Niecie - the tests were done by the pharmacist. I went to the GP last year to ask about thyroid issues as their is a family member with one but he said it was fine, as did the hospital doctor. This was even with 2 lots of blood taken and tested in 10 days and with varying results.

Solo every night before I go to bed, and in the morning when I rub in firming lotion, I look at my tummy. Sometimes during the day I think I look thinner and feel it but the scales are telling me different.

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 11:32

I know what you mean FAB. My scales have gone right up and yet, I still don't feel bigger than 3 weeks ago or AFAICS look bigger...very odd!

OP posts:
SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 11:36

I'm just going to look for a 'before' picture too...

OP posts:
Niecie · 21/06/2011 11:37

I can see it now!!! Grin

Wow Solo, you look great. That dress is very flattering - it certainly shows off your waist. TBH I am a bit Envy - I want to look that slim.

PositiveAttitude · 21/06/2011 11:45

Lovely Pic Solo You certainly suit your name!

Niecie, I too have way too much to lose to actually notice the smaller amounts each week/fortnight. I do find I am not obsessive about the scales, like I have been in the past now though. I just see it as an encouragement that I am heading in the right direction.

Although the weight loss is slower than it has been sometimes in the past for me, I dont feel as if I am dieting at all, which I know I am not, so I dont feel deprived and I have stuck with this for longer than I normally can and really dont have any inkling to throw in the towel. Yes, I have had my blips, but it is so easy to pick up again and not feel guilty.
I cant believe how many times I actually want fruit now, rather than just eating it because I could feel as if I was being "good".

Hope you feel better soon FAB. How long has it been going on for now? It seems to have been a bit longer than just your body "plateau-ing", IYSWIM. Confused

Just going to try and dodge the showers and get some shopping. Have a good day. Grin

TheOriginalFAB · 21/06/2011 11:49

Have been feeling tired all the time for years. Been off food for 10 days.

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 11:52

That's not good FAB. I think you need to see the GP again.

It's Ok PA, I've added you all as mates! so you can see. I've put a pic on that was taken 364 days before that one, so you can see the difference and actually! I did get fatter than that, but can't find a photo.

Niecie · 21/06/2011 11:52

Oh just seen the 'before' picture now Solo. You should be so proud of yourself. What a difference a year makes!Smile

I have had blood tests done and they all come back normal. I am on short term tablets to try and give me better quality sleep as I dream so vividly I don't feel like I have slept. When I started taking them - 1/2 twice a week - I didn't seem to dream those nights but now I do. Last week I actually went to sleep for 3 afternoons which is not like me at all.

BsshBossh · 21/06/2011 12:22

Solo, you really are HOT Grin. Stunning!

BsshBossh · 21/06/2011 12:23

(Mind you, I have to say that you looked stunning in the 2010 too!)

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 12:31

Aw! thanks Bssh! Blimey! I must've been really really gorgeous 10 years ago then as a size 10! will never be there again, but a 12/14 would be good. No, actually it'd be great!!!

OP posts:
Ephiny · 21/06/2011 13:04

Solo - surely you can't be more than a 12/14 in that second picture?? You look slim to me, anyway, and you have a very nice figure if you don't mind me saying :)

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 13:31

Thanks Ephiny, believe it or not, that dress is a 16. I'm stuck between a 14 and a 16...

Fab do you get any kind of joint pain? A friend of mine has just been told she suffers from lupus which can cause fatigue as can quite a few auto-immune diseases. She had a lot of blood tests before they picked it up.

I am not eating as much as I was before I started Pauling and am steadily losing weight but I dont feel like I am pauling! I am not sure if I am truely hungry enough and think that I am not stopping when full.

I am away this weekend so when I get back I will have to give myself a firm kick up the backside :(

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 14:04

Will be joining you MM.

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 14:06

MM - I have fibromyalgia. I can see myself slipping back in to eating chocolate to try and wake up. Not that it works Hmm.

blimey · 21/06/2011 14:29

Sorry you are having a hard time fab

Great pic solo !

SoloIsAHotCougar · 21/06/2011 14:42
