jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 08:31

morning girls....

i was naughty and jumped on the scales this morning....

LOST 4lbs! Surely this isnt normal? Ive only been dieting since tuesday?! 4lbs in 4 days is 1lb a day! Even DH clarified my weight loss as i couldnt believe it!

Just need to stay good, and hopefully stick at the 4lbs til tuesday!

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 09:47

Wow well done!

I bet I havnt lost anything. When I started with WW a little while ago I lost 3lbs the first week, so it could be normal I guess.

I have been a lot better than normal this week with my eating habits, but I have had a few treats now and again - I will be much better next week as DH is joining me on a health kick!

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 09:55

Can I just ask something.........

Ok I have been drinking my 2ltrs of water every day now since Tuesday so when I go for a wee, so how come its a strange yellow colour and not clear like I thought it would be?

Can taking supplements / vitamins affect it do you think, cos I have started taking those too!

myturn · 07/01/2006 12:07

Well done jarm!! 4lbs in 4 days is incredible .

Jenum, I think vitamins and supplements can change the colour of your urine thought I'm not 100% positive. Do you feel ok otherwise? (Only asking as I have just had the most horrendous urine infection and wouldn't wish it on anyone...)

Went jogging again this morning. Found it so much harder than yesterday for some reason. Had to stop a few times but at least I managed the 'big hill' in one go. I hope it starts getting easier soon...

bubblerock · 07/01/2006 12:12

Well done on 4lbs so far!! - I think I'll go on the freddo diet too I was going to go swimming this morning but I am so stiff from that dvd yesterday and woke up with fantastic 'womens' cramps so I wimped out and let DH go, I might have a go with the penny smith yoga dvd later on.

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 15:00

myturn - apparantly its cos I am taking Vitamin B. I posted on another thread to see if anyone else knew!

I am feeling ok in myself so must just be that!

myturn · 07/01/2006 15:25

That's good, phew!

jambuttie · 07/01/2006 15:29

Settled twins for their wee siesta at 1pm ds1(4 yrs) was happily playing with his toys and I felt redundant

Housework all done, ironing too.

I was doing well today too only had
3oz fruit n fibre with ss milk
banana
tangerine
corned beef and tomato sandwich

UNTIL

They went to sleep
I ate my way through 4 packets of french fries, a flake and a curly wurly

God i need my jaws wired

appyday · 07/01/2006 15:30

Thanks Doctor JenumGeranium, solves my worry too.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 16:43

Jam - dont worry - back on the wagon tomorrow though ok!

Been ok today i guess... not fab though...

bowl of shreddies with semi-skimmed milk
poached eggs on toast

95% fat free ham sandwich (using Nimble low fat bread)

banana

1 white chocolate coin

and having quorn mince spaghetti bolognaise for tea with fruit salad for pudding - no juice, just the fruit - banana, apple, pear, melon, oranges

omtmum · 07/01/2006 16:43

Jambuttie...impressive relapse!

the thing to do is not think that is that and give up altogether. just carry on and next time you feel bored have a plan in place so that you know what to do..also put chocolate and crisps under BIG lock and key.

also suspect with twins and a 4yr old you will have burned off those calories already

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 07/01/2006 16:45

Hmmm I am having a day off today it seems

I went to the pub for lunch earlier and had..

loaded potatoe wedges with cheese and bacon
chicken, cheese and bacon stack with chips

also, going out tonight and will be drinking
and probably eating crap too

had 2 lemonade and limes.

opps

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 16:46

No probs appyday!

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 16:48

Never mind Tamba - just enjoy!

I am having a day off today (like the other few days were on - lol) - went to pizza hut for lunch, but I had one of their lower fat ones (v tasty) and a salad with no dressing and a diet coke - so wasnt too bad, could have been worse!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 16:48

weekends are hard, but stick with it girls.... WE CAN DO THIS

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 16:48

Ooops forgot about the twix I had when I got home!

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 16:50

You are doing really well jarm!

I am finding it hard I must admit.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 16:52

ive got DH on my case which helps, and pictures of me in my wedding dress on my fridge - it was a size 12 and fitted like a glove - im now a size 16 and my dress wont touch me - my goal is to get back into it by the summer hopefully.

i am finding it touch but im finding it easier as the days go by.

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 16:54

Good for you!

I will have dh on the case next week when he decides to start. I shouldn't have started this week really as dh kept eating naughty stuff!

I have NO willpower

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 16:57

DH isnt on the diet - my god, he's skinny as a rake anyway, but he knows what my goals are, and he knows ive got a wardrobe full of size 12's for the summer that i want to wear after having been pg for 2 years running!

He eats his "yummy" stuff out of my sight or gets a kicking where it hurts!

JenumGeranium · 07/01/2006 17:00

See your dh is obviously a very caring man (or else doesnt want to risk a kicking where it hurts!) where mine doesn't really care about what he eats in front of me!

His usual trick is to come in from work on a sat morning asking - do you want a bacon roll? I very occasionally have one but usually dont bother and I always have to say to him - no I am trying to cut down!

WideWebWitch · 07/01/2006 17:14

Today I've had
1 piece wholemeal toast with olive spread and marmite
half an avocado
10 cherry tomatoes
an apple
a sliver of Edam
most of a 200g packet of smoked fish, mackeral, trout, salmon
about 5 nuts
a pinch of vanilla pumpkin seeds

Screwballmuppet · 07/01/2006 17:50

Hang on for me....I'll make an official start on monday 9th weighing in then, really not looking forward to that...last time I looked I'd gained a stone.

UCM - am I still in time to join in with the chart?
what do I need to email you if so??
