Ha ha ha Cheese!

ds slept from 7pm to 1.50am Shock, had a feed and went to sleep, then woke again at 3 and went to sleep after a feed, but then woke at 4 with all the signs of being awake. I brought him into bed and he noshed a bit more and we dozed until 6.15 - so much better than previously! I am hoping for more of the same tonight.

Meant to say earlier - well done to all the losers and maintainers. I will be back in the losing group next week .
H has taken the car today after saying I could have it, so I am stuck here. I shall wait for ds to go for his nap and then go into the garden again to do more weeding with dd.

Off to start making the lentil pie for later. I've really got the muchies again today. Good job I have plenty of fruit in!

Morning everyone, well done on the losses I am Envy. Welcome to the new ladies, although your names seem veh familiar - were you on the SW thread last year? 4 stone by Christmas Shock, has the consultant suggested which option to do to get that amount off JCHNB?

Bee fingers crossed for you but what is AF and BFN? I know what POAS is. Kid sorry you are feeling rough. If I've missed anyone out its due to my poor attention span Grin

I've walked miles this week and have only lost the curry weight from the weekend, grrr. Off topic but does anyone else have to find a costume for World Book Day for their DC's? I'm thinking Darth Vader as we have the helmet and I can get a cape from sainsb's halloween range.

ameRIAcansmooth · 29/09/2011 10:18

when is world book day? Didn't it used to be in March?

ameRIAcansmooth · 29/09/2011 10:22

I submitted my OU work last night. I didn't manage to get to grips with the compound/formula stuff, so that's 22% of the marks I don't have a chance of. But there's no point me sitting here going over and over it and ending up changing the stuff I could have got right in frustration! One online test left to do by next week, and I'm all done. It's a huge relief.

whatkungfuthat · 29/09/2011 10:26

It may well be in March Ria but our lot have to dress up next week. Well done on getting the work done, I'm still looking at my textbooks

grinningbee · 29/09/2011 11:09

Well done Ria are you going to treat yourself to something when it's all done?

Whatkungfuthat Bfn = big fat negative (as in pregnancy test) and AF = Auntie Flo, or period Grin

I am feeling very pmt'ish. Maybe that's why I'm hungry. I threw caution to the wind and added a handful of red lentils to the lentil pie. Tis bubbling away now smelling very nice. Would have been good if I hadn't dropped said bag of lentils. They don't half scatter a long way! Grin

OP posts:
kid · 29/09/2011 12:43

bee, I can imagine lentils scatter far and are probably a pain to clean up.
I once dropped a jar of branston pickle. It shattered into a million pieces!

Couldn't find anything in my garden so no idea what they were doing. They didn't come back and my car was ok (parked next to garden) so who knows what they were up to.

Tucking in to some delicious tuna and couscous, yum yum Smile

grinningbee · 29/09/2011 15:13

Kid ooooh, messy. Bet your hands stank of pickle afterwards! Yes, I dare say I shall find a couple of the stray blighters when I least expect to.

Pie all made, mash top on, ready for going in the oven when we get back from the pub tonight. If ds sleeps again like he did last night I shall be a happy bunny. I think I may know what did it, but after a couple more nights I will know for sure.

Hey guys. I'm feeling really rough today. Sad my throat is killing me. And did you know 2 syns in a lemsip And 4 in a pack of halls Angry no fair. As a result I've hardly eaten a thing today.
B - 2 alpen light
L- a banana and some ham
D - I'd meant to be haddock new pots and broccoli. But right now I want to curl up and sleep. Dh is home In a couple of hours. So I've given the kids a snack to keep them going so we can eat late and dh can cook. I've snacked on a vanilla fat free yoghurt. I'm thinking of freezing them to soothe my throat.

Nightmare about dropping the lentils. If your anything like me you'll be finding rouge lentils for months. Grin I hope you all get a better night tonight. I'm so glad mine all sleep through now. I don't function on no sleep very well.

kid · 29/09/2011 16:22

I've got a late gym class tonight, it doesn't start till gone 7 so I need to eat an or so before I go. Poor DH is having trouble sleeping at the moment. He was up at 3:30 this morning and the morning before, he was up at 4:15. It won't be worth going to bed at this rate!
I feel really sorry for him and I don't know how he is managing on such a small amount of sleep as he often has to do a 12 hour shift at work.
Hopefully he'll sleep well tonight. Maybe I'll make him some ovaltine Grin

I am really pleased with myself for fitting comfortably into some trousers that couldn't even do up last month. They are a great fit now, I don't even have to wear a long/baggy top to hide the muffin top!

ameRIAcansmooth · 29/09/2011 20:02

well done kid

maybe they were having a wee? (yuk)

hope you feel better soon sofa.

have grubby small boys to bath - back in a bit x

kid · 29/09/2011 20:59

Omg, I nearly died at the gym tonight, it was a 50 minute full on intense class. I'm going to be in so much pain tomorrow, I just know I am.

I'm off to the O2 tomorrow to see Lee evans, I can't wait! Might need an early night tonight so I'm wide awake tomorrow night Smile

ameRIAcansmooth · 29/09/2011 22:27

ooooh, enjoy kid, sounds good.

and well done on the gym.

Sofabitch · 30/09/2011 03:30

Well done for going to the gym. Smile. I have to be up for work in 3 hours. So why can't I sleep?? Dh is grinding his teeth next to me. I'm contemplating suffocating him with a pillow? That's rational right Grin Plus it feels like glass when I swallow. I had my appraisal at work today and my manager begged me to go full time even though they are making cuts. Which made me feel good. I still told him he didn't have a hope in hell lol. 33 hours a week near on kills me. And I sleep for 8 of those. But it was nice to be asked in a you're really good at the job kinda way.

*disclaimer. I'm only half serious about suffocating him Wink

I had major munchies this evening and I ate 3 crackerbreads with pilchards that I won in slimmer of the week basket. Remind me never to do that again. [boak]

grinningbee · 30/09/2011 09:38

Sofa at 3.30 in the morning you are perfectly entitled to suffocate your dh Wink Yay at the job offer, and a what-were-you-thinking at the pilchards???!

kid well done on the gym - sounds very hard work!

a not too bad night again. He woke a couple of times but did go back down after a feed, then came into bed just after 6 and stayed still until 7 Shock. If this keeps up I shall definitely know what the problem was.

We're off out to a farm shortly, so should be a nice day I hope. Unless of course the dc tantrum Grin

Food for the day:

Weetabix and a banana
Out - hopefully a jp and beans
Leftover Shepherd's Lentil Pie

Hope you all get to enjoy the sunshine today Smile

Last min hol booked to south coast! Lovely, see you all on MOnday

Sofabitch · 30/09/2011 15:02

Oh are you coming anywhere near me cheese Smile been a good day.
B- raspberries and yoghurt and a banana
L - jacket potato beans and a side salad
D- mushroom omelette and beans.

kid · 30/09/2011 16:06

DS got sent home from school today. They phoned me just before lunchtime to say he had been sick, had a headache and a temperature. I asked if he had to come home as it would take me an hour to get there! They responded that they really did think he needed to go home Blush Grin
Luckily for me, my dad was on lunch and only lives around the corner so he popped out to pick him up for me.
DS is definitely ill as he has just been laying on the settee for the entire afternoon and didn't even want to play Xbox which is a sure sign something is wrong! He said one of his friends was sick too but he didn't get sent home as he didn't have a temperature.

Hopefully its nothing major and he'll soon bounce back. I bet his school are worrying as he is on the school football team and they have their first match on Monday!

Cheese, lucky you, a last minute holiday. Hope you enjoy yourself

Sofabitch · 30/09/2011 16:24

Oh no kid. I hope he is better soon.

ameRIAcansmooth · 30/09/2011 22:34

hope he is better soon kid.

have a great weekend cheese.

DH has jst put strictly on, so I am indisposed!

grinningbee · 01/10/2011 02:59

Kid hope ds is better soon.

Cheese have a lovely time!

Well. The farm was very nice (and hot!) both dc did indeed play up, but it all turned out ok in the end until bedtime. Dd took over an hour to get to bed, and as you can tell, ds is back to his usual tricks. Still, I had two fairly decent nights. Bang goes my theory though.

I can hear dh snoring Angry.

kid · 01/10/2011 08:37

I had an amazing time at the O2 watching Lee evans. That man is so funny and our seats were very close to the stage.
As I didn't have to drive, I was able to drink which made a nice change.

Poor ds isn't feeling any better. He stayed at my parents last night and hasn't hardly moved since. I'll go and get him soon and hopefully he'll be feeling better this morning.

Totally blew sw last night but the cheese burger, chips and wine was lovely and we all need a treat now and again. Back to it today though and gym tomorrow so hopefully not too much damage done.

kid · 01/10/2011 08:38

Sorry to hear you had a tough night bee. I'm interested to hear what your theory was though.

grinningbee · 01/10/2011 17:14

kid glad you enjoyed Lee Evans. We watched him on tv a few nights ago and I was in stitches. Bet he is much funnier in person Smile. And yes, you do need a treat every so often! Hope ds picks up soon.

The theory - I made it as dark as possible (we usually have a bedside light on) and I made a no tv rule as that is normally on in the background all night too. It may be that he just had an off night last night, so I shall stick with it and see what happens.

Been into Nottingham today. Gosh it was hot and stuffy!

Food for the day:

Weetabix and a banana
No lunch Sad
Sweet chilli chicken and roasted veg. Possibly after eating my own leg as I'm so flaming hungry!!

ameRIAcansmooth · 01/10/2011 20:17

hi guys.

I have decided that DH and I look like Mr and Mrs Weeble, and DH is now doing SW with me. Green day today. Have spent the afternoon/evening at the beach hut with Dsis again, I took a box of couscous and some pineapple to eat while the boys had picnic food. Meant to be having stir fry with DH but he has disappearedHmm. All will be revealed I expect.

I AM STARVING!!!!!
