Got to goal on weightwatchers for my holidays in October, went 1st week in November and had only put 4lb on! I was very pleased with myself. Have ate everything in sight since and have gone up a whole dress size and none of my jeans fit me anymore So, I'm back to weightwatchers on Monday. Can you explain to me about the chart please, Furball? I'm new to this site but think I may need some moral support.

sylvev · 07/01/2006 19:31

Bit of a day off for me too, had to go to in-laws for post-christmas meet-up. Didn't do too badly! Had 3 (small) glasses of wine and 1 portion of pudding as well as dinner. Oh, 3 after eight mints, also.

I haven't started exercising yet, well done to everyone who has so far. I'll wait until my weight loss stops and then start!(assuming there will be some weight loss that is)

Furball · 07/01/2006 19:52

Right, as I said further down. I will start a new thread on a Tuesday for you to post either you weight (which would make my job easy peasy!) or if you don't want to do that post your loss. I will add it to the chart and email it to you individually on a Thursday.

For anyone who doesn't know, the Chart is just a list of names and weights and losses so we can all see how we are doing. If you want to add your name on. Email via UCM her address is at the beginning of the thread and she'll pass the info on to me.

Furball · 07/01/2006 20:50

Bubblerock
My Turn
Nutmeg

I haven't got your email addresses so if you could send an email to UCM's email address at the beginning of the thread and she'll forward them on to me.

Thanks

well... the good news is despite being at a house party with much vino on offer..... I *didn't succumb.

The bad.. well eating not too hot today.. started well... weetabix..
then got to party and lots of nibbles, crisps prawn canapes...
came home and had fish and chips.

so not so good... but crossed my first major hurdle re social events and drinking.. so don't feel too bad.
How's everyone else?

busywizzy · 07/01/2006 21:20

Jambuttie, if you're going to have a relapse - do it in style, that's my motto

Not too bad here today (at least for a weekend)

2 x crumpets for brekkie
Grapes
KFC crispy strip meal at lunchtime (absolutely no choice as in the car taking DD to pantomine and it was the only place we could find)
1 x ryvita, satsuma and apple
Stuffed pepper with salad

Have decided Saturday is going to be my 'treat' day so am now off to have a few squares of chocolate and a glass of vino

Have drunk lots of water today which I'm pleased about but no exercise as out most of the day.

Tuesday's getting closer !!!!!!!!!!

bubblerock · 07/01/2006 21:21

I had an email from UCM so she has got my email address
it's bubblerockjl25 at aol.com

I have just done 30 minutes of Penny smiths yoga dvd (will continue after BB) and it's fab, I'd forgotten how wonderful yoga is, I definately recommend it. I'm suffering after yesterdays workout and still able to do this yoga. It's £2.99 in woolies at the moment!

myturn · 07/01/2006 21:23

Will do furball.

Well I have blown it big time. Indian takeaway, bottle of wine, fruit cake.... (I ate the last, was not just describing what I am).

Feel like a fat bloater now. After being so good going running this morning too. Am suitably ashamed

busywizzy · 07/01/2006 21:24

Bubblerock - exercise on a Saturday night Your dedication puts me to shame ................ either that or you're mad

busywizzy · 07/01/2006 21:26

Does 'intimacy' with DH count as exercise Maybe I can include that in my working out three times a week plan

bubblerock · 07/01/2006 21:38

But TV's rubbish tonight and it looked quite a nice dvd which it is, have got mega period pains and exercise is supposed to help so I either curl up on the sofa or try to work through it.

I need to have a little whinge now...

I really thought I had crap will power but looking at you lot, I am feeling pretty good. I'm going to be harsh now because we are supposed to be supporting each other but we're only in week one and you guys are eating junk food already!!!

It's not like you're having a small treat everyday which would be totally acceptable,I know It's not feasible to live on rabbit food.

No one else can diet for you! Of course I could say nevermind when you've pigged out because it's not me that's eaten it and not me that has to suffer the consequences.

Remember... just say NO

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 21:40

im with you busy - intimacy is my level of exercise at the momnet - or pacing the floor with Rebecca.... she's still poorly - and even with a poorly baby, i can just about manage to stay on track - have had 2 slices of toast just now though - should have had the freddo bar instead!

myturn · 07/01/2006 22:42

Feeling suitably chastised bubblerock

I will be so so good tomorrow, I promise!

bubblerock · 07/01/2006 22:47

LOL, I just don't want to read about all these yummy foods on here, it makes me hungry - I'm off to bed now.

myturn · 07/01/2006 22:59

Ok, even the mention of yummy food like chinese takeaways will never pass my lips again. Scouts honour. G'night.

MrsSpoon · 07/01/2006 23:00

Myturn!

myturn · 07/01/2006 23:15

What?? Didnt you know I am a Scout??

myturn · 07/01/2006 23:16
MrsSpoon · 07/01/2006 23:22

Ha! I did read further down in this thread at your takeaway, wine and cake confession! Respect, I don't know where you put it!

busywizzy · 07/01/2006 23:41

Bubblerock, I really did have to eat KFC for lunch - it was either that or nothing

Tonight, I've had a glass of wine and four squares of dairy milk chocolate as my weekly treat and that's it. This despite DH eating his way through a whole tube of pringles whilst sitting right next to me on the sofa I also resisted any of the chocolate from two selection boxes DD brought home from her pantomine - one for her and one for DS who is only 9 months!! DH also munched his way through a fair bit of that as well

Tomorrow I think I'll go and buy that Yoga video as I've been wanting to get into this for ages. No time like the present

myturn · 07/01/2006 23:45

MrsSpoon, I put it all in my mouth unfortunately and not the bin which is where it should have gone. Don't know what went wrong today - have been so good all week. Exercising like a maniac. Perhaps that's it - I needed extra calories due to the increase in muscle tone!! (Yeah, like that would happen...)

UCM · 07/01/2006 23:50

Just wanted to add a word, The Chart, is something that you are all part of, just as if you had gone to Weight watchers, Slimming world etc. WE are all in this together and remember, it's just 1 stone.

Good for you who have kept it up, understanding for those that haven't (I have struggled through circumstance). Anyway Tuesday is another day.

UCM, have mailed you to ask if you could pass my email addy onto furball, pretty please. Thanks

MrsSpoon · 07/01/2006 23:56

I've got the ultimate diet, think I've got an ear infection now. Am prone to bursting eardrums and my left ear is starting to feel like it is headed that way.

Think I will have an indian takeaway when I recover!

myturn · 07/01/2006 23:59

Oh noooo! Absolutely agony! Have you seen teh doctor?

Don't do what I did though. Felt vile for the past 2 wks (horrendous cystitis) and had no appetite. As soon as the antibiotics kicked in I ate for Scotland!! Paying for it now....
