vnmum getting them up is a big deal! That's half the battle won! Wink

blondes probably completely natural to feel mixed about it. It's a great result, but what a horrible way to lose weight Sad

hoops997 · 20/05/2011 15:12

I'm not happy today :(, went to WI last night and I've put on half a pound! I don't know what's gone wrong, I've tracked exercised and generally been v.good....

Hope everyone is having good weeks :)

hmc · 20/05/2011 17:04

Sorry to hear that your family and your sister in particular are going through the wringer loopyla - I hope things improve

Blondes - am sure you have conflicting feelings about the 1lb loss, the grief diet is not something anyone wants to endure Sad. It's always good to see you on this thread though x

Well done froot and Iheart on your losses....and bad luck hoops - but remember, a half pound gain is just a big poo!

Loublout - I hope you were good at today's pub lunch?

And Wine to Noway on your uber skinny jeans! Well done you

Willaby - you may no longer be between a size 12 and size 14, you might be there already! I thought I was between the two but went shopping this week and size 12 fitted (I can even sit down in them and still breath Grin) - first pairs of size 12s in 8 years

Well done androbbob on the 5kms - you'll be working on 10kms next!

Yes, sorry folks about the gym envy Blush - I realise I am very lucky. Can't exercise atm though as totally wiped out by bad cold. Silver lining is I've temporarily lost my sense of taste so eating is a complete chore! Have a good weekend everyone

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2011 17:10

pmsl hmc at 1/2lb poo - remember girls i managed a 7 lb er!!!!

how are you all doing with your 49 extra?

OP posts:
hoops997 · 20/05/2011 17:26

lol at hmc that's what my leader said Grin but had some good news today so it all feels good anyway, my DS is a baby model and he has a shoot for M & S on Monday, am v. excited but I will have to plan as I'm going to be travelling most of the day, how do you all plan ahead?

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2011 17:43

wow at ds being a M&S star!!!

carrot sticks/low fat humous and ready chopped fruit to nibble on

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 20/05/2011 17:46

Yes, blondes I was about to bring up The Infamous Poo Grin

hoops, genuinely 0.5lb is barely a gain (as I think hmc once comforted me with!), more like a sts. And massive congrats on baby modelling for DS! I always wanted to get DS into that, but never really knew how.

A concur with carrot sticks, homous, fruit pots, etc. Something easy to pack, transport and eat!

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2011 17:47

it was after xmas and serious stuffing - and thats all im gonna say on the subject Grin

vnmum · 20/05/2011 17:55

debs39 · 20/05/2011 19:24

7lbs..ouch.....wouldn't have wanted to follow you into the loo after that one !!! blondes ...tee hee!!! Big can of airfreshener wouldn't have touched the fall out in that particular loo!!! glad you are back and still making us all smile too big hugs (( ))

androbbob · 20/05/2011 22:01

hmc - I was thinking of going from 5K to 10K - just need to find a training plan to do it and then find a 10K race locally in the autumn that will be my goal.

Foodwise I am struggling at the moment - full of cold and having a spotty DS is not helping, but will try better tomorrow. Need to give myself a good talking to and just get on with it.

Some lovely losses this week - need to go to be now though, so a short post.

loubloutwinmum · 20/05/2011 22:58

Hi ladies, on phone so a quick catch up! Noway & Hmc , thanks, I was a good girl at pub lunch - fish cakes & salad with lemon creme fraiche! Was very yummy & the best choice on menu. Did have a G&T too so was lovely. I also checked my measurements since starting WW & have lost 5" off my boobs, 6" off my waist & 7" off my hips & gone from a bursting at seems size 16 to a size 12! Quite shocked at the inch loss!

Well done on losses this week, been some great results. Hope u all have a fabulous weekend.

wizzler · 21/05/2011 09:46

Fantastic results Lou.. how long has it taken you to lose all those inches

vnmum · 21/05/2011 11:10

androbbob there are a few free 5k to 10k podcasts on itunes, one is by podrunner

tiredemma · 21/05/2011 11:44

struggling this week and I dont know why (other than I am on my period and feel generally shit and found myself reaching for a bar of Green & Black chocolate in sainsbury's Sad )

Last week I 'felt' that had lost some weight prior to my weigh in- dont feel so confident this week.

NoWayNoHow · 21/05/2011 12:22

tiredemma AF is a bitch - she makes you feel like shit, bloat up like a balloon and want to reach for comfort food.

Every single one of us has 1 week in 4 where the WI doesn't go well because TOTM is upon us. The trick is to try to power through it, knowing that even if you don't get the result you want this week, you've not set yourself up to fail the following week when AF is gone and your body is behaving itself again.

wizzler · 21/05/2011 13:25

Tiredemma.. as Noway says, we all have those days. Try to do something different.. go for a walk of something to brighten yourself up.. or I "treat" myself to some of those ridiculously priced fruits in plastic boxes from sainsburys instead of the Green and Blacks ... Keep going girl

herdingcats · 21/05/2011 13:26

Hi all [smie]
loublou- that is an amazing inch loss, I hope to get that far soon. Although my boobs are not playing ball so to speak, hardly any change there. I recken I could almost be at goal if they shrank as consistantly as the rest of me is Hmm I can dream Wink
tiredemma- I was a bit Hmm a couple of weeks ago I think we all have good and bad weeks. You will bounce back next week don't worry.
Androgbob- I wish I could even do the 5k, you must be really getting into it to push it further. My DH runs 10k 2-3 times a week and it really keeps him fit.
Blondes - can't comment on your 7lber, I would need a pain killer just to think about it Shock
Piffle used to post on here has she stopped WW?

tiredemma · 21/05/2011 13:32

Dp just told me that he plans to hog the TV this afternoon to watch Rugby - so I am going to go to the Gym and then have a nice sauna/steam afterwards.

Do you know when you feel all bloated and 'bleurgh'???

Littlefish · 21/05/2011 13:40

Herdingcats- I've got the same issue with my boobs which have always been massive! I've lost just over 3.5 stone and although I've lost at least 4 inches round my back, nothing has come off the front, which means that my cup size has actually gone up. I'm now a mind boggling 34K!!!!!!!!! Blush.

At least having massive tits means that the rest of me is starting to look small by comparison Grin.

NoWayNoHow · 21/05/2011 13:42

I put on 2.5lbs of "bleurgh" last TOTM! Sauna and gym will help, as will drinking loads of water. I also swear by the water retention tablets I take (when I take them - I'm quite often lax about it!) They're completely herbal, and I find that they work really well to relieve the bloatedness.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2011 13:45

fab inch loss there :)

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 21/05/2011 13:46

littlefish I will gladly take some of the extra boob off you - mine are the first things to go along with tummy fat Sad and honestly, post breastfeeding and WW, they're just a pair of fried eggs now! (tmi???) Grin
