Morning Dod'ers!

Here's a nice new shiney list for when the old one is full.

Pull up a squishy chair and feel free to help yourselves to the Sw friendly snacks. Posters from the old room will be moved in shortly Wink.

Happy birthday bee!

You can have philly light as a HEA obrigada. I think it's something odd like 71g as a portion.

MadameBoo · 02/11/2011 13:46

Hello all. I have been weighed and lost 1/2 a pound this week. Hmm. Who do I email with the celebratory news? :o

(sorry for lack of keeping up - I will Make More Effort!).

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 14:07

Me, Boo. Its usually me! Well done on the loss.

Where is everyone else? There is only about 4 of us on the list at the moment. Don't make me track you down....! Grin

SlinkyB · 02/11/2011 15:15

I've been shopping. Went into Next. Tentatively picked up a couple of pairs of size 14 jeans and made my way to the changing rooms. Was a little apprehensive about squeezing into them but...they fit...and had a little room, so I (loudly) asked for a size 12! And they fit perfectly Shock ! Am so so Grin you would not believe. Haven't bought a size 12 pair of jeans for about ten years, and never thought I would again. Do you think it would be ok to wear them with the size label hanging out?! Wink.

And, more good news, ds actually slept in his pram! He's not done that since he was newborn (ish), which allowed me to continue shopping instead of dashing home to his cot. So bought some new work boots and a scarf too Smile.

Will pm you now cheese

SlinkyB · 02/11/2011 15:31

I KNOW! I usually play it safe with bootcut or boyfriend style, but thought I'd be daring.

Erm, my jeans talk has seemingly killed the fred?? Sorry! C'mon cheese, bail me out with The List pweeeze?!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 20:02

slinky I am loving the jeans! I have the same ones but from H&M. I also bought this which looks nice with leggings and boots.

SlinkyB · 02/11/2011 20:06

X-post! Well done all, esp chips, bee and hedge Grin.

November bootcamp has started then. Was going to give up booze for the month, but then remembered I've got a girly night out this Fri, and am off to Frankfurt in a couple if weeks too.... hmmm....

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 20:10

I am off the booze too, though it will prob all go wrong when DH has the week off soon. Plus we are going to the USA to see my Dad for thanksgiving...hmmm

SlinkyB · 02/11/2011 20:11

I like the jumper dress, but struggle with chunky knitwear as my shoulders are broad, and it bulks me out even more Sad. I can't take my new jeans off, I might actually sleep in them tonight Grin.

kid · 02/11/2011 20:14

I have been very good today (after deliberately skipping WI)
My jeans that had got really lose are starting to be filled up again so that has given me the incentive to fix my eating.

I got Zumba on the xbox today and tried it out tonight. I only did 2 beginner songs which lasted for 8 minutes altogether and it was hard work. I literally can't do the moves, I am hopeless at it but at least DD had a good laugh. I had a good laugh watching her try to do the moves afterwards, she clearly takes after me!

I've got gym class tomorrow which I should be okay to go to, I just need to sort out childcare. I'm positive DC would be fine on their own as DS has a new xbox game that he could play for 2 weeks solid if I let him and DD has internet access on my new laptop (if I let her use it). I'll make a decision tomorrow I think.

Chipskilartar · 02/11/2011 20:52

Thanks everyone, I'm still Grin I realise that it will completely slow down, but will be happy with 1lb or so a week. I've got loads to lose though, so am here for the long haul, but I'm glad I've finally found a way of eating that fits in with the family, and I'm not constantly worrying about points or calories. Do you need any more info from me for the list cheese?

Well done for everyone for their losses, not just today, but overall. There's some great results - you must all feel fantastic!

Love the jeans slinky and happy birthday bee

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/11/2011 21:05

Ahem slinky - what's with 'Well done all, esp chips, bee and hedge'. What am I, chopped (free on red and EE) liver?! Grin I never lose that much in a week so I want lots of glory please!! I was SOTW in my class.

chips - you can choose how much or how little info to give for the list. I am absolutely NOT announcing my weight on an internet board that can be viewed by all!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 21:08

chips you can give however much info as you want.

CSWS don't worry I loves ya !

Who is the preggers one on here by the way, I keep forgetting!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/11/2011 21:18

Just looked back and it's birdiegirl who is pregnant, but she's not posted for a while.

Food for today:
B bacon, eggs, mushrooms, banana
L cottage pie style concoction made from ground up leftover roast pork, topped with swede and celeriac mash, with leek and pea braise.
D home made burgers (I ate almost a whole pound of mince as they were huge Shock) with potato wedges and lots of salad. Raspberries and melon.

Prob have some weetabix in a mo and then go to bed, as youngest spent 10pm-12midnight screaming, and then started up again at 5:20 .

Oh and I had a bounty celebrations from dd's trick or treat stash, which was naughtier from a dairy angle than a syn angle.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 21:37

Grin CSWS I thought it was you, glad I didn't ask outright!

I have just had a hot choc with my left over milk and water - 3.5syns so not bad! Am shattered too, just looking at the ironing. Cannot be arsed though.

Have been trawling through nanny CV's! Blimey they are expensive, not much point me returning to work.

keepingitRia · 02/11/2011 21:39

well done on losses.

I forgot to buy my quorn in tesco got sidetracked by trying to find reasonably priced prezzies for all of the DS's friends who are all having birthdays in the next 2 weeks.

am looking forward to getting back on plan tomorrow.

DH has gone to the pub (thank goodness as he was V.grumpy when I got in from band rehersal and shopping). Can we secretly cross our fingers that is might be a good "chance meeting".

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/11/2011 21:42

Heck Cheese. I have 3 under 6 already. Another would tip me over the edge, esp as they don't sleep!

keepingitRia · 02/11/2011 21:43

I'll come and be your nanny cheese, I love babies. I have a feeling you live nowhere near me though. DH said I could easily end up being a 24/7 nanny for our friend if she has a baby... at the weekend she offered me her DH (in person or via turkey baster) so I could have it for herShock. Was a bit Blush!

Hedgepig · 02/11/2011 21:47

congrats to everyone esp CSWS Grin blow trumpet and Ria for having the strength to post Grin

My target is 10st 5lb so I am into my last stone.

I feel really pants today and thought i was coming down with the lurgy but then remembered I had a flu jad this afternoon which probably explains the shivery feeling (I am so dim forgetting that)

Cheese good luck with the nanny our hrs were regular enough to use nursery but it is still ££££

right I'm off to bed as i feel really cold, night all

Cheeseandbiscuits · 02/11/2011 21:50

Haha Ria. I am in West London! Of course you could be my nanny. Isobel is fab, you would have a great time.

hedge take some paracetamol! Poor you, night.
CSWS 3 under 6, sounds like a piece of piss to me. WinkWink

keepingitRia · 02/11/2011 22:01

shame cheese, that's a bit of a commute for meWink Hope you find someone lovely.

hedge, hope you feel better tomorrow.

CSWS - if you have 3 that don't sleep, would 4 be that much different? (this is part of my argument which keeps me sane with my 3 nocturnal delightsWink, and somehow the sleep thing doesn't deter that secret feeling that another one or two DC wouldn't be a bad thing. Obviously would prefer an immaculate conception, but failing that my DH rather than anyone else'sWink, unless I get a better offer!).

I am feeling very in control of my gain. I don't want to give up (for once) I want to get straight back on it and deal with it. I am enjoying finishing off the open wine though.

Hedgepig · 02/11/2011 22:03

Thanks Dr Cheese I have had 3/4 of a big bar of dairy milk and a million biscuits and I feel slightly better I'm sure Paracetamol will help to.
