Jamie Oliver has a good recipe for 'ice cream' that I've used plenty of times. It really is just a bag of frozen fruit and a tub of yoghurt whizzed around in the food processor. Last night, we made a big bowl of raspberry and mint yogurt and it was only 2PP each.

The oilve oil spray www.ocado.com/webshop/getSearchProducts.do?clearTabs=yes&entry=olive+oil+spray is good to keep calories down too. I roast lots of veg for my baby so portions of buttersquash and sweet potato for me too.

NoWayNoHow · 14/06/2011 18:19

Just a quick thank you to whoever it was upthread who recommended Warburton's Square-ish wraps as a home-made pizza substitute! Just had the most lush dinner!

Wrap (4PP) topped with 1tbsp tomato puree (0pp), 30g chorizo (2pp), 25g light feta (1pp), peppadews (0pp), thinly sliced orange pepper (0pp), halved pitted black olives (1pp), and all baked in the oven for 5mins at 200C. Pizza for 8pp - bargain!

Littlefish · 14/06/2011 18:26

I'll pm you Korma. Grin

herdingcats · 14/06/2011 19:32

Hello everyone, think I am back on track after a crap weekend.
Just posted a recipe for Marinara sauce on the recipe thread, hope someone likes it. 5PP per person, 10PP if you serve with 60g pasta.

LolaLadybird · 14/06/2011 20:44

WI today and lost 2lbs which I am very pleased with but still a half pound away from that bloody elusive first stone off! Had a tricky weekend - socialising with friends on Friday evening and out for lovely dinner with DH on Sat (wedding anniversary) - and was in negative points by Monday so definitely pleased with this week's result.

Haven't been on the recipe thread for a bit. Will go and have a nose now ...

benbon · 14/06/2011 20:48

Littlefish · 14/06/2011 20:49

Well done Lola - you'll get your second silver seven next week, I'm sure!

I've just got back from weighing in, which I was still dreading after my holiday. However, I seem to have pulled a blinder, and managed to stay the same. I also got my 50lb certificate which was lovely!

vnmum · 14/06/2011 20:55

well done benbon and littlefish and well done on the certificate

Furball · 15/06/2011 06:52

littlefish Grin - FANTASTIC!

OnlyWantsOne · 15/06/2011 07:34

well done Lola and happy aniversary :)

Congrats BenBon - I got my first silver 7 :)

this week WI lost 4 1/2 lb so now in two weeks ive lost 9lb :) happy!!!!

OnlyWantsOne · 15/06/2011 07:34

oh bugger I meant to say go jump Benbon ;) and cograts littlefish

gemmummy · 15/06/2011 07:50

wi today, another 2lb off but I am going on hols on Mon, 11 nights all inclusive. I have told myself that if I put on 2-4 lb I will be happy with that as I don't want to ruin my holiday by trying to watch the points all the time. Fingers crossed. I got my 5 percent star today (I'm an online member)

Littlefish · 15/06/2011 09:09

Furball - thank you! Can't wait to see you...

Only - congratulaltions on your first silver seven, and double congratulations on you weight loss this week!

gemmummy - I didn't watch my points (2 weeks all inclusive), I just gave myself a few rules: No ice-cream, no creamy cocktails, no eating between meals. I tried "no chips", but that one fell by the wayside pretty quickly! It seemed to work because I managed to stay the same.

mistlethrush · 15/06/2011 09:17

Well done on the certificate Littlefish!

Sorry I'm being vague about my targets etc. Blush about current weight, Blush that I let it get so out of hand, Blush that I'm giving myself so long to get to goal - but I want to be realistic and actually get there reasonably and then keep it off this time.

Had a big plate of ratatouille, red cabbage and a sweet potato last night.

OnlyWantsOne · 15/06/2011 10:05

can I politely ask you ladies to look here on my craft thread, about my wallet I made??

vnmum · 15/06/2011 10:22

well done lola only and gemmummy

I managed to stay away from the comfort food yesterday so am pleased with that. AF arrived today so i am hoping that means i might not have water weight at WI tomorrow but i'm not really sure how long i hang on to water at TOTM.

vnmum · 15/06/2011 10:25

only I had a look at your photos for the wallet, and yes i like it but can i say you looked fab in the bikini on the beach, i am very Envy Smile

OnlyWantsOne · 15/06/2011 10:35

shame that is before i had my second baby, and id been in greece about a month and lived on salad and meat hardly any carbs!! was 9stone

vnmum · 15/06/2011 12:00

i wish i could have adopted that diet when i lived in cyprus, but unfortunately i had a penchant for halloumi, greek macs and pizza hut on the sea front and too much alcohol. But obviously low carb works for you so that maybe worth bearing in mind if your weight starts stalling

OnlyWantsOne · 15/06/2011 12:42

HMM, so ive lost 9lb in two weeks, that will probably slow right down wont it?

tiredemma · 15/06/2011 13:33

lost another lb at WI last night.

Seems to be a common theme! but better off than on

And deep joy, I can see my collar bones again- they are not surrounded by flab!!

mistlethrush · 15/06/2011 14:05

Angry put on 1/2 but I actually feel thinner ????

Anyway, still means I've lost a stone in 6 wks, so not really unhappy. Just a bit GRRR....

HeyH0 · 15/06/2011 14:35

Only The wallet isn't my taste, but I think it's a marketable shape & style. It might be worth listing a few on folksy.co.uk too test the water. (Wallets, laptop sleeves, needle/hook/brush rolls, project & make-up bags all seem to sell well).

As for weight-loss, you might get another week or two of substantial losses, but it will slow; sadly, early losses are never 100% fat. I've temporarily stopped eating my weeklies, exercise for 14-18 hours a week & my average loss is 1.5kg (3.3 lbs); if I ate all my weeklies and exercised at the same level I reckon that would drop to around 2lbs per week.

Emma Yay for the collarbone! :D

HeyH0 · 15/06/2011 14:37

Mistle 1/2 could very well be fluid. Are you taking measurements?

mistlethrush · 15/06/2011 14:51

HeyH0 - don't need to - size smaller trousers are now loose, as is the top I bought 4 wks ago - which was on the snug size when I got it. in fact, have just gone out and bought the size smaller for a bit later in the summer Grin as its my favourite colour and in the sale!
