Hi all, just wondering whether anyone else was doing Exante Total Solution at the moment so that we could maybe keep each other company?

My story is that I've been on the programme since 1st August - so far lost 16lbs which makes me feel great Grin, am about a quarter of the way along Blush as I have 4 stone to lose to get to where I feel comfortable with myself, at about 1/2 a stone lighter than when i met my DH!!!

I was 16 stone 1lb on 1st August, which at 5' 9" with a sadly sturdy frame made me a rather well padded size 18 - now I am at 14 stone 13lb and my size 18 jeans are much more comfortable, size 16 skirt and tops fit me again and i feel just that bit better. I have rewarded myself today with a little splurge on new makeup and I think i'll try to maintain that approach, reward myself with something lovely when i cross each stone off. Spotted some lovely scent today so that might do for 14 to 13. 13 to 12 will be excellent (new wardrobe time i think!) and if i can get down to 11 something I will be turning cartwheels if I don't faint on the spot.

I've found it actually really easy to stick to so far, I quite like the soups and shakes and the bars aren't bad - i've had a couple of lunches out (healthy choices!) and one lovely dinner and even then I seem to have managed to lose over the wee. Hopefully it'll continue to work that way, I like the idea that I can have a couple of bonus nights off over the month, it makes it feel a bit less restrictive. I've definitely found that my appetite is smaller though and I felt full after much less food than I've been used to, and as I'm a comfort and boredom eater having a proper break from food is really good for me mentally too.

I'm planning a food week break next week and then straight back on the Total solution after that. DH might do it with me next month, think he'd like to lose a stone too - which will make it even easier to stick to if he's not cooking tasty meals while I tuck into a soup.....

Anyway, it'd be great to hear from anyone else doing Exante at the moment or any of you ladies who has done it in the past and got a success story to tell

2lbs off this week.

Ilovefluffysheep · 09/03/2012 08:23

Should have said, coke zero is whats kept me on the straight and narrow I think! Normally I only drink pepsi max, but cant have that due to the citric acid. I have 1-2 cans of coke zero a day, and it feels like such a treat!

Quiet on here this week......

Anyway, weigh in yesterday, and 3lbs off for me. That makes me half a pound off of 2.5 stone which I have done in 2.5 months, so really pleased.

Funny week this week, as having an operation on Wednesday. Not allowed to eat after 6am, so will be waking early to have some scrambled eggs. Am then going to take some bars in to hospital with me to try and keep me on the straight and narrow, as I have to stay in for one night, so figured I could have a bar for tea, then one for breakfast. Failing that will have to hope for something egg or cheese related as no/low carbs, so will at least stay in ketosis.

Ilovefluffysheep · 23/03/2012 13:45

Has everyone else on here given up??

I lost 3lbs this week, so total weight loss in 12 weeks is 2 stone 9.5lbs.

lizardqueenie · 01/04/2012 17:38

Your weightloss has been brilliant! How are you feeling?

Hello all!

Im on day 4 of WS on Exante.... Ive surprised myself in that I've found it quite easy. Wanted to share a tip for making up the shakes, which is how I drink them..... I put a small handful of ice in my blender, tip the powder in, then a tiny bit of sweetener, then the water and whizz away! It makes the shake so thick and creamy. I really could drink these shakes without doing this, and I find now that I actually enjoy them :-)

liss06 · 09/05/2012 20:07

Hi all

I'm on exante day 3 and I'm sooo hungry xxx

LittleEsmeWeatherwax · 17/05/2012 20:53

Hi liss. Are you sure it's really hunger and not habit of eating?
Also, take heart, day 3 means that ketosis hasn't quite kicked in, so keep going!

liss06 · 01/06/2012 20:00

One month down ... I've lost 16lbs and am soooo pleased. Loving the shakes and soups bars are ok. Craving chocolate heaps

goingbacktowork · 15/07/2012 14:16

hi - that list of the drinks above - are there limits on the quantity one should be having of them? Thanks.

MsP2012timetochange · 21/08/2012 20:33

Hi

I am massively new to blogging on here and to meal replacement diets so wanted to meet more like me and this page has been fab!

I wanted to go with Exante TS but was worried how I would manage eating out....has anyone tried following TS as best they can but occasionally having a meal (low carb and healthy of course) out now and again without it affecting it?

I'm also massively excited I can still have some coke zero! Where can I read more about this?

:)

QueenieLovesEels · 23/08/2012 15:36

Hi,
I have just ordered a month long milkshake lot of Exante.
I have no patience with diets that are slow and have issues around food. I think it will be helpful to me having a break from thinking about food and an end to cravings.

I carry my weight around my stomach and am very apple shaped so think this low carb programme is the way to go. After a month I will reassess if this is working for me.

Anyone else currently doing this? What things can I expect on my first week?

I need a bit of hand holding to be honest.

My goal is to shed around three stones and get down to a size 12.
I really want to be able to wear short dresses and boots again by Christmas.
Is this realistic?

timeforanewname · 17/09/2012 20:52

I have just started and I am starving but I will not give in.... I can do it Smile I have 6 stone to lose and I think it will tie about 20 weeks max, I hope so anyway.

KatGleed · 11/08/2015 21:48

FloridaGirl99 · 05/01/2016 09:15

Hi, my first time on mumsnet forum and hoping to find others doing Exante diet. Just started Jan 3rd and not sure how to find out how all in Aug/Sept have done/continuing to do. A real novice to the message jargon so please bear with me!
Thanks!
