Well done smalline, I could still beat you though!! Grin Glad to hear that work is going well. ikwym about there being lots to learn, it's never the same every day.

piste that low-carbing sounds scientific, but I am the opposite, I like the slimmers' world diet because it has plenty of carbs! If I remember rightly you felt more energised after low carbing for a while. You sound hectically busy anyway. I am impressed with your knitting. I just bought myself a jumper today and I thought if I practised knitting more I could have the length I want and exactly what I want, probably better quality.

I will need to do more running next week - I am not too sure about the shred from Thursday as we have a plasterer coming in to sort out our ceilings. Not keen on him seeing my jumping up and down, grunting and generally looking a plank! I suppose if he starts upstairs I can carry on for a while.

Am super duper excited about Strictly!! Can you tell? :o

Not hopeful for a loss 2moro. Only managed Shred twice this week. Am aiming for 2-3 times this week & Zumba on Thursday! Just had a roast. BUT only had a small piece of ham & 2 roast potatoes then loads of veg. Also had some peach cobbler, but had mostly peach & not much cobble!! Feel stuffed though! :(

Day 3 level 1 done this morning with higher weights, 1 more day at this level then I am moving to level 2.

Had a lovely day with the family, an afternoon in the park, then a scrumptious roast dinner, followed with lemon sponge topped with lemon sauce and creme fraiche, in what we are hoping will become our new local when we moveGrin.

Trimmer - Think Harry from McFly will do well too, he has the advantage of having done the children in need one already. Jason should be good, hasn't he been doing musical theatre? So he must be able to remember routines & will be used to a rehersal schedule.

I don't know if anyone will remember me but I was on this thread a lobg time ago! I left Mumsnet for a good long time and don't post anymore but my son is 4.5 months now and I'd like to loose a good amount of weight!

My name was totoros occarina.

I was planning on starting today but its blowing a gale and I can't really get to the shops to get healthy stuffin so will go tomorrow.

Last time I lost weight I joined weight watchers but my local meetings have moved from midday to 7pm and I can't get there at that time and other day meetings are too far, so thinking of doinbg the online version.

Will weigh in tomorrow.

Well I'm sitting here in casualty. Have been for ages. DD has cut her ankle badly. She is fine, lurching from being fraught to being fascinated that you can see her tendon. It needs stitches they say. It's disgusting but not bleeding as much as I would have thought. She caught it on the bottom of a metal gate as she closed it and didn't realise what damage she'd done. I think she just thought she'd banged it v hard. She will be in despair when she realises the impact this will have on the rowing training that is the centre of her world. We are sitting here in minors and she looks like a giant surrounded by toddlers!!

Still waiting....

I've been a bit crap on the shredding front, it's just hard to fit it in when DD isn't here. She's being a bit clingy (probably coz she's tired) when she's at home, so can't even get her to play upstairs so that I can do it! Zumba was good fun yesterday, and I did enjoy it, despite being utterly crap & uncoordinated! However, my hip/pelvis has been slightly sore for a couple of weeks, and today it definitely doesn't feel good...sort of like when I had the bursitis. Desperately don't want that again as I won't even be able to walk DD to school & back! :( Bugger! Am ice packing it & taking ibuprofen, really hoping it won't require steroid injection again.

Well, I lost 5lb this week, but this was on the scales at Slimming World, I was much heavier than my scales at home, according to sw scales I am over 13 stone Sad I don't feel like wi again on my scales at home so will update on Fridays according to sw scales.

I am focused and determined to lose as much weight as I can before christmas.

I have run and shredded today and am feeling proper smug.
Am low carb properly and on a really good thread where people know what they are doing. I feel better with them rather than on my own as before because instead of always thinking what I had to leave out, they are coming up with proper meals we can all have, but then the rest have the carbs with it. It is a bit difficult because DD has to have a lot of carbs doing what she does,

Only supposed to have 20 - 30g carbs a day. I think it is like WW, you just get into the habit of it and then it just becomes routine. I've also got ketostix that you wee on then it tells you how far you are into ketosis. I am so professional now Confused
