Don't really do Doctors if I can avoid them. If the eardrum goes then I will have to concede and get antibiotics, hopefully it won't come to that.

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:01

I'm just a complete wimp. I'd have been down the docs at the first twinge.

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:02

Anyway, why are you up so late???

MrsSpoon · 08/01/2006 00:11

Cause I don't want to go to bed with said sore ear.

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:12

Good excuse for being on MN all night then. I applaude your ingenuity...

MrsSpoon · 08/01/2006 00:15

LOL!

BTW IME Drs no use when it comes to bursting eardrums by the time you get the antibiotics it is usually too late the eardrum has gone, never yet had them in time to know whether they would have stopped the bursting.

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:16

Going to have to bow out disgracefully MrsSpoon. Got the honourable Mr Fleming tomorrow morning....

And am killing way too many threads tonight (4 in active convos alone!)

Hope you can get some sleep and are feeling better tomorrow. x

MrsSpoon · 08/01/2006 00:18

LOL! We are afternoons now [sticking tongue out emoticon]! Night, night!

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:20

So not fair !!!!! Ah well, he'll be gone tomorrow so can get back to acting normal again lol.

MrsSpoon · 08/01/2006 00:21

All the piercings and mohawks will be back next week. I know you lot!

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:23

Yep! Can show my many tattoos off with pride again...

MrsSpoon · 08/01/2006 00:24

Hee, hee, I'm going off now too definately need paracetemol.

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:26

All the sensible dieters are sleeping soundly, resting so they can go on a 10 mile sprint tomorrow in the persuit of perfection, so we are not actually hijacking anything at the present moment.

Off to bed for me too. Night night. x

myturn · 08/01/2006 00:27

persuit?? pursuit??

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 08/01/2006 10:28

Well after a LOVELY lie-in this morning, I have just had

3 slices grilled bacon - fat removed
2 eggs fried in fry light spray
2 slices NIMBLE toast

1 pear.

Actualyl feel rather full now, so hoping that will see me through until about 1pm-ish

Not sure what Im having for lunch, but have got Beef Casserole (slow cooker style) for tea - jam packed full of veg, and VERY lean diced beef - with bisto gravy (the 95% fat free one) and a few herbs.

Actually - still have some of the Quorn bolognaise left from last night, so may re-heat that and eat that at lunch time.

JenumGeranium · 08/01/2006 11:12

After an energetic night of intimacy with DH I feel inspired to do more excercise! If I havnt lost any weight after last night I'm gonna sulk!

Anyway, I was thinking of doing some running - just around the block or something - but should I start off walking fast or jogging (need to find my sports bra!). I cant rememeber the last time I ran!

And I really must put together my air walker thing!

JenumGeranium · 08/01/2006 11:42

I have just registered on the Cancer Research Race for Life! I am going to start walking around the block - will go and get dressed and start now not dressed at 11.40!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 08/01/2006 11:45

im not dressed either!

its sunday so unless im going out, i never get dressed!

JenumGeranium · 08/01/2006 11:46

Oh good I dont feel so bad now!

JenumGeranium · 08/01/2006 11:47

I will go and get dressed and go for a walk - honest. I'm not dithering about or anything

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 08/01/2006 12:06

Im not dressed either - I have just woke up

But i did go out last night - feeling a bit groggy now, dont think i'll be eating much today

Loobz · 08/01/2006 12:08

I had a really bad day yesterday - well not so much day as evening - ate the biggest load of junk. with myself as I was doing so well.
This is normally where I would lose it but I am determined - one bad day does not equal one bad week
I know that I struggle with weekends so I need to think of some strategies to put in place to help keep me on the straight and narrow. Think I might go for a long walk later - it is lovely up here - very frosty and very cold but nice and sunny with it.
Off to finish making a rich fruit cake for a friend for Burns night. Sick of the sight of them - made so many christmas cakes this year - on the bright side at least I wont eat this one

JenumGeranium · 08/01/2006 12:15

OMG I did it!

I walked quite fast around the block twice! Notched up 1530 steps on my pedometer!

Feeling quite good actually!

I am off now for a shower [holding nose emoticon]
and then will have a nice healthy lunch!

TaiTai · 08/01/2006 14:34

Hi UCM
I've emailed you with my details so you can (kindly) add me to the dreaded Chart.

Look forward to working with you, Ladies.

DustAnyone · 08/01/2006 19:59
