Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

It's a shame I can show you my before and after photos! :-)
I went back to my foster sons primary school today (he left last year, and I wanted to see a friend) the mums in the playground were amazed, that was a great feeling.
I hope you all do really well on your diets, which ever one works for you!

I hope the next time we move house it's because I've won Lotto and can go on holiday for a few weeks whilst someone else moves us!
We have lots of animals, and now with our foster son!! Oh the stress!
It lotto or we stay where we are - I hope! :-)

GettinTrimmer · 06/06/2011 20:29

Gawd piste, it's nice of you to be so interested! Great advice about going out with dh to thrash it out, mum is babysitting tomorrow evening and we are doing just that.

We did have a chat on Sunday and he felt better for getting it out in the open.

And you have a birthday soon don't you?

As far as introducing carbs again are concerned, I think when Pretty's on she will be able to advise you.

Blondes, we are moving because there are things don't like about this house we are in and it's now or never. The area we are in atm is very sought after.

SureSlim well done on your weight loss. I believe in hard exercise and eating less.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/06/2011 20:33

I can feel your pain Trim! Hopefully tomorrow you will come to a decision then upon which you are both agreed - are you having curry though??? Envy Grin I think you should!

Bless you, it is my birthday on Thursday!! Yay me, you can all have some of my virtual cake and fizzy pop Grin

bebejones · 07/06/2011 13:59

:o Naughty foxes!!

Took DD to Slimbridge yesterday & saw 2 of the poison frogs (in the tanks) having a good hump!!! :o Although 2 different types of poison of frog Confused But thankfully no accompanying nosies...and not at ridiculous o'clock!

SO sleepy at the moment, despite good nights sleep, not really sure why!

Anyhow, been quite good so far, & have been to Tesco to stock up on foods!

B - Yoghurt & OJ
Snack - raisin scotch pancake & 1/2 apple & some raisins
L - 1/3 packet of wotsits, 2 ryvita with lf philly & tomato chutney (shop bought & no where near as yummy as my hm stuff!)
D - Prob mushroom soup & crackers :)

GettinTrimmer · 07/06/2011 17:31

Well done SureSlim, you look great.

We are going out this evening, I keep getting E-mails from ASK saying 2 for 1, so we will probably go there.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 07/06/2011 17:41

Ask is nice.... Especially with a voucher Smile
I really hope you get to the bottom of his fraughtness and come to an agreement. Good luck x

Piste - there are people round here who feed the urban foxes! Shock

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/06/2011 18:17

no one said they didnt belive you - nice pics, well done :)

trimmer i love ask/si/zizi/prezzo - infact any italian :)

enjoy

had a ham salad for lunch and probably a tuna jacket tonight

RatherBeOnThePiste · 07/06/2011 19:06

Lovely pics, well done...

Trim, I've sent the sodding seagulls back to you, and told them this is London! Yes it was the foxes shagging!
Pretty - feeding urban foxes? Are they mad?! A fair few years ago, on a summer evening a fox came into our kitchen Confused dragged my bag out and chewed the bloody handles off. Dh saw it from upstairs. Bleeeuuuuggghh

If I had to chose one, I don't think I'd chose Italian nosh over others - love Thai and Indian, really spicy and hot hot hot is my ideal, having said that I do like zizzis! How could anyone not??!!

Had such a mad day today, so much going on. Report writing deadline is Friday, still got loads for proof reading/comment and I'm trying to organise the next intake (that I wont see) whilst someone is sorting out my new intake. Tis mad. Roll on the summer!!!

OP posts:
prettybird · 07/06/2011 19:53

I agree they are mad. Apparently some people felt sorry for them with them 'cos with the advent of wheely bins, they didn't have as much easy picking for them to forage for. However, instead of the popluation declining, it has meant that it has increased.

When we moved in, there was a den in our back garden, in an old neglected compost heap. Now we seem them regularly traversing the front and back gardens - there is even a visible "fox" path in the front garden when dh hasn't mowed the lawn for a bit.

SureSlimCanterbury · 07/06/2011 20:56

Trimmer -Hope you have a wonderful time. We are going out for an Indian at the weekend - so looking forward it!

We seem to be feeding the foxes, although not on purpose!! We have lost 8 chickens in the past few weeks - in the afternoons!! They are definitely getting bolder.

smokinaces · 07/06/2011 21:53

Sorry SureSlim, but you can see why i havent trusted your postings - your first posts here were copied and pasted from the "advert" on page 136 of that document you linked to - in which you also say "Im opening my own clinic in Canterbury". I dont distrust that you did the weight loss - I just distrusted your joining in the thread as anything other than to try and drum up business. I'm still on the fence with that, but sure we'll get to know the real you soon!

prettybird · 07/06/2011 22:05

Our neighbours have chickens which seem to be surviving the foxes. Maybe it's the 3 dogs that puts them off - and they are good at putting the chickens into their eglu at night.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/06/2011 22:59
