2012 - New Years Day - The Cambridge Diet - Sole Source - Weight loss

I weigh over 25 stones. I expect to weigh more than this on New Years Day after all the festive scoff is over.

I am going to start the Cambridge Diet - Sole Source - on New Years Day.

I have found my Consultant and we have met, she lost 13 stones in 9 months and has kept the weight off for over 7 years!

4 Cambridge choc mint shakes per day.

3 - 4 litres of water per day.

Anybody else planning on starting The Cambridge Diet in 2012? Come join me and we can support each other.

Ohbloody - are you doing SS, or SS+ ? I started on SS+, there is no way I could have coped with SS!

And you're doing really well Cockneydad!

I'm doind ss, I thought if I ate it might make me more hungry!!

• Hey ohbloody - my consultant doesn't bother with SS - she seems to think that very few people can cope with it - I wonder if it is worth considering SS+ if you continue to struggle, it works just as well.

Hi all, I am still here but had a really bad day today - carbs and everything Going to get back on the wagon tomorrow but feel bad today. Not even sure what triggered it.

Think there is about 5 left - we're dwindling fast!!

ok can anyone summarose who is still here and what stage we are at?

Me: 4 weeks in - struggling alot but lost about 20 lb which is a real result for me.

I'm here! 6 weeks in, nearly 2 stone down, good days, some not so good days, but sticking with it for as long as possible ! 20lb in 4 weeks, thats very good, going !

Still here 8wks 2st 4lbs loss,hoppfully back on track again been on SS+ for one week now no cheating .

well done all. I have bee mini cheating most days but will really try to stick rigidly to SS+ tomorrow. It is so difficult when you have such a long way to go!

I'm still here although not CDing anymore, am calorie counting and its going well. 30 lbs down and am down from a very tight size 16, to a comfortable 12. Would like to lose another stone if I can.

Weight in tonight for me - think I'm about 3lb down this week - nearly at the 2 stone mark 6.5 weeks in, so going quite well. Hope everyone else is a loser !

... well I managed to get shot of 4.75 lb ! I am a little amazed ! Hope next week goes as well.

Weigh in today and after a good 10 days i have lost 9lbs.

Well I weighed myself today, after my first week of calorie counting and I am down 2lb, which I am really pleased with - I am now under 11 stone - which is the smallest I have been for 15 years
