do think Bubblerock came across as, at best, ignorant of the work levels involved and I was trying to support Furball who seemed fed up and hacked off and said she didn't know if she could be bothered to continue.

UCM · 14/01/2006 00:00

Sorry peeps, if I offended you by my posting about the baby. I have been suitably told off.
