I am not sure how I am tbh now. Difficult week ahead, think I have scared Solo off with my TMI PM, got doctors tomorrow and don't want to go and I still haven't done my nails. And I want a chocolate biscuit.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 11/09/2011 21:39

Niecie the party sounds horrendous - hope DS2 had a good time? Will you get a bit of peace tomorrow when the boys are at school?

Fab can you ignore the scales and just go with clothes, or if your tummy is flatter or something? If you feel that weighing is going to affect you mentally then I would leave it.

TheOriginalFAB · 11/09/2011 21:42

I will see how I feel on Thursday morning. Knowing me I will probably forget.

Solo · 12/09/2011 00:24

:) You've not scared me off FAB I have PM'd you again.

Hello to everyone else. I weighed this morning and have done no damage at all although I haven't progressed either. Yet!
See you all later then.

Good morning everyone.

I am supposed to be weighing this morning, but I sort of dont want to! I am so scared that I have put some on. Blush
Still not tried on my dress for the wedding on Saturday. I realise now that I am sort of scared that it wont look as good as I want it to. Give me a kick up the bum!!!!

Good luck with Dr today FAB

Ali I think I may go with your advice about going with the clothes, not the scales. They feel good!!

Well done on graduation Neicie, party sounds like a nighmare!!

Howto - hope the drunken weekend was good.

Giganticus I had a buffet lunch yesterday and was really pleased with it. I find I just take what I really want, so enjoy it all. I even left a little when I was full.

Waves to Solo

Hi Olive, hope you are doing ok.

Have I forgotten anyone? Sorry if I have Smile

I am up at stupid o'clock as I cant sleep. I am watching "Fat Families" on TV. It is so depressing, all about what they should not eat, how many calories, being deprived and being "naughty". I have lost more with Pauling than some of them, who have done this major diet and been exercising LOADS!! The way I have done it is so much easier!

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 12/09/2011 09:03

Hi everyone Smile

PA - try the dress on! If you do it now, then if it doesn't fit you have time to shop. If you leave it, and then can't wear it or feel horrid in it then you are giving yourself a reason to be able to say 'I knew I couldn't do it' and self sabotage.
Try it on now, and I bet you look fab! Grin

GiganticusBottomus · 12/09/2011 09:13

Cursed bloody scales. I am wearing jeans I could't fit into but scales say uh uuuuuh (family fortunes style) so of course I am bummed out. Grrrr...Angry

HorseHairKnickers · 12/09/2011 15:03

STOP!!!!!!!!! and step away from the scales!!!!

Good advice from Ali re the dress PA.

How do you like my name then? it's only temporary, but fancied a change of knickers Grin.

PositiveAttitude · 12/09/2011 16:05

Ok, I took on board what you said. I know, I know, I know!! I tried my dress on and it fits ok. With my "suck-it-all-in-and-dont-think-about-the-loo-all-day" pants it might even look quite nice! Hmm

WHy I am so screwed up still about everything? One of you said that you bought something a larger size recently, I cant remember who it was. I did the same!! I tried on a lovely top, it fitted nicely, but on the way to the checkout I changed it for the next size up!! Is it because I cant quite believe I have lost the weight. There is no way I want to put the weight back on again, but is my sub-conscious saying differently, in which case how do I change that?

I have been spending quite a bit of money recently on myself buying some lovely new winter clothes and the loveliest thing is that I am buying them from "normal" shops, not evans etc, and just getting what actually covered everything!!. Loving my new look - and yesterday I was out with a lot of people who know me well and see me a lot and I was told at least 4 times how lovely I looked and complimented on my weight loss! Grin

Niecie · 12/09/2011 16:17

Took me a while to work out who you were there HorseHairKnickers.

Niecie · 12/09/2011 16:21

It was me PA. I bought a dress that was a bit larger than I needed because I liked it slightly too big - it might that it is a novelty! Blush

Really, I'm not sure what it going on in my head either.

Congratulations on your compliments. Losing all those dress sizes you really deserve it. Smile

HorseHairKnickers · 12/09/2011 16:30

I did it too!!! I bought a loose top in a 16 instead of a 14 Hmm. Must be psychological.

It's me Solo!!! Grin I wont keep this new name, because I like Solo, but fancied a change! I was going to be HorseHairShirt, but decided knickers would be funnier!

PositiveAttitude · 12/09/2011 16:32

Oh, Hi Solo Grin

I am not the only one that struggles with these weird things then!! Grin

HorseHairKnickers · 12/09/2011 16:39

Nope!

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 12/09/2011 16:52

Grin fab you crazy woman. Did you go to the drs?

I am in the zone today. I got so many compliments on Saturday, and felt a normal size rather than a heifer for the first time in ages, it has really given me a boost.

I am the opposite with clothes, o optimistically buy too small! Grin
Bought myself another dress the other day, a knitted one to wear with leggings - it is a 16!
Weirdly this is not reflected on the scales, is it possible to turn fat to muscle by the power of thought??? Wink

Niecie · 12/09/2011 16:55

No. If it was I would look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Grin

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 12/09/2011 16:56

I was looking at another 'slimming' thread just now, there was talk of how many low fat cheese triangles they were allowed, and eating chicken with nothing else. Bleugh, and how depressing! Sad

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 12/09/2011 16:56

Niecie GrinGrin That made me snort aloud. My sons are looking at me like this Hmm

Niecie · 12/09/2011 16:58

And congratulations on being a size 16 Alibaba. How great is that!!?

A little bit Envy to tell the truth but I shall use it as a motivational tool.

Niecie · 12/09/2011 16:58
Grin
Alibabaandthe80nappies · 12/09/2011 16:59

I don't think I am a 16, it is a fluke dress. There is certainly no way on this earth that a 16 pair of trousers would encompass me, no way.

HorseHairKnickers · 12/09/2011 17:12

Grin@ Arnie...sounds a bit like Niecie Hmm namechange coming on Niecie? Wink

TheOriginalFAB · 12/09/2011 17:14

Ali I did go to the docotrs and I was supposed to be doing both inhalers and didn't realise. The doctor was very nice about it though. I have to go back on Wednesday for blood tests though.

I have a question. I am not doing the obsessed with food and thnking about it all the time and fighting with myself about eating thing any more but what if I have lost nothing? Am I eating too much/too little/need to exercise more than walking the kids to schol and back? It is 3/4s of a mile each way.
