Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

bebeballroom · 19/09/2011 10:35

sts :( Although is a small miracle given what I had to eat yesterday. We went out for BILs birthday!! Was not diet friendly!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/09/2011 18:44

well done for sts bebe

RatherBeOnThePiste · 19/09/2011 19:23

GettinTrimmer · 20/09/2011 16:45

Well done on sts Bebe. It will be a small miracle if I manage to not eat any of the macaroni cheese I am cooking for dd!

Ds is going away with the school tomorrow for 2 nights, he is looking forward to it but trust me to leave it to the last minute - we need an unbreakable cup and the only one we have in the house is a minature disney princess one, so I'm off the sainsburys later for a last minute dash....

smalline how is it going with your house sale/purchase? Hope all ok.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 20/09/2011 19:00

well I have POAS and am officially in ketosis and no my breath doesn't stink.
Not sure what happens next! Although I am led to believe the weight will simply melt away.

Time will tell..

OP posts:
TheGhostNotMe · 20/09/2011 19:30

Did day six of the shred today. Missed yesterday and saturday but done every day other than that since Tuesday. Looking forward to level two.

Diet going well. Toning up not sure losing weight though so am upping my water consumption.

bebeballroom · 21/09/2011 12:46

Ghost - Well done on the shredding!

Piste - Congrats on the Ketosis....is this a sort of low carbing BFP?! Wink

Someone give me a slap! My diet head has gone again! Think I've got myself into holiday mode a few days too soon!! Plus I'm getting DDs cold bug thingy & feel rubbish and just want to eat comfort food & curl up in bed! :(

Supposed to be Zumba-ing tomorrow morning, will have to see how I feel coz dancing around like a looney with a head full of gunge & achey limbs doesn't appeal to me much! With DD (hopefully) at pre-school I'd much rather have a nap & get better for my holiday on Friday!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/09/2011 13:52

POAS Bebe - haven't done that for a while!

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 22/09/2011 09:15

Well done for shredding Ghost. I have not done it since last wednesday as there's been a plasterer in the house doing our ceilings! I have to spend today finding where we've put everything as it's been an upheaval. That's my excuse anyway.

Admiring your resolve on the low carbing Piste. If you were to eat rice or pasta now would that mean you're at square 1 again?

Bebe how are you feeling today?

I am hoping to sts this week with no exercise, and been ok on diet but not a great weekend.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/09/2011 13:47

Yes GT - but it's not just those more obvious carbs, it's fruit, root veg, milk, yogurt, it goes on and on, but Custardo has a fab blog with meal ideas which have been very successful. We all had chicken curry last night that suited all of us - the DC had rice with it, and it was all good. It took me two intense days to get into the swing of it, but now it is fine. You can have 20g of carbs a day, so I choose to have milk in tea iyswim.. I don't think I will see much of a weight loss tomorrow but am hopeful for next week.

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/09/2011 07:22

One off here which I expected so am 10 10. I will update the list later when I'm on the pooter. It will be interesting to see how much I can lose by next Friday if I keep going on this low carb lark.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 23/09/2011 11:10

0.5 on here. My own fault, no exercise, should have been more organised and at one point with all the work being done on the house and each room having to be cleared room by room couldn't even find my sw books.

I am determined to lose for next week, it is all systems go and hope to lose 1.5 stone (that I lost and gained since this thread started Sad) by christmas.

GettinTrimmer · 23/09/2011 11:11

Well done Piste Smile Will look in on your running thread, planning to go tomorrow.

i sts - happy with that considering the amount of booze i drank last week and cheesey garlic bread/pizza/pasta/crisps/choclate/pudding

shall i go on ................ Grin

GettinTrimmer · 24/09/2011 08:58

That is a well impressive sts Blondes Grin

Piste I remember from lurking on different threads that Custardo lost loads of weight low carbing. I read somewhere that it suits some people very well because of blood group, whether that pseudo science or not.....

How did you get on Bebe? Pretty? Anybody else?

I am shredding later on today but I can't remember what day I am supposed to be.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/09/2011 09:02

I've got Custardo on my thread - she is fiercely strict but really really helpful, she's got a very good blog too, with meals and recipes and stuff. I weigh every day and I've lost weight since yesterday, only a pound, but I won't declare anything further on here until next Friday.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 24/09/2011 16:46

tut tut piste you shouldnt weigh every day

'slaps wrist'

GettinTrimmer · 24/09/2011 17:22

Is there some reason Piste on low carbing why you wi every day?

I have shredded, actually didn't find it too difficult after not having done it for over a week.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/09/2011 20:14

They recommend to test your ketones and WI every morning, I just do what I'm told. Some of them really know their stuff. I feel very amateur Grin But we only record weight loss once a week though.

OP posts:
Smalline · 25/09/2011 10:13

Hello ladies, apologies for going awol for a little while.

Weighed myself last week and was a little upset as I had put on a poundSad. I know what I am doing wrong, eating the wrong foods, not drinking enough water or eating enough fruit and veg. I just need to reorganize myself, eat breakfast in the morning (which I haven't done since starting the new job) my first meal of the day is usually lunch, which I have about 2pm, I'm a bit out of sorts at the moment, but have decided as of tomorrow that has to change.

The house purchase is something I am finding very frustrating at the moment, we are still waiting to have the valuation done on the house we are buying, for the past three weeks, our mortgage broker has informed us every day, that our mortgage application is on the underwriters desk, and that the underwriters will definitely instruct the mortgage lenders to carry out the valuation tomorrow!!! I am at the point now that I am waking up in the middle of the night and cannot get back to sleep, cos all I can think about is that we are going to lose our lovely houseSad.

GettinTrimmer · 26/09/2011 14:20

Hi all, I've just done I don't know what day of the shred, after tomorrow I think I'll try level 2

I am focused on the sw diet, so far today had 2 small slices of toast, scrambled egg, pasta, prawn & spinach salad with low fat creme freche.

Hope all OK. Smalline sorry to hear of the stress with house buying, all of a sudden it'll all go through, that's what we found. It's grim while you are waiting around though.
