littlefish -I'm not that much different I'm 34ff.
NoWay- you can have mine with pleasureGrin. I have gone up at least a cup size everytime I got pregnant and never shrink back. Think I was about 12 when I had fried eggs Wink

loubloutwinmum · 21/05/2011 14:28

On phone again as Internet at home has gone wrong! Sorry as forgot who asked, Wizzler I think! It took be just over 5 months to lose those inches. My boobs were an F & now a DD but the only downside is they are a bit droopy now! Were big before but quite pert still, now they are a bit hollow but it is nice buying smaller bras as they are much prettier!

Hope you all have lovely weekends!

Littlefish · 21/05/2011 15:29

NoWay - plenty of spare boob to go around!

Like herdingcats, I went up several cup sizes when I was pregnant, and never went down.

Loublou - I have a feeling that when they finally do go down, mine will be droopy too. Oh well, at least they will be small and droopy, rather than massive and droopy! Grin

androbbob · 21/05/2011 20:47

Spare norkage here too! They have shrunk a cup size though - still humungous though! Match the belly!

Had a good eating day today - tea was a trial but worked well! A tortilla with a splash of barbeque sauce, pesto and tomato puree. Then loads of mushroom and onions and a small portion of sliced chicken and then some grated cheese. Cooked in the oven for 10 to 15 mins, served with a free green salad for a healthy 8PP. Was delicious and all for me!

vnmum - found a training plan for 10k so will start that this week. Hope you get your chest sorted soon.

All this talk of inches - I really should measure myself so I can see the difference! A job for the morning I think!

hoops997 · 21/05/2011 21:59

Hello Ladies, anyone know the points value for Chinese takeaway, chicken with cashew nuts and boiled rice?

With you all on the norkage, I got measured at M&S today and I'm 36B, in January I was a 38DD Shock

loubloutwinmum · 21/05/2011 22:13

Wine Wine Wine whoops.....

JoJoBaldwin · 22/05/2011 09:24

Here's hoping my backfat goes before my norkage.... Don't seem to have done a measurement of my boobs, though bra's are a bit more comfortable these days. I'm a 40C at the mo, maybe 38C.

Whoop! 38 inches! Just those 2 inches off make a devil of a difference in bra buying. Shops don't seem to realise that you can be 40 and over inches without having ginormous HH bazookas to go with. Finding 40C or B bras was always a mission.

Well friday and saturday were naughty days. Not tracked and eaten too much bready stuff so feel a tad bunged up. Back on track today and looking forward to another good 6 days of tracking to notch up another loss. Am determined to do mini-target of reaching 12st by beginning of June. Which means shifting 5lb this week. Shock

Going to do some strenuous exercise every day without fail and keep to 29 points and no more and see what happens. Even if I just manage 1.5 lb that gets me to my first stone off at long last.

Had froot's prawn linguine last night which was AMAZING. OH loved it too so that will definitely be making another appearance. Didn't have mange tout though so just used some petit pois.

Going to walk 4 miles to Broadstairs today to watch the world record dancing attempt, then maybe walk back too. That will get week kicked off nicely exercise-wise.

Happy sunday everyone!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 22/05/2011 09:43

Morning!
Am shattered today, as was out for dinner at a friend's house, got home at 1, DD2 woke up at 4 for a feed, then DD1 woke up at 630. Brilliant. DH is on nights so not here to share the pain. (i had taken DD2 with me to friends, and had a babysitter for DD1 before anyone worries!) Fortunately I was driving so at least no hangover! Our meal wasn't bad pp wise - it was a retro 80s dinner party, so we had prawn cocktail (i had mine without the mayo dressing so 1 point!) coq au vin with boiled potatoes, then vienetta! Not sure about the coq au vin, it was 2 chicken thighs so have guessed at 10 points? Had prob 100g of potatoes, but counted 3 just in case. Vienetta is 3 points for 49g slice, reckon mine was smaller than that but went with 3. Does this seem about right altogether?

NewChoos · 22/05/2011 13:05

Thanks shoulders and vnmum for all the information and also thank you everyone for the welcome.

I have just made a big pot of no points soup ready for tomorrow. My plan is to do the old points system for 2 weeks, put (hopeful) weightloss on here and then reassess if I want to do PP or not. I may well join up on line as I would find it hard to attend meetings.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and good luck for the coming week.
I am making the most of the last no holds barred day and about to have roast, followed by carrot cake :) May have to throw out the remainder of the cake unfortunately (DH does not consider anything without chocolate real cake).

herdingcats · 22/05/2011 15:41

NewChoos- a roast is not so much of a blowoutSmile. We have one nearly every week. Today is roast lamb, fatless roast new potatoes, carrots and parsnip. With mangetout and grevy. Followed by eton mess, all for 13PP.
I have also indulged in some fruit slice today, taking me 1PP over my 29 for the day.Not too bad for a weekend .
A new pudding recipe I have found today at 2PP, sounds delicious.

Strawberry Creme Brulee Serves 4

200g chopped strwaberries
200g 0% Greek yoghurt
200ml low fat custard
1tsp vanilla extract
4tsp caster sugar

Divide strawberries between 4 ramekins. Mix yoghurt, custard and vanilla extract. Then pour over strawberries. Sprinkle over sugarand grill gently until the sugar caramelises. Chill well for a couple of hours before serving.

NoWayNoHow · 22/05/2011 20:12

herding you are my new best friend with that creme brulee recipe - it's my absolute favourite dessert!

Have been very good since WI on Thurs (only used 6 weeklies and have done lots of cycling which I've not counted), but today was "blowout" day - friends came down to surprise DH so we went to local pub for lunch - had roast lamb with trimmings, as well as eton mess and a fair bit of Wine Wine.

Just going to consider all 49 weeklies gone (even though they're probably not) and stick to 29 dailies for rest of week.

Am ever so slightly drunk tipsy, so not going to catch up, but hope everyone has had as great a weekend as we have!

LolaLadybird · 22/05/2011 22:03

Gah - weekends are so difficult! Between Tuesday (WI) and Friday morning the weight drops off but then have Friday evening onwards to contend with. Too much socialising with friends this weekend involving wine. I have really cut down my wine consumption since starting WW and it makes such a difference but we had friends here on Friday evening and then went to a BBQ this afternoon. Doesn't help that WI is on a Tuesday ... At least I was good last night, I made JoJo's leek & mushroom pasta sauce and it was very yummy - I love creamy pasta sauces so very nice to be able to have a low fat one.

Will need to be very, very strict tomorrow ...

NoWayNoHow · 22/05/2011 22:13

lola I also made jojo's pasta sauce - delicious! Do you go to meetings or WI at home?

HaughtyChuckle · 23/05/2011 00:36

Hey all

had a birthday weekend away for a realtive, argh I dread what the scales will make of it :(

HaughtyChuckle · 23/05/2011 00:47

a relative said , 'you've lost weight!'

just out of the blue which was nice I'v noticed my waist is more visible still a heffer but any progress...

cacklingdragon · 23/05/2011 02:55

Hi Ladies,

Hope no one minds me diving in. Over the past week I've read the entire 7 threads and I feel like I already know some of you and just wanted to let you all know that it is your supportive manner with each other that has made me realise that I can do this. Will be signing up online on Thursday via quidco (can't remember who that tip was from but thank you :) .

I have around 130 pounds to lose for healthy BMI but am unsure if thats a bit unrealistic for my build - I am one of those people who weighs a good 2 stone more than I look like I do so uber thin really doesn't suit.

You ladies are an incredible inspiration and each and every one of you are amazing.

Blondes - I am genuinely genuinely sorry for your loss and hope that the pain eases and becomes more liveable with each day that passes.

SpringFollows · 23/05/2011 06:19

Morning everyone, welcome cackling.

I had a major blowout at the weekend Blush and am a little nervous about WI tomorrow. Oh well. I will stick to 29 points, and today is a no-alcohol day (which i plan to build up gradually week by week). I am trying to work out a meal plan for today. Tonight will be a no-points soup and granary roll. DH gets home late on Mondays and never wants to eat so we tend to have suppers. I will need a heftier lunch so probably will have baked salmon and salad. I am CRAVING salmon at the moment!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 07:32

welcome cacking and thank you - im getting there

130 sounds a lot, but you will get there slowly, but surely so good luck

NoWayNoHow · 23/05/2011 07:38

Welcome cackling and what a lovely post! Take your weight loss as it comes - keep setting mini goals and as you get closer t healthy BMI, you can assess what you look like and how you feel in yourself.

spring and herding sounds like we all let the weekend get the better of us! Although I'm convinced that if I'm to maintain goal for the rest of my life, this is probably how I'm going to have to eat - strict 29 throughout the week and food events at the weekend.

herding it's great when people notice - our friends yesterday mentioned that I looked slim and I got all humble and embarrassed, but was secretly very pleased and proud inside!!

NoWayNoHow · 23/05/2011 07:40

Sorry, that was supposed to say haughty - very slight hangover not helped by a DH who decided to start having a random chat at 5:15am about his day at work today, followed by a DS who woke at 5:45am. Angry Angry

SpringFollows · 23/05/2011 08:30

I definitely let the weekend get the better of me! When I was at my slimmest of about 9 stone 4 (and maintaining that quite easily) I used to only drink on Fridays and Saturdays, would have a big roast once a week and aside from that would eat quite modestly. Then I met DH and EVERY night became a party night. Blush

Oh well. What I like about the PPoint plan though is that it really feels like a plan for life, not a diet.

HeyH0 · 23/05/2011 08:58

Morning all. :) Welcome Cackling. I read through the previous threads prior to joining WW too; as you said, very inspirational.

It would seem that exercising my arse off for the past 10 days has produced a result, 2kg down yesterday. Grin (STS the previous week, so not as dramatic as it sounds). Only 4kg away from my mini-goal now...

Herding Loving the sound of the brûlée.

NoWayNoHow · 23/05/2011 09:04

Well done HeyHo that's a great result (4.5lbs? if my maths is right)

HaughtyChuckle · 23/05/2011 09:08

welcomespringfollows

Willabywallaby · 23/05/2011 09:21

Just a quick morning from me. Been bad for a good few days, not sure Wednesday WI will be a good day Sad.

Potty training so not going out much, but need to get some food. Going to scan back to other thread for linguine and leek/mushroom recipes.

Have a great day all!
